~Quiet as the Soul~

Quietpaw smiled happily, to show she was okay, tilting her head questioningly she hioped he was okay as well. When the topic of going on an adventure came up, she jumped in excitment, a wide look of curiousity filled her greyish blue orbs happily, she nodded, adventures were always fun. And she did indeed have the time to go, she had all the time in the world when she was with Soulpaw. She admitted her last 'adventure' didn't go so well, in fact it was horrible, but that wasn't going to stop her from going with Soulpaw, she knew nothing would go wrong and smiled gently to prove it.

Soulpaw started to walk towards the boarder line of the camp when he saw Quietpaw jump up excitedly. he was very excited to go on an adventure because they were always so fun. As Soulpaw was walking, he glanced back at Quietpaw like he usually does
"Is that okay if i call you quite?" Soulpaw asked her
he didn't want to call her my her full name if he liked her, he wanted to have a nickname for her.

they reached the border line of the camp and then he turned around
"Well he is the start of our adventure! lets hope its very exciting!" Soulpaw meowed excitedly as he walked out and glanced arounf at all of his surroundings. there was a lot of trees, flowers and plants he had never seen before. there was bushes of flowers there was berries and there was some wildlife also!

Quietpaw followed him to the edge of camp, she smiled happily as she did so, this was exciting indeed. When he asked if he could call her Quiet, she nodded, she didn't mind of course, she wished she could call him something back but it was not possible for her to do so, and she also could not ask. "Well he is the start of our adventure! lets hope its very exciting!" Soulpaw meowed excitedly, Quietpaw nodded and could hardly wait for it to start, they padded out of camp, and she gazed about curiously, so many trees and flowers, but she had seen them all before, and the bushes brightly covered with flowers, and berries that smelled sweet as the scent hit her nose, she hoped it would linger for a while, she loved that smell. She gazed at the birds overhead and the rabbits, mice and various other prey that quickly ran away.

Soulpaw listened for every particular sound that he loved to hear in the forest at all times. the wind blowing, the birds chirping, and if he listened hard enough, he thought he could even hear the sound or the plants growing, that was his most favorite sound. he couldn't help but wonder how long exactly they have been walking because he was too drawn away by his surrounding. he thought that it must have been far because he could no longer see the path they were walking in nor could he see the boarder line between the outside and the camp.

As Soulpaw gazed at his surrounding trying to find something spectacular and interesting on their adventure, he found nothing. Then as he walked a little further around a tall line of trees, a cliff stood right before his eyes. although he doesn't so much show it, he is very much afraid of cliffs. but he couldn't be afraid of this cliff as much, because along the horizon stood this very beautiful scenery and a huge waterfall along that as well. although it would take them a really long time to get down there, he knew that it would be worth the walk.
"Wow that is beautiful! Don't you think so?" Soulpaw said in amazement

Quietpaw padded beside him glancing out with her deep greyish blue eyes, her snowy white paws trailed along and her gaze moved from object to object, animal to animal, but she wondered as they padded together, what could count and truely amazing, and worthy of being called spectacular for their adventure. Quietpaw blinked and looked at the cliff curiously, she looked around curiously until Soulpaw spoke, she glanced down and her eyes widened with awe, as she stared towards it, she nodded and could hardly believe her eyes. She knew it was a long way to get there, but it looked like an adventure, a fun one at that, it would be exciting to go now and see what it was all about up close, she wondered if Soulpaw thought the same way.

"So do you think we can make it before sundown?" Soulpaw asked quiet
He didn't think they could, but then a voice spoke inside of his head, it was too quiet to hear though so he just ignored it and went on with it.

"So how are we gonna get down there do ya think?" he asked as he looked around for a path or something to bring him down to it. Soulpaw studied the area real quick, but nothing, although he really didn't move around much he didn't know if there was was a path around the edge.
"see anything?"

Quietpaw looked down curiously, her greyish blue eyes searched the bottom, she had to admit it would take some time to get down there. She figured they could get down there before Sundown, the question was how long would it take them to get back up, but it didn't matter she really wanted to go down and explore, this was an adventure after all, might as well do something exciting, and plus curiousity got the better of her. She nodded a bit for the first question hoping she was right, she glanced around a bit, and noticed a small path, she flicked her ears and pointed her snow white paw at it curiously, before looking at Soulpaw to see what he thought.

Soulpaw looked to where quiet was pointing. he saw a narrow path going down the side of the cliff, it looked really steep, but he was willing to give it a try.
"That could work it sure would get up down faster than going around the cliff" Soulpaw suggested
He padded over to it and took his steps very slowly at first being very cautious, then he started to speed it up a little bit. he saw many and many trees past him by on the way down, and he wondered how they stood up on a steep cliff side, although he could see that part of the roots were sticking out. they were in there sideways.

They weren't even a quarter of the way down yet and Soulpaws stomach growled. he was indeed getting hungry. but that would not stop him from making it to the bottom.

he observed the cliff side a little bit more. there were a bunch of ricks in the side, and there was even one part that looked like all gravel. it looked as if you were to stand on it and it would suck you into the sand. Soulpaw made sure he stayed away from there.

Quietpaw gaze around curiously with her deep greyish blue orbs, she looked down trying to see the bottom better without much luck, the closer they got down the better it was be, the easier to see. Quietpaw smiled and followed after him carefully, she moved slowly at first a bit afraid of falling but sped up after wards following him still being very careful. Quietpaw's ears flicked as she looked curiously at the sideways roots sticking the side of the cliff wall, they were sticking out from all sides and bending in all sorts of twisty shapes.

Quietpaw blinked a bit when she heard Soulpaw's stomach growl, she admitted she was rather hungry as well, upon hearing her own growl she blushed under her greyish brown fur, her hind snow white paws slipped and she fell over the side she was silent though clinging to the edge she forced herself back up and looked over the edge scariedly. No more of that she thought to herself and followed causiously after Soulpaw watching her steps from now on.
