"I will begin," Zeromoon mewed softly to the leaders, stepping in. Haggarstar did not protest. The leader kept quiet and only gave the deputy a brief nod for her to continue. Zeromoon did not wait for other leaders to let her step forward first. She did not need to wait for the cats to look at her. They already looked at her, their eyes wide with amazement and curiousty. Zeromoon knew what they all thought. She told them, "Cats of all clans, the reason why I am here is because Demonstar is dead. I was the clan's deputy. MistClan approved me as their leader." She paused to let the words hanging in the air. There were loud murmurs and cries. Indeed, they were not surprised. She sighed, moving on, "Many of you were wondering if I earned my leader name yet. I did not, yet. And I have no wishes to be MistClan's leader."
Haggarstar remained cool-tempered through all of this. She was designed to endure through this kind of stuff. She held her breath. She did not know what to say, but only to remain silent.
Everpaw was about to greet a friend from a different clan until Zeromoon, the deputy of MistClan began the meeting. Her tail drooped in disappointment. No apprentices welcomed her at all. Sighing, she was glad to be with Lasspaw, her clanmate close friend.
Appleblossom's purple eyes glared in the shining moon. The moon was not clouded. A good sign, she thought. She was happy to learn that the damned leader is dead. Poor MistClan, she had pity on these cats. They went through a huge deal of difficult times. She glanced at Haggarstar quickly, just to catch a glimpse of the mysterious scar on her left cheek. Her ears twitched. She really dislike the DawnClan leader. She is too strange, too mysterious for her nature. The medicine cat did not really like Haggarstar, but adored her leadership. She admired the fact that DawnClan cats were so willing to give their lives up for their strange, dark leader.

Brokencyde's mouth dropped open. "But..but Zeromoon...you'd be an amazing leader!" he meowed admirably. He was in complete shock.
Mysticpaw's pretty mouth dropped open in shock.

((Oh apple, just wanted to let you know Lynxfang had greeted Everpaw (klnda XD))) Padpaw let out a yawn and replied to Mysticpaw's offer, "Eh...how 'bout tomorrow. I'm too lazy to do it tonight." He listened, at first not as attentive, to the Dawnclan leader talk. However, his ears perked up in surprise to hear Zeromoon was backing off. "Tch, who would turn down the oppurtunity to become leader?"he meowed loudly. "If it were me, I would-"
Tundraheart hissed, "Shut up." Her eyes glared at the loud Fireclan apprentice coldly before turning her attention back to her leader. She was also slightly surprised that Zeromoon wasn't to become their leader, but she respected her decision.

White-eyes' white eyes ( ) widened as Zeromoon said what she said. "But Zeromoon, how can I be leader? I'm blind!" she yowled, looking in her general direction. "I don't think I can be leader so soon. I was expecting you to become Zerostar. I'm not ready, so someone will have to be the leader instead. I don't think I can do this." she looked down at the floor, or where she thought the floor was. She wasn't ready to be the leader. She needed someone to actually show her the ropes about being deputy first.

"Canyonpaw, that's a cool name!" Cloudpaw exclaimed brightly. She gave a small mrrow of laughter as he gave the remark about Rainpaw. Then, the Fireclan apprentice realized Dreampaw had been quiet for awhile. "You okay?" She meowed softly under her breathe, too quiet for either tom to hear. Her tel eyes had a little bit of worry in them, even though it was probably nothing to worry about.

((Oh, I did not realize that! Sorry, blaze!))
Appleblossom greeted Walldrop curtly with a small smile, "Greetings, Walldrop." She tried hard not to shudder from his tail sliding down her spine. She ignored it finally as she remained quiet. She knew this already. StarClan sent her a message that Zeromoon would not become a leader. Narrowing her eyes, she wondered who will take the leader position.
Everpaw's mouth turned into a devil smile. She seriously hated this she-cat's guts. She really hoped that she will lay her claws on this cat soon. It better be soon! She smiled sweetly at Lynxfang, "Oh, hello, Lynxfang." An image flashed in her mind. Lynxfang lying in the dried blood and mud, her claws raking over her pelt. It was violent, but secretly, darkly, Everpaw liked it.
Zeromoon bowed her head low, her eyes settling on Whiteeyes. "That's not true, Whiteeyes. If you are not good enough to become a leader, I would not choose you. But I picked you. You will become one of the best leaders the forest ever have!" She touched noses with her deputy.

Eaglepaw of Fireclan
Eaglepaw jumped when an apprentice appeared infront of her. She inhaled her scent, and realised it was Mistclan. She smiled as equally shyly and nodded. "Hi, there. What's your name? Mine's Eaglepaw," she purred quietly, moving slightly away from her mentor to see the other apprentice better. She smiled lightly and excamined her features, taking in her nice smell.
Stonestream of Fireclan
He nodded in relief. "Okay, thanks," he said and nudged her shoulder in thanks and got up and moved away from her, listening to the gathering that was starting. He frowned at the apprentice that came over and looked annoyed at the conversation.
Jadefeather of Mistclan
She saw the apprentice Mysticpaw move towards Padpaw. Edginess made her look up and narrow her eyes. She had the feeling they were interested in each other. But it was Fireclan apprentice, two different clans could not meet each other, only if it was at a gathering. She bared her teeth and got up, moving to Mysticpaw and nudging her away from Padpaw and the other Fireclan cats in the group. She growled under her breath to Mysticpaw's ear and nudged her away as best she could.

Foxpaw padded calmly into the clearing, looking around. He wanted to be late, he didn't know who to talk to. His gaze searched the claring. He saw Stonestream, but why would he want to go chat with warriors? They never did anything interesting. He saw Eaglepaw too, and looked away quickly, pretending he didn't see the she-cat. Finally, with a sigh, he sat down where he was, alone and near the edge of the clearing. It was kind of embarassing sitting by himself, but what was he supposed to do?

Bowing her head, the blind deputy spoke again. "I.. I shall try." White-eyes meowed.
Dreampaw, who had phazed out for bit, jumped back into her skin when Cloudpaw said something to her. "Huh, what? Did I miss something?" she said, flicking her tail and blinking her golden eyes.
Mythpaw, still fuming, had her head down and walked into Foxpaw. "Oof! Sorry. I didn't see you there." she muttered.

"No, not really, just wanted to make sure you didn't like, die or something." Cloudpaw mewed, smiling.
Foxpaw jumped in surprise, letting out a small hiss. But when the she-cat said sorry, he looked down, kind of shocked. It reminded him of when Eaglepaw ran into him, and they started arguing. 'Ugh, stop thinking about her!' The apprentice thought, and looked up. "It's fine, I was tired of sitting anyways. What's your name?" Foxpaw mewed, his tail flicking back and forth.

Mythpaw looked up at Foxpaw, and frowned slightly. At least she'd have someone to talk to, to distract her from Padpaw. "Foxpaw, we're in the same clan, or did you forget already?" she meowed, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her legs. She sighed. "Dufus." she muttered.

"Huh?" Foxpaw muttered, then realizd what he did. "Oops, sorry Mythpaw, I'm just kind of distracted right now." Foxpaw gave a little laugh, trying to not make ny more stupid mistakes like that. Sitting down beside Mythpaw, he asked, "Why are you mad anyways?" It was kind of obvious the she-cat was bothered about something, or else she wouldn't have ran into him.

"It's stupid Padpaw being a stupid flirting son of a frikking dog. Honestly! And to think, just last week I risked my skin to save his life, and he repays me by being oblivious to me liking him! Urgh!" Mythpaw huffed. "I just don't understand him... I want to, but I can't... I want him to understand me too. Stupid cat. She's playing along as well. If this wasn't a Gathering she'd be ripped to shreds by now." Mythpaw grumbled angrily as she pointed to Mysticpaw with her tail.

Foxpaw's eyes widened in surprise as Mythpaw went on a long rant about Padpaw flirting with Mysticpaw. Wow. "I know how you feel." Foxpaw mewed, glaring at the tom and at Eaglepaw. Ugh, her again. Why did the she-cat keep popping back into his head. The tom shook it quickly, and tried to not think about the she-cat. "Padpaw is definetly a...son of a frikking dog." Foxpaw mewed, trying not to laugh at the bizarre insult. If he did, Mythpaw would probably claw his ears to shreads, just like she wanted to do to Mysticpaw.

Zeromoon smiled, "All right." She moved back, waiting for someone to step in. Haggarstar stepped forward, her voice high enough, "DawnClan want to give a blessing over MistClan." She paused, glancing at Zeromoon and Whiteeyes with a swift smile. Then she told all cats, "DawnClan is doing well. We have a new warrior." She searched for a familiar face and she found her. "Lynxfang!"

"I'm Cosmospaw, you're from Fireclan right?"the pretty white she-cat mewed, her pale blue eyes gazing at Eaglepaw with shy friendliness.
Lynxfang smiled smugly as she heard her name while a few cats called her new warrior name. She gave Haggarstar a nod, glad that her leader acknowlegded her towards the other Clan cats. "Looks like someone is still a chosen apprentice," she whispered to Everpaw with a mocking voice.
Canyonpaw smiled at Cloudpaw's complement at his name. He never really thought about it, but he admitted it was quite unique. "So what's-a-happenin' in your Clan?"he asked casually with a grin.
Tigerfrost approached Stonestream with a small nod of greeting before the Dawnclan deputy settled beside the Fireclan warrior and focused his gaze on the his leader speaking.
Blazeheart was trying hard to concentrate on Haggarstar's words, yet it was so hard. Revolutionstar seemed to be within her focus every heartbeat. The way he held his head proudly and his beautiful pelt shimmering under the moonlight, making the other leaders insignificant to her. Stop it!she scolded herself, feeling her ears redenning. She reluctantly teared her amber gaze away from her leader and tried to focus on the meeting.

Mysticpaw shoved her way back to Padpaw and whispered. "Tomorrow would be fine." she purred. She waved her tail at him, shot a cold glare at Mythpaw, and padded over to her friends. She occasionally would glance over at Padpaw and smile.
Revolutionstar gazed at the other leaders, and wondered if she was finished speaking.

Haggarstar stepped back. Appleblossom fidgeted around, trying to be comfortable. Unforunately, with Walldrop in her presence, she felt different. It was like she was not a medicine cat. Her mind drifted away...making all cats disappear, but only Walldrop and her. She closed her eyes, daydreaming about kissing Walldrop's muzzle. Her paws tingled with happiness until someone poked her in her ribs. She opened an eye, "What?"

a lithe she-cat sat at the back of the clearing with a mystified expression on her face. she was there, but not really. her mind was off wandering, not really caring about the drama in the other clans, she only came because she was asked too. no, petalwhisper wasn't saying she didn't want to attend gatherings, she just got bored of them when all they were, were tense meetings and the leaders trying to outdo each other with how well the clans were flourishing. petalwhisper knew it was a white lie. the clans couldn't all be strong at the same time, it just wasn't possible. but, she guessed she would give them the benefit of the doubt. afterall, she had no place to say tail all at a gathering, nor did she ever feel the need to. even now with all the talk from the cat zeromoon, who she only caught fragments of, she barely paid attention, though she was slightly disgusted that he was speaking at a gathering. petalwhisper repositioned herself with her thick gray tail around her paws, and broke out of her trance to gaze around the fellow cats. she recognized only some of them, of course her clanmates and then some cats she had seen at other gatherings, their scents vaguely familiar. flicking her eyes to look at the leaders, she placed her glare upon them each in turn, taking in there builds and seeing if any of them were lying. somewhat satisfied, she sighed, and tilted her head to the side, once again drifting off into her alternate reality, her pools forcused on the bright moon shining down on them, and of the cats of silverpelt which appeared to be smiling upon them in the light of the mood during the gathering. a small smile touched her lips, and stayed there as the gathering moved on around her.

Revolutionstar noted that she had stepped back. He stepped forward. He gazed levely at the cats below him and meowed. "Fireclan has been blessed with two strong kits." he paused a moment then went on. "Fireclan is strong and well fed at this point. We have recovered from everything that has happened in the past." he gazed at the Mistclan cats. "We are willing to put the past behind us." he meowed calmly not a hint of anger in his voice, he was truly calm.

Cloverpaw sat fidgeting as he watched the leaders. Quickly looking around the crowd of cats looking for the thousandth time, he still couldn't spot the other chosen apprentices. A warrior he didn't recognize caught his wandering eyes with a glare and he quickly look forward again. "...willing to put the past behind us" Revolutionstar was saying. By the way he was looking at MistClan it seemed like he was talking about them. But what did he know..he wasn't paying attention. Suddenly he caught a familiar colored pelt out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head slightly so it wasn't too noticeable, Cloverpaw spotted Lynxpaw. Or was she Lynxfang now? He was pretty sure she was a warrior. He hesitated once before attempting to casually pad to her side. And Everpaw was with her! His movement seemed subtle enough, he didn't catch any eyes following him. He was about a fox-length from her -he dared not get closer- and his paws itched to confront them.
Another Gathering. This one seemed important, though he was only paying attention to half of the announcements. Dragontail sat with most of the other MoonClan cats. He usually went to see his other few friends in other Clans, though today was one of those days that he preferred to sit, tail wrapped around his paws. Bored, the mottled tom stood to go sit in a quiet corner of the spacious clearing. Just as he was leaving he spotted the she-cat he had met just a few sunrises before; Petalwhisper. With a small smile, he went up to her. "We meet again, I see"
Sunflash was listening to each of the leader announcements. He was deputy, what else would he do? As much as he loved to talk he knew it was his duty to listen. At least the topics were never boring. Blinking, he tuned out of the conversation and turned to his right. "Something wrong, Blazeheart?" He meowed, his green eyes sincere. Her mood seemed to radiate from her, ever so slightly. She seemed..embarrassed almost. ((Love the post header, Stormy :3))

"Guess what Rawflame, I gotta date tomorrow night,"Padpaw meowed smugly to his friend with smirk. "Jealous?"
"Wha?"Blazeheart started with a jump. She realized Sunflash was looking at her with a curious and concerned look. "Oh..um nothing,"she muttered, trying to hide her embarrassment, though her ears glowed red. "I'm just, er- thinking about how Mistclan is going to act without Demonstar leading them anymore,"the ginger she-cat tried to cover-up.

Rainpaw igonred Canyonpaw's commant and looked over to the leaders that looked over them, catching the MistClan leader's words with a shake of his head. "So...the tom turned down leadership....Great." The light brown tom sighed, rolling his lime green eyes with a lash of his tail. Right now, he rather be back at home then listen to this.
Looking at Cloudpaw and then Canyonpaw, he rose to his feet and turned around. "I'll be over there, since your busy flirting." Rainpaw meowed, padding off with his tail halfway off the ground.

Canyonpaw shrugged, "Sure, see ya later."
"Hm, how about near our border,"Padpaw meowed back, not bothering to be quiet at all.
Pandapaw let out a wide, loud yawn that was recieved by some glares from nearby cats. But he didn't care. Geez, what a pain being here,"he thought grudgingly. How he wanted to take a nap so bad. His gaze traveled to the leader's lazily, but he was in no mood to listen. Then his eyes caught the group of apprentices he recognized as the chosen apprentices. Oh yea, forgot about that...he mused, though it was half-true. He debated on whether to go over or stay here. After a few hearbeats, the tom hauled himself to his paws and sauntered over to the group. "'Sup,"Pandapaw greeted with a lazy flick of his tail.
"Oh, it's you two too,"Lynxfang replied, turning around to spot the two other toms, her green eyes narrowing.

Wallstar grinned in success. Appleblossom may be talented at hiding her emotions, but she was by far not good at keeping them from him. Even the bad ones, the large tom picked up on. Moving a smidge away, to keep it normal, he turned himself to face her completely. Would others think it weird that he only wanted to mingle with her, and no one else? Twitcing his tail, he didnt think much of it. "And how are you this fine evening?", he asked. Though, it wasn't very fine. The air was humid, there was too much tension about Zeromoon, and the common hatred between clans. It drove him up a tree and back. All the pandemonium and chaos. Thankfully, it was gone when he looked into her eyes. Would those eyes change when the monster took her over?
Lasspaw's pelt stood up like pins and needles in surprise. So many cats, and now Lynxfang. The cocky she-cat who gained a rank. "Sup, Lynxfang". She didnt bother to act polite, even if the cat was a warrior.. She reached her tail and placed it around her paws daintly. She may talk rude, but never look it. After all, she never knows whos watching! "Haven't broken any rules yet, eh?".

by this point in time, nothing was getting to petalwhisper. she was so far into herself that she swayed slightly with her breathing. she was sure the gathering was buzzing around her, with excitement and arguments but she didn't really bother to pay attention. the twinkling stars looked so mesmorizing, and when dragontail approached her she didn't notice him until he spoke. and when he did speak, she almost jumped out of her sking and she barely stopped herself from making a ridiculously embarrasing noise infront of her clanmate. taking a deep breath, her eyes wide with horror. slowly she turned to look at him, her ears growing hot and her tail lashing now. oh boy, this was not good, she thought to herself. this was going to end badly or she was going to say something stupid. she just knew it! forcing a rather genuine smile petalwhisper dipped her head in greeting. "yes we do meet again. it's weird it's almost like we are in the same clan or something!" she attempted to joke though a choked sound escaped her. what was going on?! it wasn't like petalwhisper to act like such a mousebrain! especially in front of toms. but, a thought washed over her, she was in a daze and he had surprised her. yes that was it she decided inwardly.

Rawflame lifted a brow at Padpaw. Why would she care? Pfft... It wasn't like her and Padpaw were a 'thing' She just liked to mess around with him. Push his face into the ground, and listen to him rant. Rawflame smiled a little crookedly, which was quite breathtaking that someone could do that and look seductively proud. She swayed her tail up to his little chinny chin chin and purred. Lifting it a bit she smiled at him -jokingly- she said, "Oh of course I am, hunny bunny." Then as soon as her smile came, it disapeared. She lashed her tail away like he was poisen, and pushed past him. Bumping shoulders with him, she looked back and managed to blink the laughter from her eyes.
Tigerpaw strode down the little path from Fireclans post. He grinned all arrogantly and stopped to where, if anyone looked, they could see him perfectly. Pushing out his chest, Tigerpaw pricked his round pointed ears and smiled out over the crowd. "It's okay, I'm here now! No need to send a search party out for my sexy self", he grinned crookedly and strode down the hill, right into Padpaw's face. Tigerpaw was quick enough to see that Rawflame had been offended, used sarcasm, then acted with hatred. Rolling his eyes, the tom looked over to his clan mate. "Man, are you just gonna let her walk away? She's pretty smokin for a girl warrior", Tigerpaw grinned at the possibilities of girls. Blinking, he remember Gingerpaw... Where was she?

Eaglepaw of Fireclan
Eaglepaw lightened her smile at Cosmospaw. "Yes, I am from Fireclan. Nice to meet you Cosmospaw! I'm Eaglepaw," she smiled at the Mistclan she-cat. She smiled and flicked her tail. "Oh, lets go over to Foxpaw and Mythpaw. They look a bit lonely," she mewed quietly to her newfound friend. Eaglepaw felt someones gaze burning into her shoulders and she lifted her head to see Foxpaw glancing at her. Eaglepaw nudged Cosmospaw and bounded up to the small group. She glanced at Foxpaw but looked at Mythpaw.
Stonestream of Fireclan
He nodded when he noticed Tigerfrost sit alongside him. He smiled slightly and listened intently on the leaders words.
Jadefeather of Mistclan
She growled at the little apprentice and cuffed her ears with her paw. "Mysticpaw, the Fireclan leader is speaking. Close your mouth and be respectful," she hissed to the small apprentice. This wasn't the time to be dating a cat from another clan. It was against the warrior code. As far as her memory stretched.
