Dewkit glanced around the camp. It seemed that she was the only one in camp. Guessing everyone was out to hunt, She sniffed the air. She couldnt tell what scents were old or new, but she took the risk and slinked toward the enterance. Slinking from reed to reed, Dewkit got closer and closer to her escape. With one last burst of speed she tried to make her escape when she tripped over a shell. Dewkit meowed in surprise and went face first into the ground, she rolled a few times, getting dirt into her fur and rocks in her pads. She coughed and looked around, hoping no one saw her error in footing.

s o r r o w h o w l With a slight purr of amusement, the young warrior with ragged ears and scars and deep, passionate yellow eyes padded over to the little kitten. He'd seen her slip up, and had padded over. "The trick, Dewkit, is to not run. Then you won't hurt when you fall." said Sorrowhowl, looking down at her with a rare smile on his face. "Besides, what were you doing, ey, trying to sneak out? If Puddlestar or White-eyes catch you, you're apprentice ceremony might be delayed, and that wouldn't be good now, would it?" he grinned. ooc-- NOW PLAYING -- don't judge me for this i like the music :<

Dewkit glanced up at the warrior. His head was blocking the sun, making him look even taller to Dewkit. "I know that." She replied patiently, even tho she wanted to defend herself. She knew arguing with a warrior would only get her in more trouble then she might already be in. "I just wanted to have a look around. I never have any fun!" Glancing around again, Dewkit started cleaning the dirt out of her pelt as if nothing happened.

s o r r o w h o w l "Fun? Out there? Nooooo." Sorrowhowl said with a shake of his head. "You can have fun here. I don't remember having fun as a kit because my mum and sisters all went to StarClan when I was little, but, you can still have fun." the tom paused, wondering what to do. "How about I teach you a few fighting moves, eh? Would that be fun?"ooc-- NOW PLAYING -- don't judge me for this i like the music :<

"Your not the only one..." Dewkit retorted. She ducked her head and pawwed at the ground. "I just want to go out so bad... I'm not just a weak little kit like everyone thinks I am. I want to show everyone that im strong enough to survive and defend myself. Why cant I ever get a chance to do that?" Dewkit thought a bit; "I would like to be taught how to do a few battle moves." She perked up, "And then Ill be able to be smarter and better when I become an apprentice! Why do I have to wait so long to be an apprentice!" Dewkit complained.

s o r r o w h o w l With a smile, Sorrowhowl held out his paw. "This one is the frontal paw blow - you do it with you claws unsheathed and bonk your foe on the head, to either try and daze them, or distract them." he looked around. "Oi, Mudfur, get over here." he shouted at the brown tom who padded over. "I'll demonstrate." he grinned, and whacked the top of Mudfur's head with his sheathed paw. "...and what was that for?" "Teaching Dewkit some moves.""You know, I'mma get you back one day, you." "I know."ooc-- NOW PLAYING -- don't judge me for this i like the music :<

Dewkit watched closely, her eyes focaused intently at the playfulness of the elder cats. Theiy towered over her and she wondered briefly if she would ever get that tall. Their underlined challenged confused Dewkit but she purred with pleasure. "Can I try?" She pipped in before the cats could start attacking each other. She swipped at the air a few times and growled playfully at an invisible foe.

s o r r o w h o w l "Sure." Sorrowhowl nodded, and looked around camp. He spotted Clearpaw doing nothing. "Clearpaw, over here, now." he said. The white furred red eyed apprentice padded over. "What?" "Do you mind if you be a recipient to Dewkit? I taught her a move and I'm too big - you're about the right size." the warrior said. Clearpaw frowned, and sighed. "Sure. Okay then, Dewkit, hit me with all you've got." the tom-cat said, crouching down a little so he was shorter. ooc-- NOW PLAYING -- don't judge me for this i like the music :<

Dewkit glared at Clearpaw. "Im not that small..." She retorted. Doing what the older cat had showed her, she swatted at Clearpaw with her paw and attacked his nose.
Swatting at him she hit his neck but used to much force that she fell back because her body wouldnt hold her weight up.
Falling on her back, Dewkit scrambled up and fluffed up her fur. Huffing she sat on her back haunches and licked her front right paw and flicked it around her ear; acting as if she ment to fall backwards.

"Well, Clearpaw? I thought you didn't like kits."
Aquapaw meowed, padding out of the Apprentice's den with her golden eyes half closed. It was clear that her grayish-blue pelt was always clean and thus, looked almost like silk as she walked. Her leader, Puddlestar was her mentor, which was very odd to Aquapaw since Puddlestar was once a Medinice Cat. But being that she had never had a mentor in a while, Aquapaw didn't seem to fazed about it and simply shrugged at it.
Reaching the group of cats, Aquapaw stood beside Sorrowhowl with a flick of her tail, which flashed a dull gray in the sun's light. "What's this all about?" Aquapaw mewed, even though her voice clearly wasn't in wonder, it was in bordom.

"None of your business." Dewkit retorted. Huffing she ignored the older cats around her. Looking around the camp her attention was caught by a moving object.
Glancing at it closer Dewkit realized it was Aquapaw's tail and it flicked here and there in a smooth rythm. Watching it go up and down Dewkit envisioned a piece of prey moving before her. Before she realized it; Dewkit had hunched down and attacked Aquapaw's tail.
Jumping up in the air she landed on the fluff of fur and began batting at it with her paws and reached down to nibble on it. Laughing she got up and raced away from the cats and behind a rock, wondering if anyone would persue her or not.

Aquapaw sighed, hearing Dewkit's responds to her question and turned away, a dull look in her golden eyes. "Kits...Their only trying to be playful." She spoke quietly, only to hear something come her way and then a bite followed soon after. Letting out a small hiss, The grayish-blue she-cat wipped around to find Dewkit running to a rock and shook her head.
"First you act rude and then you bite my tail. Lovely, just lovely" Aquapaw meowed, almost being rude herself as she padded up to the kit with a smile on her face. "But yet..you remind me of myself." She added, gentle pushing Dewkit with one paw.

Dewkit felt Aquapaw's paw nudge her and she flipped over onto her back. "Hey! I'm not like you. I'm not like anybody." Dewkit meowed, puffing out her chest and batting at the apprentice.
Getting up onto her feet Dewkit thought a bit. "Hey Aquapaw. Can you take me out of the camp?" She asked the older cat hopfully. "Please?!" She began jumping around and begging the older cat. "I'll be really good! I promise!" She sat down trying to act patient and intellegent; the only thing that gave her away was her front claws that dug at the ground in excitement.
