How many minutes, how many hours, how many days, how many moons has it been since Jay was exiled, he didn't know he had lost count after a while. His beautiful grey pelt blending in with the rocks he had been sitting on, if not for his dark stripes you wouldn't have noticed him, even his nose was grey. He scanned the area, his light blue orbs looking around, they were a enchanting sky blue that could attract anyone's attention. Combined with his pelt and eyes, his slender form made him all that much more hansom, more desirable, more wanted. His muzzle curved into a dark smile that played across his face, as he watched this place in amusment, it seemed nice out here, but he missed the clan, there were so many she-cat's there, out here it was hard to find one that he could lure and trick into his trap. Jay recalled Nightwish, it was because of her that he got exiled, he was so close, so close to getting kits, that foolish she-cat so naive she made so easy to trick her, mess with her heart and then break it, but he had wanted kits first, it was thanks to a blabber mouth that his whole plan got ruined, he had been so close. But now his dreams were going to come true, he had gotten what he wanted, Nightwish was going to have his kits and when the time came he would return to Fireclan and claim the strongest of them killing the others and then raise and train him to his desire and then once again return and kill Nightwish using his own son. And then, as he recalled was Petaltail, she had made it so easy to trick her, but none of the kits in her first litter was good enough, so he killed them and got her pregnant again, soon she to would have his kits and then crush her heart once more. Ivyrain was different then the others, he thought he might truely love her, she fell for him to easily though, he considered a way to torture her, but could think of none, she was just so naive.

A limp mouse hung in her jaws, rocking slight back and forth as she scaled up the hill. Her saphire blue eyes remained down and in front of her. She had tripped on a stone a few fox-length away and was determined not to repeat her blunder again. Her blue gray pelt looked sleek in the sunlight and her muzzle, chest, and paws were snow white. But her beautiful pelt was still slightly scarred by the many battles she'd had with other rogues, mostly for meat. She had won and lost some, though they have made her wise. She was wise to avoid trouble, and wise to face those who caused trouble. She knew how to fight well and send them running away, or use her snarl and hiss to chase them away. Life as a rogue wasn't easy, but she managed. She'd been independent ever since she was a kit. She relied on no one and had seen other she-cats fall for others like some moony love dove. And she refused to let that happen to her. Her mind was set and her heart was stone cold.
Rane managed to get to the top of the hill, planning to eat at the base of the stones that were quite comfortable under the sunlight. At first, she thought it was unoccupied, but flash of darker gray and sky blue eyes caught her attention. A tom sat there calmly, his figue quite handsome, but it didn't strike her that way. To her, he was another nuisance in her life. Now she had to find another secluded spot to eat, which irked her.
Rane glared coldly at the tom with her blue eyes looking like chips of ice. How she'd love to chase him away and eat in peace at these rocks, but it was too much trouble. And she had learned to avoid trouble. Without a word, though she let out a hiss to show she wasn't pleased that he was here, Rane whipped around and was about to pad away to find another eating spot.

Jay glanced up spotting a beautiful dark grey blue pelt in the distance, a wonderful face matched the pelt as the the she-cat looked at him angerily, clearly upset by the fact that he was on the rock, but she should know better, this was his rock, because he looked so much like it, he made it his. He jumped off the rock he proclaimed to be his, because he also wanted the she-cat to be his as well, and it was the first time a she-cat had turned away from him. "Hello" He meowed gently smiling softly, his enchanting sky blue eyes staring into her icy blue ones.

"Hello"
She froze for a heartbeat and turned back to face the tom. But it wasn't a curious response, more of an irked one. Her eyes were narrowed and glaring accusingly at the gray-furred tom. She hated how his sky-blue eyes looked gentle. Like a soft-kittypetshe scoffed in her mind. To her, they were, she admitted, quite nice since they reflected the blue sky. But she didn't find it enchanting at all. Just another part of the cat she was finding irksome. Her blue-gray fur bristled slightly and her white tail-tip switched back and forth, showing her displeasure. She let her prey drop to the ground and it landed with a soft flump onto the grass. "What,"Rane responded curtly. She was prepared for the rogue to demand her piece of prey, since she's encoutered plenty of those types of rogues that couldn't even catch their own crowfood. And if he did, he would be sorry; for sharp claws and teeth were her ultimate weapon.

Jay blinked curiously looking over her, she wasn't falling for him, it was a first, it shocked him, it made him want her more, that or he really wanted to rip out her throat, he couldn't decide yet, he glanced over the she-cat, her blue-gray fur bristled, even right down to the white tip which showed off how much she didn't like him, but he would change that soon enough, "Well good morning to you to Sunshine" he chuckled a bit. He looked away a bit his sky blue eyes looking slightly darker now, his fur was smooth the way it normally was, the perfectly shaped stripes in his light grey fur. He smiled a bit, looking back at her, "A hello back would have been nice" he added.

Rane continued to stare critically at the rogue, not even a hint of a smile crossed her lips or glint of amusement shine in her eyes as he sarcastically called her "Sunshine". On the other hand, she did utter a silent hiss, showing her intolerance for the tom.
"A hello back would have been nice"
The she-cat's saphire blue eyes hardened. It seemed to her that the tom was trying to maybe seduce her. This displeased her. She hated toms like that. She didn't believe in having a mate. She was an independent cat and preferred to be that way. Besides, she had friends who've had their hearts broken by toms they still loved even today. She just couldn't understand why they were so desperate.
"Right, I'll keep in mind to say "hello" the next time I see another cat,"she replied coldly. "Now are you going to stop talking and let me leave?"Rane asked with an edge in her voice, full of impatience.

Jay smirked a bit he liked this cat more and more by the minute, but sadly his charms weren't working at all so he decided to go with something else, he lost his smile, the look in his eyes became a dark one, his pelt was still the same, "I don't know" He meowed his voice as sharp and dangerous as the she-cats, "I find you rather amusing" he meowed darkly, "The name is Jay the exile" he said rather fond of his name that he had been given, it suited him very well, many she-cats knew of his name, he wondered if she was one of them, but it didn't matter he would still make her his. "What might your name be?" He asked.

Rane became aware that the rogue's friendliness was replaced by a more cold demeanor, almost like he was mirroring her. Is he mocking me?she thought, clenching her teeth though not showing them yet. It wasn't time to act aggressive toward him yet. "Tch, but I don't find anything attractive in you furball,"the blue-gray she-cat snapped back, her dark eyes slitted.
""The name is Jay the exile," she repeated with a voice full of skeptic tone. One eyebrow cocked up. "Right...last I checked us rogues are all exiles. That's pretty much what "rogue" means,"she replied with a high sarcastic edge. This is something Rane tended to do, to smart aleck back sarcastically to those she feels dislike towards.
"What might your name be?"
"Oh am I supposed to have a title too? I guess you can call me Rane the outcast,"the she-cat replied sarcastically, actually allowing a sardonic smile play across her lips. Feeling hungry, she bent down and began to eat the mouse, not caring if Jay reacted to it or not.

Jay chuckled, "I said amusing, not attractive" He said point that put because he could, he merely felt like it, he was in an pointy sorta mood, he was feeling rather cheerful after attacking Petaltail and Nightwish, and he had just let Ivyrain go back, he would go back to her, because she was still useful to him, he looked at Rane as she called herself, it was true, but he had earned his title more so then any other, most she-cats tremble or faint upon hearing his full name, but then just end up lost in his eyes, voice and looks, he was wonderful at manipulating cats, and he was determinded to somehow win over this she-cat. "Well Hello Rane" he said basically ignoring her notes of sarcasim, he was rather sadistic, and she would soon find out why.

Rane's head remained down as she chewed her food, but allowed her dark blue eyes to glance up as Jay spoke. She rolled her eyes in response to his repeated greeting, this time with her name. Quickly demolishing the mouse in a few rapid bites, mostly wary that Jay would steal her prey before she could finish. Her tongue swiped around her maw, licking off traces of flesh from her whiskers. Her eyes narrowed at Jay, who was still sitting before her, his eyes having a calm blue in them, contrast to her dark and icy ones. She resumed to groom herself, licking a paw and drawing it over her ears, though keeping one eye on Jay in case he tried anything. She noted his lean muscles under his smooth pelt, though not undaunted by it. Rane wasn't afraid to fight him, if it came to that. The blue-gray she-cat knew she could defend herself, maybe she'll lose, but she won't be some helpless she-cat. Ever since she was a kit and growing up with some friends, she'd seen how some became helpless to love and some didn't have their love returned, reducing them to pitiful creatures grovelling at the toms' paws. Rane was determined to remain independent. And if she would ever have feelings for someone, she wouldn't become his lackey. She would retain her independent and stubborn demeanor no matter what. A breeze picked up upwind, and Jay's scent was blown towards her. The she-cat stiffined as she detected fresh scents of musky smells and a tang of the river. Clan territory, she pinpointed, flicking her tail. "You've been inside the Clans haven't you?"Rane asked sharply, a suspicious growl rising in her throat.

Jay watched her groom herself warily, it was like she was expecting him to attack, or steal her mouse before she was finished, but he wasn't hungry and he had no reason to attack, her own paranoia only added to his list of things he found amusing, it was a rather long sadistic list. "And if I had?" Jay asked at first, not even bothering to wait for her answer he nodded a bit, "They are amusing to torment, I used to belong to one till I was exiled like all rogues" he pointed out at her snide comment eariler, but he merely smirked, "I've been bothering them ever since" he said.

Rane paused her washing and set her paw down and then looked over Jay critically. "Well a Clan who turned rogue,"she commented with a sneer. "What have you done to make them banish you you naughty cat?"Rane meowed with a smirk.
"I have no quarrel with Clan cats. They leave me alone I leave them alone,"the blue gray she-cat meowed with a casual flick of her tail. The she-cat was feeling bored by the conversation with the tom. Nothing interested her about this tom. Just another rogue she met today that she probably wouldn't see again. This is the life of a rogue.

"I tried to kill my Mate" Jay said simply smirking, it had a been a very interesting fight between them, but she should have never said no, "If that stupid tom hadn't gotten in the way" he growled angrily. It was true, he had tried to kill her, but he had failed only because he lost his temper he fought nearly the whole clan off but a few started to get really despreate and got the best of him. He swore silently under his breath, how he hated Nightwish, he would return soon, oh so soon.

"Oh that's new,"Rane commented, not even fazed by the fact. That's pretty much what love-sick she-cats get. Either a broken heart, or death.she thought grimly to herself. "Usually it's killing a leader or something,"the blue-gray she-cat meowed, flicking her tail.
A small chuckel came out as she heard Jay growl angrily. "Seems like you're not such a great fighter as you thought you might be,"Rane meowed, an amused glint in her ice-blue eyes. Suddenly a loud screaming interrupted the two and Rane whipped around, fur bristling. A few fox-length away, a Twoleg kit was hobbling towards them, a delighted smile upon her face and paws outstreatched. "Fox-dung!"Rane hissed, claws unsheathed.

Jay was about to make a snide comment when something burst out of the bushes, he hissed a bit, his fur bristle, he cursed under his breathe, he was tempted to attack but instead decided upon better tactics, he moved swiftly away to watch and observe, it was better to get to learn your enemy before attacking them, he wondered how Rane would fair in this. He watched with his sky blue eyes amused, would Rane really fight, if so who would be the winner?

Rane barely registered when Jay left. Her attention was all on the approaching Twoleg, snarling a warning. But for some reason, the Twoleg kit didnt' seem to get the message for he continued to advance with arms outstreatched. Every muscle in her body told her to run, but Rane's stubborn mind refused to listen. Her claws unsheathed and she let out another menacing growl. A hand came towards her and the blue-gray she-cat quickly weaved to one side, ready to sink her claws into the pink flesh. However, she forgot about the other hand which instantly grabbed her, causing her to loose her footing. The other hand managed to grasp her and the Twoleg had Rane in his clutched around the middle. Rane let out a screech of rage and writhed and twisted, her claws flailing the empty air and her teeth trying to snap at the Twoleg who held her away so she only injured empty air. The Twoleg let out a delighted laugh before tromping off, kidnapping Rane.

Jay chuckled as he watched Rane be carried away and he laughed his fur off. He found it so amusing that a little two-leg managed to get a cat like her, oh but what would she do now? She was kiddnapped, could she escape on her own, no well he could help her. Jay could also leave her to be dealt with, on the other hand she would owe him big time for helping her. Jay nodded his grey fur with darker grey stripes bristled as he jumped up and ran after the two-leg, his sky blue eyes posted them easily enough, he took off after them, and ran into the two-leg hoping to startle it enough that it would drop Rane.

In her state of shock and rage, she managed to register a piercing laughter that wasn't the Twoleg's. She could detect a purr of malicious laughter and craned her neck to see Jay, glaring and snarling at him, her ice-blue eyes glaring at him like piercing daggers.
Laugh all you want fox-dung!she thought furiously in her mind, still writhing around in the Twoleg's grasp as she tried to escape. I'll escape and that'll wipe that smug off your face! The blue-gray she-cat craned her neck and tried to snap her teeth at its soft fleshy paws but the Twoleg kept a firm grip around her middle, making her efforts futile. She'd have to wait for the perfect time to strike. Sooner or later, the Twoleg will have to let her go, and she'd take the chance to unleash all her fury on it.
Suddenly, she caught the flash of gray fur before the Twoleg also noticed it. It let out a yell of surprise. Rane instantly felt the loosened grip and quickly wriggled free. To her discontent, though grudgingly a bit grateful, Jay had saved her. Without hesitation, Rane had revenge on her mind and quickly darted in to give the Twoleg a sharp nip around its hind legs.

Jay smirked and sat down watching the surprised two-leg loosen it's grip and Rane wiggle free, it had been worth it see an almost grateful look in her eyes, compared to the dangerous glare she shot at him while he was laughing it was rather amusing. He watched her nip the two-leg and wondered what the two-leg would do. He moved away a little bit so that the two-leg would grab him instead then he'd have to owe Rane a favour, that is if she would save him, which he had high doubts about.

The Twoleg let out a yowl of pain as her teeth slashed the flesh and blood dribbled down. The Twoleg glared at her and then extended its paws towards her, she quickly veered to one side, determined not to make the same mistake twice as she dodged the second hand. However, she realized that the hand was concentrated on Jay before they grabbed him. "That idiot..."the blue-gray she-cat muttered, preparing for Jay to defend himself. If he did, it'd save Rane the trouble. Would I want to save him?she thought, half-heartedly replying with a mental "yes".

Jay snarled caught by surprise in watching her, he hissed as the paw grabbed him and pouted rather quite angrily. He struggled a thrashed hoping to make it let go. He had never run into a two-leg out here before, well he had once, but he had easily scared it off then, by making loud noises in the bush he had been hidden in, like he was some kind of ferious badger or something. It had been very amusing to see it's face. Jay glared at the two-leg and pawed at it.

Rane let out a snort of amusement to see Jay in the clutches of the Twoleg this time. Yea, it wasn't a good time, but hey, why should Jay laugh at her and not she? I supposed I should help himshe thought. The least she could do after he saved him. With that in mind, the she-cat bunched up her muscles and took a flying leap, her claws grasping the Twoleg's forearm. It let out a squeal of pain and tried to shake her off, stomping about and loosening his grip on Jay. "Let's go mouse-brain!"Rane hissed between a mouthful of Twoleg flesh. Not waiting to see if Jay would follow or not, the blue-gray she-cat quickly lept off.

Jay looked around rather angry, he had been deeply upset that the Two-leg had caught him, but even more now so that Rane had saved him, he had wanted to get out himself that way he would use his rescue against her, but now they were even and he had nothing. Although he had to admit he was rather surprised when she saved him. His sky blue eyes watched her take off, he slipped out of the two-legs grip and ran after her, not bothering to look back if the two-leg was following or not.

Rane kept on running, even after the cries of the Twoleg became a mere echo that died as she and Jay drew further away. Until she was sure that she had kept a good distance between her and the Twoleg did she stop to catch her breath. Thankfully, the Twoleg was smart enough not to follow them or the blue-gray she-cat would've made some deep scar on the insolent Twoleg's skin.
Her ears pricked up to listen for any signs of the Twoleg, or any other danger. Meanwhile, Rane bent her head down and licked the tufts of fur that sprouted out of her usually well-groomed pelt. The tussle with the Twoleg made it all messy. The bitter taste of Twoleg clung to her fur where the Twoleg had grabbed her, making her nose wrinkle in disgust, but she forced herself to wash off the putrid scent. "Ugh, I hate Twolegs. Mouse-brained creatures..."she muttered.

Jay was gravely upset, he wanted to tear apart the little monster of a two-leg, grabbing him like that, it was outrageous! He hissed darkly, his sky blue eyes flaring wildly as he did. He stopped with her the cries of the two-leg died out soon enough as they had gotten farther and farther away. He looked around quietly and soon let his fur flatten out, it had been bristled for the longest time, he soon groomed it till it was very quite flat. Then he gazed around curiously, "I couldn't agree with you more" he meowed rather quietly, his voice was holding back clear and sheer anger as he was tempted to kill something, maybe find another she-cat and torture her a bit, perhaps pay a visit to Petaltail or Nightwish.. What to do what to do.

Rane finally calmed down as her heartbeat slowed to a steady rhythm and her short breaths became normal. Her fur finally stopped bristling so much, yet it didn't flatten completely. She still felt wary about being around Jay. She had her suspicions about him, yet he had saved her, maybe laughed at her while she was being kidnapped, but at least he saved her. Grudgingly, she had to accept his favor and appreciate it too. Her tail flicked in discontent as she thought of this. "Um...thanks for saving me..."she muttered, though it was a reluctant thank you. She never really liked submitting to toms.

Jay nodded a bit when they finally managed to calm down, he wasn't a big fan of well two-legs to be truthful, he disliked the completely, how could kittypets stand them! Ugh kittypets, even if he hadn't been clan born he wouldn't have liked them, always strutting around like they know they are fat but still always want attention. He can't stand them. Jay nodded at her, he still like her, still wanted her to be his, but something had changed now, it wasn't the same, he was feeling less like he should. "Your welcome" he meowed, before adding a thanks of his own, "Thank you as well" he meowed.

Rane gave him a wry smile. Suddenly, a stab of pain shot up her paw and she let out an involuntary yelp of pain. Looking down, she saw that her paw was dripping with wet blood. Raising it gingerly, she realized she had painfully wrenched a claw. For a heartbeat, she stared at it, a little dumbfounded that she hadn't noticed until now. The ordeal with the the Twoleg must've caused it to get injured when she clawed the Twoleg. She had been concetrating so much on getting away that she hadn't realized she was injured. Letting our a hiss of exasperation, she licked her bloody paw, wrinkling her nose in disgust at the salty, iron taste. Who knew Twolegs could cause this much trouble.
Rane let her paw rest on the earth gingerly, but a fiery pain shot up her leg as she tried to put weight on it, causing her to stumble and accidentally lean on Jay.

Jay looked at her wound, he loved the sight of blood, it made him all happy and excited, not so much on another tom, but on a she-cat it just jolted something inside of him, making him want to see more, wanting to see her covered with blood. He pushed away the thoughts instantly so as not to draw attention, the look in his Sky blue eyes was calm and collected. "Need help?" he meowed seductively in her ear when she leaned on him, it was a habit of his and he just help himself the scent set him off once again, it would soon enough, he smiled at Rane jokingly of course, but he really did want to help.

Rane let out a frustration, almost like a warning. She tried to quickly draw away from him, but the pain didn't allow her to. If even more, her weight "If I wasn't hurt, I'd claw that smug off your face,"she muttered, shifting her weight a little. She still had to lean on Jay for support, much to her distaste. The blue gray she-cat lifted her paw gingerly, feeling the fiery pain burn her paw as blood dripped slowly from the wrenched claw. "I don't suppose you know how to handle this do you?"the she-cat meowed with a grimace, starting to lick up the blood.
