Hopepaw sat by herself out here in the berry bushes, it was the only place she felt safe, and she couldn't help but hate camp, she hated the dens, she hated the apprentices den. Perhaps that was the reason, that den, most likely because Mythpaw slept in the same den and it was so close to the nursery she could just explode, and plus she was in a very hateful mood. The empty space beside her, killed her, she longed to have her best friend here with her, almost everywhere she went it taunted her that her mother had abandoned her to die and she never got to say good bye to him, execpt here. Here she felt peaceful, like Sockpaw was sitting beside her everywhere in the lovely smelling bushes. But even her in her safe getaway she still could not smile, the hate and the coldness that filled her was to strong, her past mingled with things that once made her happy, now meant nothing to her. Hopepaw's very light pale blue eyes searched around, she let out a sigh and was glad no one was around, she looked down at the berries, tempted to eat one.
Hopepaw sighed and looked down at herself, her lovely light brown fur covered with darker brown stripes, even in the light of day had a beautiful moonlit glow to it, she was a beautiful she-cat she couldn't help but be one dispite her hate for most other she-cats, some were okay, but Queens and anyone who acted like her mother she just couldn't stand, it was insane. For right now, she was just glad to be alone, but it would be nice to have some company.

Beastpaw wandered through the borders, er smile plastered to her face. She had just returned to camp, having had a good day yesterday with one called Streakpaw. However, confusion soon came over her face. She cocker her head at the shaking berrie tree. She scented someone in it, and lifted her gaze to it. Hey, come out of their! Are you an intruder? I'll rip your throat out if you are! Beatspaw snarled, her eyes gazing into the unknown.

Hopepaw blinked a bit, she glanced out icily towards the voice, it was female and it was shouting at her, intruder her right paw. She rolled her very pale light blue eyes and poked her head out of the bush, her favourite hidding spot was inside them, the sun always peeked through and the whole bush shone from inside, it was her home away from lonely home. Her safey and her change to get away, but now she was found and that upset her. "Do I look like an intruder Beastpaw?" She hissed a bit, looking down at herself, her light golden brown fur covered with stripes, she was easily noticed in camp, mainly because of her eyes the strange souless blue made her seem very lifeless, but this she cat was full of life, which made her question her name, she wanted it to be changed, something darker perhaps, that would be nice wouldn't it. Hopepaw sighed a bit, Beastpaw was okay, she wasn't like Mythpaw or Featherdancer which made her okay, not great, not lovely, just okay, they weren't friends, yet or anything, but her trust was growing a little.

Beastpaw was still crouched, when she saw a familiar face walk out. She dropped her position, and just stared blankely. Her eyes rolled at Hopepaw's sarcastic tone, hissing through her teeth. Beastpaw looked p, as though bored, then went back down.
"What you got hiding in therE? Or, are you just hinding from someone? Something? Could it be..."]/b] Beastpaw pretended to gasp. "Me?!" She asked sarcastically now. Every cat in the friggen clan thought they were high and mighty. However, Beastpaw was no exception!

Hopepaw rolled her eyes, "Oh yes of course" She meowed, "because I just happen to know you were coming so I dove in the bush" She said sarcastically, Beastpaw was okay, she was nice and easy to talk with, in a high and mighty sorta way. She wasn't overly...sweet. Hopepaw hated that whole overly sweet thing, think they know everything when they don't! Beastpaw was a bit different, she was over-the-top just like she was, but in different ways, Hopepaw was more cold and dark. Hopepaw sighed a bit, it would be interesting to hear her reaction.

Beastpaw snickered and rolled on her back. She was overracting, yes. But, she sounded so silly! Beastpaw gathered herself, and sat up again. Then, as though on que, she began to speak, words flawless and oh-so-hopeless. "Eh, you admitted it. Wait until everyone hears you ran from someone like me!" Beastpaw pretended to roar, a growl coming out instead.
Then, after a few moments of silence, spoke up again. "Just kidding. But, I'd have anyone running away from me! I beat-" She cut herself off, not wantnig to share this info. No, and even if she asked, she'd refuse to answer.

Hopepaw sighed and rolled eyes, "Of course" She meowed quietly, she wasn't in the mood to insult right now, though she really did want to at least throw one in. But she decided not to because well, her mood was spoiled, she didn't feel like it right now, and plus she was just starting to relax, no sense ruining that. Hopepaw glanced at Beastpaw, 'Just beat?" She asked curiously wondering what the other half of that sentance was, her very pale light blue eyes flashed a look of curiousity.

Beastpaw looked at Hopepaw with a confused expression. Then, she turned her head and muttered under her breath. You mihgt wanna thing about protecting yourself, you know. She whispered, under her breath, wondering if Hopepaw had heard it or not.
Then, she snapped her head up. I didn't finish the sentance, it wasn't meant to come out. Frget it, it's none of your buisness! Beastpaw hissed, now feeling guilt for her actions. She shook her head. She missed him. Alot. And, wanted to meet him again.

Hopepaw nodded her head, "Sure i'll think about that after Meadowcloud gets out of the clouds" She snarled a bit lowly more to herself then anyone else, she also said it so Beastpaw couldn't hear. "Well if you weren't sopposed to say it why bother saying it at all?" She meowed a bit paranoid now, she wasn't in the mood for it. She looked at Beastpaw, "never mind that" She added afterwards. She looked back to her berry bush and slipped inside.

((Sorry i'm late XP))
One bush was still, no rustling whatsoever. Suddenly, gray ears poked out on top, and a tail stuck from behind, giving the bush a funny appearance. One of the ears twitched, as voices drifted over through air. The tail flicked, in a hesitant way. Then an eye shined within the bush and out poked a head that belonged to none other than Skypaw. One of his eyes was a warm sky-blue color, full of curiousity as he heard the voices. The other was clouded like fog, the one that gave him a vision that was half-blind. Yet his view of the world was black and white. No colors entered his vision, and what colars are is a mystery to this color-blind tom. But for now, he wasn't wondering about what blue or red was. Now he was curious by the voices.
His whole body lept lightly out of the bushes, though a few twigs and leaves stuck to his pelt. Giving himself a quick shake so that his fluffy pelt was free of those, he quickly trotted towards the voices. Then figures that formed into two young she-cats came within his view. "Hi guys!"Skypaw called to them with a friendly flick of his tail.

Beastpaw snickered at the reply. Must be her mentor. Then, she looked at Hopepaw again, an snickered more. She was ceertinaly a reliable one! Beastpaw watched her as her words came out, and she hissed. Maybe you shouldn't worry about it. Beastpaw growled.
She went niside her bush. What was her problem?! Beastpaw jumped in it after her, looking at the branches and stuff. It was quiet the place. I think imma kick it in here for awhile, you know. Use it almost like you. I won't hide in here, but I'll definitly think in here...
Beastpaw's ears prickled up, and she looked at the bush, then jumped out. Hi, Skypaw! She purred. She'dseen him around, and wondered what Hopepaw though of her treating him this way compared to her.

Hopepaw was laying on her back looking up at the sun through the bush, the glanced over at Beastpaw and nodded, "Whatever" She said, "It is a free bush" She meowed sarcastically, she still felt it was her hidding spot, and hers alone, but it wasn't like she was going to stop Beastpaw, she was a BEAST, she rolled her eyes at the thought of it. "And I'm not hiding" She snapped, she really wasn't she was just relaxing. "Hi Skypaw" She meowed, she found that Skypaw, being a tom was okay, more so then all other females, but Beastpaw was alright a bit annoying but okay. But in truth she liked Darkpaw the best.

"Why are you guys in a bush?"he asked curiously, tilting his head to the side. True, he had been in the shelter of a bush earlier too, but for a good reason. The young tom had only hid within the bush to make as a camoflauge when prey came by. For he didn't know if his fur would blend into the grass, for he saw the grass as a gray mass. The only option for him was to lie and wait within the branches. But these two she-cats didn't look like they were hunting, just hanging out.
Skypaw also entered the bush, wriggling in, feeling the branches and twigs tug him uncomfortably. He almost came nose to nose with a berry but stopped just in time. "Berries?"he mewed, examining one closely. "This isn't a deathberry bush is it?"Skypaw asked anxiously, cringing away and bristling his fur warily.
