Duskstar sat patiently on the tallest rock out of the four. His tail tip twiched. Where were the other Clans? He looked up at the sky. The full moon was still out, shining bright. No, The Clans were still coming. There wasn't a cloud out. Cats around him talked to each other, waiting. It was strange. It has been moons since he had seen Demonscars. Yes, he was a ambitious cat, but he was a wonderful deputy. The Clan mourned him. ..Or so he thought.
Duskstar sniffed the air. Yes! The other Clans were coming. Finally!
((Hhm.. I want to have a little prey qurral with a Clan. Like MistClan has found prey remains, and blames another Clan. But it's like a loner/kittypet/rogue. Any vollunteers?))

Twilightstar came out. She walked to her spot and sat as the other moonclan cats fanned out. "Sorry. Are we late?" She asked the other leader quietly. Still as shy as ever. Appletree sat down right were she was, looking around. Everyone seemed to be talking to someone... but her. she felt alone. This was the first time it really hit her. She didn't have any friends. Why was she just noticing it now? She felt her eyes water a bit. she blinked them back. Not in front of others. She bit her lip, trying to hold her emotions back. She was normally happy person. Maybe seeing other cats made her really think. but it wasn't her first gathering. This was weird. Waterpaw stayed by Puddleleaf. She loved gatherings. they where so fun. To bad Wolfpaw stayed behind to keep Starrypaw company. he seemed to like gatherings to. Spiderfang kind of stayed in the shadows. Like Appletree... he didn't have any friends. Just him. he didn't mind though. He looked at Appletree. Something seemed to be wrong. ((These could be the prey stealers shadefeather.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=acceptedcats&action=display&thread=145 we haven't used them yet)) |

((Ooo Ya, that would be great!!! :] )) Duskstar dipped his head in greeting. He always had respected Twilightstar. "No, We're just early" he reply smoothly. A small, slender gray dappled she-cat padded around. There weren't any cats that seemed friendly enough to talk to,.. at the time. Emberclaw looked at the starry night but suddenly smelled a ShadowClan scent. She looked in front of her, just to collide head-on with another she-cat, Appletree. ((Since we don't have a FireClan leader, they'll just not show up. More the reason to suspect FireClan is stealing prey  )) |

"Oh, Okay." Twilightstar said. She looked at the sky, closing her eyes slightly. She loved night.
Appletree made an oof sound when she was hit. She quickly shook herself. "I'm sorry." She said, looking at the other cat, making sure the cat was okay. Appletree blinked a few times to make it look like she just had something in her eye.
Spiderfang couldn't help but laugh a like. Wow. Cats these days. His dad would have told him a story about how if a cat ran into him in the old days... But his father was gone and deserved what came to him. Spiderfang didn't notice his claw digging into the dirt.

Duskstar looked out into the night. Where were the other leaders? If they didn't come soon they would have to start the gathering without them. Their loss.
"Your sorry!? I should be the one appologizing! I'm the one who ran into you! I guess I didn't see where I was going" The she-cat rushed, embarresed. She shook herself, sending bits of grass off her pelt. "I'm Emberclaw" She said. "From MistClan."
She smiled. "Sorry, again. I hope your ok..?"

"I'm fine." Appletree said. "I'm Appletree.... from MoonClan." She said. She smiled "I was a little out of it too." She laughed at herself. she sounded like a freak.
Spiderfang decided that just standing here was boring. Maybe he could have a little fun. He walked over to the 2 she-cats. He shock his fur, trying to look as handsome as possible. He stopped next to Appletree. "Hello Appletree. Who's your friend?" he asked.
Appletree was kind of shocked to hear Spiderfang's voice. He never talks to her. It was weird. "Ummm this is Emberfang."

"Emberclaw." She corrected gently. She looked at Spiderfang. He didn't seem to familiar. "Um..Hi" She meowed to him. What an awkward moment.

Spiderfang laughed a little. Nice,
Appletree looked at Spiderfang, wondering what he thought was so funny. She shock it off then said. "Spiderfang recently lost his father to a tragic badger attack."
Spiderfang was confused then remembered what he told his clan about his fathers death.

Just then Branchstar along with his clan came. H joined the other leaders and said "sorry we usually wait for fireclan but they didnt come. shall we begin?"

A she-cat turned and looked at Spiderfang and rolled her eyes. By the smell of it she was from MistClan. She turned back to the leaders.
Duskstar let out a yowl, announcing the start of the Gathering. He stepped forward. "MistClan is doing fine this Newleaf." he meowed, his voice ringing over the silent cats below. "Fish have been plentyful and Twolegs haven't been to our territory in their strange green pelts yet this year. The Willow River tide is up, from all the rainstorms we have been having. Our camp is fine, some of our territory is soggy though, but it brings more prey.We sespect that FireClan might have some problems with the river so high. Their land is more level than ours. Perhaps that is why they haven't shown up tonight. And, Speaking of FireClan, they just might be cowards for not showing up." Duskstars voice becoming a low snarl. "We think that they have been stealing prey from our territory" He looked to the other leaders and nodded, saying his turn was done. His eyes still glittered with rage.

Twilightstar looked shocked. "Why would Fireclan steal from you? They seem to have lots of prey every moon. Why now?" Twilightstar questioned. she did believe that Fireclan might have problems with the river... but they have to much respect to steal from other clans. Why would they now?
((I thought Mistclan was having problems with someone stealing prey and they blame it on Fireclan.))

Duskstar shurgged. "We have been finding multiple prey remains. It isn't MistClan scent on it, and we always find it on our side of the border we share with FireClan. MistClan prey. Also, everytime we find these leftover kills, a FireClan patrol was always there first. It must be FireClan!"

Branchstar didnt exspress any emotion. He didt really care about anything else except his clan and their happiness at the moment. Since no other leader was talking he took the stand. "Dawnclan is well. the rabbits are running, and luckilly the flood has not really taken hold of us"

Twilightstar looked up to the stars, thanking Starclan for a calm gathering, then leaped down from her place. "Lets go." She said smoothly as she walked back to her clan.
