Forgotten Memories(( Open))

Mango was truly amused by the toms. They really showed what they kept inside to her, but they did not realize that. She kept that as a secret quietly, letting them talk like stupid whining she-cats. That certainly made her day. Scar asked her about joining them on the journey. A few days ago, she would not think twice to join other's company, but ahh, why not? She would have some fun with them.

She told them, "Ah, sure. Why not?" Raising an eyebrow after Scar's departing presence, a small smile broke out on her lips. Looking back at Shadow, she asked him, "Is he always like this?"

Shadow shook his head, listening to Scar talk on and on about Mango joining them. At one paw, Shadow wouldn't mind Mango since he wouldn't have to hear Scar try to talk to him half the time. But on the other paw, having a female following them would be a change in pace and shadow hated changes. The black tom even twiched his torn ear when hearing Mango's voice agreeing to join them and suddenly wanted yowl in anger. But, being his emo self, stayed silent and just nodded.

As Scar took his leave, Shadow flicked his ears at Mango's question and sighed. "Sadly, He is always like that. That is why I don't talk to him much." He huffed, turning his head back to Mango with one eyebrow raised. "Are you sure you want to come with us?" He questioned her, still unsure about how things would go.

"Sure, I will join you guys. If I find you guys boring, I could always drop out and travel on my own," Mango explained quickly. She began to groom her paws, keeping them clean. The fish was between her paws. Bending down, she devoured it with a few delicious bites. "The fish tasted so good." Licking her muzzle, she began to rub her paw on her face. She tried to keep her face pretty since no rouges ever called her pretty. Beauty never mean anything to her, but secretly, she wished to be called beautiful or anything meaningful. Sneaking in a small smile for herself, she glanced at Shadow, "So, we go with Scar now?"

Shadow flicked his torn ear back and turned his head to where Scar had left, his long black tail slowly moving back and forth like a father clock. He couldn't understand why Mango wanted to follow them, let alone tag along and something told him to say no. But at the same time, he felt a feeling that he never had in quite a while and slowly turned his head back to the gray tabby, who was grooming herself. Like? Somewhat Like? or is it something more? These questions buzzed in his head for a moment and as the black tom watched the she-cat, he had never noiced the striking glow of her pelt or her markings that gave her figure more beauty then before. It took the tom about two blinks before pulling his eyes to the sky, lashing his tail once before returning his sight to Mango with a huff.


Hearing Mango's question though, Shadow narrowed his eyes abit before getting to his paws with a another lash of his tail. "Sure, I guess. I don't care really." He grumbled, back in his ususal mood again and flicked his tail over to the path that Scar left on. "You can go first." He added, flicking his torn ear back again with a short nod.

(OOC:What do you think Apple? Should Shadow and Mango be together or will this bomb out like every other cat lovers?)

((I was thinking of the same thing. They should be friends at first. Mango is difficult to get along with because of her trust issues. They could be like, hide their feelings from each other, until they finally admit that they love each other. That will take a long time...We will see. Let's watch what will happen.))

Raising an eyebrow, she stopped grooming and said, "You can go first." With her bad experiences living with the rouges, she dislike being followed. She dislikes it when a cat follow her close behind. It gave her creeps. She would not show the fear. Not now. Fear only make you look weak. She do not want to look weak now. Not now. Then something swept in her mind. She told him, "Never mind. I can go first."

Taking a step forward the path where Scar was gone, Mango stole another smile. Shadow is just like other rogues, mysterious and sullen. He should be happy, but Mango did not care. He could feel whatever he want to. However, she could not ignore a feeling. A feeling of...No, no, no. Trust? No, she can't lie her trust to anyone. She already learned that lesson. It was tough holding all emotions inside, but she mastered it over the moons being spent with her two stupid brothers.

Shadow rolled his eyes abit as Mango said that he should go first and flicked his torn ear back with a look of discuss on his face. What? Are you scared or something? Scared of me attacking you? He thought, his tail lashing abit before stopping in mid-air as he heard the gray tabby speak again. Shadow narrowed his eyes abit, suddenly annoyied again with his tail falling to the ground, making a small thud noise behind it. He could not get it. Why would she-cats say one thing, then turn around and say something else? The black tom couldn't make heads or tails about that part and shook his head with a slight hiss.

"She-cats. Way too confusing." Shadow mumbled to himself, padding behind Mango with his long black tail dragging behind him. But that same feeling kept nawing at his pelt, so much so that he had to begin thinking up something to keep his mind straight. Why was he feeling this? He should be feeling hate and anger at everything around him, but why now?
If only he could find out the question to that, hanging over his head like an annoying bee buzzing over and over again. Hissing silently and with a flick of his ears, Shadow caught the scent of Scar, not far off of where they were. "We're close." He spoke, his voice still rough in tone.

Mango resist an urge to scowl at Shadow. He was being mean and rude to her. What a gentletom, she scoffed at the sarasatic thought. After all, everyone had been not nice to her all her life so she got used to it. When she heard him utter, she-cats, she rolled her eyes and let out a dramatic sigh, "Toms."

Catching up with him, she sniffed the air, "No, we are not close." She pointed her tail toward the air. The wind changed directions. Shadow must caught the wrong scent. A dirty trick of the winds. Trying hard not to laugh at his idiotic mistake, she moved on, walking a few steps ahead of him.

He was one of the few toms that never liked to make mistakes, always proving to other cats that they were smarter then them. But that wasn't Shadow, it was far more different then that. Ignoring Mango for a moment, the black tom moved away from the gray tabby and wandered off in another dreiction with a small frown on his face. He had a habit of doing this, wandering off for no reason but he mostly did it just to cool off and calm himself. As Shadow padded on, he noiced that he was far from the she-cat and slowly came to a stop with a flick of his torn ear. I wonder..did she noice yet? The black tom thought, his hard yellow eyes scanning the area for a bit before a smirk appeared on his muzzle. Taking a wild guess that Mango didn't noice him leave, the tom once again moved into the darkness with his eyes now narrowed. Even though daylight was still around, most of the patches in the area were covered in shadows and made a prefuct cover for the black tom. His body moved as sly as a fox and his paws barely made a sound, moving under the cover of darkness with his narrowed eyes barely even visable to a cat's eye. He was already nearing her and could even smell Scar's scent, this time much more closer and smiled. Your nearly there. Shadow thought, pausing every once in a while before going foward again. He was aware that his sceat would give him away, but it didn't matter. As long as he kept an eye on her.

Ignoring Shadow's disapperance, Mango rolled her eyes and kept moving forward. Even she knew he was hiding from her, she was not scared of him. She was already too used to her brothers creeping behind her back. Giving an annoyed flick of her tail, she could smell him. "I know you are there. You don't scare me."

She saw Scar in a few fox lengths away. Padding closer, she called after him, "Scar!"

Scar's ears twitched as he heard his name called. He turned his head looking to see Mango as she padded closer to him. He sat quietly looking towards her, noticing that Shadow had taken to disappearing. He let the funny thought that Shadow was enjoying himself play upon his thoughts. Mango had obviously had a more cheerful personality than him and so Shadow saw to being more open. "Yes, Mango?" He mewed tossing a glance back towards the she-cat.
