It's night time. Everything in the moor was quiet, the camp barely making a sound and the moon's light gently hitting the grassy blades. Well, everyone except young Soulheart. He was once again awake, his dark green eyes barely visable in the darkness of the warrior's den and he was clearly in pain. Another nightmare had plaged his mind, keeping him from having a good night's rest and now has to force himself to keep awake. But he wasn't as tired has he thought he was, curled up with his head up. No, he was use to this and had to deal with this on his own. He couldn't even tell his sister, who was sleeping close to his nest and fast asleep. And yet he calls himself a brother. Letting out a silent sigh, the tan and white tom slowly uncurled his body and made his way out of the den. Soulheart was able to make slow moving steps, to keep from waking the others but his nose began to twitch and let out a small sneeze ."Mouse dung." He mewed quietly before exiting the den. The moon's glow reached his eyes, making them look like the forest dew and slowly made his way to the middle of camp with his spiked tail dragging behind him. His pelt gave off a faint glow as he moved to the center of camp and each step he did, his ears twitched ever so slighty. Then lifting his head to the star covered sky, sat down with his tail slowly wrapping around his paws. His nightmare, always reminding him of what happened to his parents. "Mother, Father....Are you watching us? I hope things are ok up there..." Soulheart mewed, his voice barely a whisper as he gazed at the star above. A sound however, made him twitch abit and let out a heavy sigh. Now what? He thought quietly, half closing his eyes but dared not to move.

Nightsong, she was a beautiful queen, her pelt as black as night with cream lines in it. Her tail, face and paws covered with creamy lines. She wasn't just beautiful, she was also sweet and understanding. Her kindness the opposite of what her sister, Greenpaw's had been, her sister had been wild and headstrong, and quite stubborn, but she was sick and soon fell into depression. Nightsong missed her sister sometimes. She often didn't look like she missed her, but she really did, on the inside. She almost dreamed of her every night.
Nightsong tried not to, but she ended up doing it nearly all the time. She awoke in her den. She lived in the nursery, because she was a queen. Her mate Greyshrew had died a while ago, and she was carrying his kits, she missed him a little bit, but she knew she would have to move on. Her friend Emberfall was curled up by herself, the poor she-cat had her heart torn out by the cat she loved and never got over it. Nightsong frowned, they had hardly spoken since then but Nightsong would always be their for her.
Nightsong got up and padded out. She blinked, her beautiful green eyes looked towards the middle of camp curiously. She padded over and saw a cat, it was Soulheart. "Hello?" Nightsong called out to him curiously.

Soulheart twitched his ears as the sound became just alittle louder and noiced that the sounds were indeed coming from the Nursery. Opening his dark green eyes fully, he slowly turned his head when he caught the scent of a she-cat and smiled slightly at the sight of Nightsong. The moonlight seemed to bring the young queen's pelt out more, glowing with marks of bright cream. He had remembered Nightsong when he was just an apprentice, though during that time Grayshrew was with her and was very much his mentor as well. Due to his other mentor, Flamestreak who died fighting against a group of rouge cats. Grayshrew was asigned to mentor him, even though sometimes they couldn't agree with each other on some points. All and all, Grayshrew was a good mentor to him and the sudden death was one of many that soon became part of his nightmares. Reliving the same deaths of his loved ones, over and over again. He thought of this, as he looked at Nightsong, as both a blessing and a curse. "Hello, Nightsong." The tan and white tom whispered, loud enough so she could hear and slowly let his tail unwrap from his white paws. He could tell that Nightsong was slowly getting there, her belly was beginning to swell and her movement were even fragil with step. Grayshrew maybe or is the father of those kits, but fate had a different plan for her and he was guessing that starclan would show the sign sooner or later. Bowing his head to Nightsong, he waved his tail and smiled. "What's wrong, Nightsong? You couldn't sleep?" He asked calmly, letting his spiked tail fall beside him.

Nightsong blinked, her green eyes looked out gently, it was indeed Soulheart, the young warrior had been her mate, Greyshrew's, apprentice. She smiled at the young warrior, she recalled how Greyshrew and he had not always seen eye to eye. She couldn't help but smile, Greyshrew had been very proud of his apprentice, it was rather sad that he was now dead, he would have loved to see how much he had grown. He would have loved to see their kits. Nightsong smiled gently though, she wasn't always grief stricken, she tried hard not to get sad or think about him, besides he was watching her, he was always with her, all she had to do was look up at Silverpelt and see the stars, he was there, with Starclan. Always with her.
It comforted her to think of such things, it made her less sad, which helped her alot. She knew she shouldn't be so worried, not right now. She was being to notice the effects of being pregnant, her belly only starting to swell a bit, her movements far more careful. She sat down gently and curled her cream tail around her black and cream form. "Hello Soulheart" She greeted softly. She sighed a bit and nodded, "Yes, sadly I couldn't sleep myself" She said, "I see you have the same problem?" She questioned curiously.

Soulheart slowly nodded, slowly returning his gaze to the star covered sky and wrapped his tail around his white paws again. "Yes, too eager for the next patrol I guess." He mewed, flicking his tan colored ears back with a small chuckle. He always thought about the little things and the joys of seeing kits run and get into trouble, though he was always watching over his sister. So really, he never got the chance to act like a kit again and now has to deal with his sister getting into alot of things. Turning his head to Nightsong, he started to wonder about Grayshrew and what future would hold for the young queen. But yet he had to admit, Nightsong looked beautiful. Smiling abit, he turned his head to the sky again and sighed softly. "So what are you going to do now?" He asked, his eyes still gazing at the sky. (Muse is halfway off XD)

Nightsong smiled gently, she nodded "Patrols were always fun" She said softly, she had to admit it mainly because it was true. While she was still a warrior, she always had fun going hunting and on patrols. They had always brought new wonders, it was on a patrol she had first talked with Greyshrew, it was then they fell in love. But it never made her sad to think of it, she still found patrols to be exciting.
She chuckled gently, "I'm not sure" She said, "Perhaps sit and wait till everyone else is up" She said, "The life of a queen can be a little boring sometimes" she said. Sometimes it was boring, sometimes it wasn't, but she always in the end found something to do worth saying it wasn't boring.

Soulheart chuckled abit, glad that at least someone in camp still had humor and slowly rose to his paws. It was true in some cases, that queens sat around or slept all day with nothing to do. Sure, warriors would visit the Nursery every once in a while but that was only if they had time or they were the father of the kits. But of course, the tan and white tom had a soft heart for any queen in his clan. Every kit was like a blessing from StarClan themselves and nothing ever compared to a she-cat's love. Soulheart sighed, feeling as if no one would ever love him. Even as he tried to talk to other she-cats, his friends or other toms of his clan would simply step in and take what crush he was after. Eh, its ok. I'll let love find me. He thought, smiling before gazing at Nightsong. "Would you like to take a walk with me? It would be less boring." He asked her, laughing softly after he finshed.

Nightsong smiled gently, "I would love to!" She purred happily, glad to have something to do, she was glad Soulheart was so friendly. It was ncie to just talk with someone, it had been a long time since someone came to visit her since Greyshrew's death, so she would often wander out of the nursery. She spoke with many in camp, she was so happy to have others to talk with. Skyleaper was one of her friends, he was rather strange though, very very strange. But he was also nice. Nice, it had been nice when Emberfall was with her, but her friend's heart broken beyond repair had also affected her, she felt so bad for her friend, she was also made at Jayflame for what he did. She knew her friend was fast asleep still, so no sense in going back, she really had nothing to do, so why not go for a little walk.
Nightsong purred gently, her green eyes looked at the tom, she got up gently uncoiling her cream tail from her beautiful black form. She really couldn't wait to go for a walk, walks were also nice. They were also comforting and you could always find something to do on them, something new to look at or scent. She was happy now.

The tan and white tom smiled, flicking tan tipped ears back with a twitch of his whiskers. He was glad Nightsong said yes, though it was more of a perked up answer then a calm one. But none the less, Soulheart was the one who offered a walk and he himself will be the one to take her. Letting his spiked tail wave in the air abit, he waited for the young queen to stand before taking a paw step forward and lifted his head to the stars. "Ok, then. Follow me Nightsong and stay close to my side" Soulheart quietly meowed, moving foward slowly so the young cream and black queen could keep up with him. Soon they had left the campsite and were padding along a small dirt path that trailed from their home. As always though, the tan and white was on alert with his ears flicking back every few mins. His dark green eyes were most sharp within the darkness of night, so anyone who would even try to sneak up on them would have quite a shock. Nearing the tall grass that the moor was most famos for, Soulheart stopped for a moment and turned his head to look at Nightsong with a calm, loving gaze. "The moor looks quite beautiful at night." He purred, gazing up at the Silverpelt in awe.

Nightsong smiled happily, she nodded, "Alright" She said, she padded by her side. Soulheart padded slowly around, She smiled gently, it was nice of him to wait for her. They padded down the small dirt road. Nightsong's enchanting green eyes looked around happily, the dark was so nice, it was interesting to see things at night, it was a whole new world. The night was her time of the day, it was just do lovely. Her black pelt blended into the night, her cream colours stuck out in the dark.
Nightsong glanced over at him. His eyes held a calm loving gaze, she smiled gently, she returned the look with a gentle look of her own, soft and pure, sweet and loving. "It is wonderful" She said, she looked towards Silverpelt, "The night is always so lovely" She said happily, she looked around gently, she couldn't help but feel content.

Soulheart smiled gently, his spiked tail waved abit and let his eyes fall on a rabbit not far from them. "I'm glad you like it. I always thought night was much more beautiful then day." He meowed, taking a few steps forward before glancing at Nightsong. He wanted to do something for her, but he didn't know what. But after a few more glances between the queen and the rabbit, he couldn't help but think of the word hunt. Letting his ears fold abit, he slowly turned his head to Nightsong and tilted it abit. "Nightsong? Did you eat yet?" Soulheart asked, turning his head to see the rabbit hop a few steps before stopping to eat a blade of grass. His body was slowly beginning to tense with energy and wanted nothing more to take off after it.

Nightsong smiled gently, she looked around, "It's so lovely" She whispered gently, she had felt this happy since she was with Greyshrew. Poor Greyshrew, he would have loved this sight. She glanced up at the stars, she wondered if he was watching right now. She blinked her eyes and looked over at Soulheart, was she hungry? She hadn't eaten since.. well since yesterday, but she was rather hungry now that someone mentioned it. "No I haven't yet" She meowed, "I would love for something to eat though" She meowed gently, she was eather hungry. She looked at him with her beautiful eyes and wondered if he was going to hunt.
