Tigerpaw's orange tabby fur flashed,scrurrying around camp.. Like his mentor would;Twilightstar. His amber eyes gleaming as he crept in and out of the dark shadows of dawn,he frowned,weighing him down like... He shook his head,No. Searching.Searching for Twilightstar,earlier Eclipsestream had spoken with her and he wanted to know exactly what. A fittle growl could be heard thinking about Eclipsestream talking of something un-needed. She did like to ramble about ridiculous things and he wanted to make sure she didn't embarrass him. He also wanted to know if he was almost made to be a warrior.

The snow white leader sat under a tall tree that had been stripped of its leaves. She observed her clan like she normally did on slow days like these. She looked for ways to improve life in MoonClan, fearing that her clan isn't happy.
Twilightstar's breath made white puffs in front of her nose, floating off and disappearing in the chilly winter air. Is there enough food for all of us? She thought. A small breeze brushed against her face. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Tigerpaw...? She smelt her apprentice. Her icy blue eyes flicked to the direction the wind was coming from. |

Tigerpaw sensed his Leader neabye,though the air was floating her direction,there was just always this peace about her,like a.. Aurora,sort of.
His large paws leaving some heavy pawprints,he smiled as Twilightstar came into view,he bounded up silently to her,dipping his head,"Good day Twilightstar." He didn't want to bring out his point right away,for that might be rude,or unthoughtfull. Eyes pondering the ground,still thinking of what Silvermist could have said.
His ears flitting around to hear his surroundings his grimanced as he heard nosound of prey,this was bad,very bad.

Twilightstar dipped her head, giving a friendly smile. "Hello Tigerpaw." She cringed slightly. Their voices seem to carry too clearly in the empty air, making the eerie silence even more pronounced around the mentor and apprentice every pause.
The leader looked into Tigerpaw's eyes. Her own eyes narrowed a bit. She could see he was distracted by something. He looked like her thoughts were clouded to her. "Is there something bothering you?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Twilightstar didn't like it when young cats looked worried. Even if Tigerpaw wasn't so young anymore, she thought that the life of an apprentice was already difficult and to have something else troubling them... that didn't seem fair. |

He tilted his head up from the ground,"It's just Silvermist,she..err.. Can talk about things that could be missed,or things that could be.. unnesarry. Is annything bothering you? I'm not so young and clueless,you're troubled. I can see it more than you think,I do know you more than others Twilightstar,you are my leader and mentor. You are like.. My mother,who died in a fire. You are my teacher,te best cat i've ever met. I bow my head sincerly in respect,I know something is terribly bothering you so don't try to hide it from me." A determind look hit his face.

Twilightstar looked at Tigerpaw in surprise. She knew how much Tigerpaw's mother must have ment to him. She gave a small sigh. "Thank you, Tigerpaw, I am flattered. I do feel very close to you. As a leader, I was never allowed to have children of my own so you are like a son to me. You are too smart to fall for the old 'nothing is wrong' speech. It's just... the clan. You know how winter affects us. But right now it just feels like there is no hope for us to survive. Our alliances with other clans is very poor, all of the animals on our swamp territory are either frozen or buried to deep in the mud, and I feel like the clan is losing it's faith in me. That feeling has been clawing at me. The can't sleep anymore. I can't even eat." She looked down at her paws, ashamed in herself that she was just spilling out her feeling onto her apprentice.
The temperature seemed to drop at that moment. She had to change the topic... take it off her. "So what is this about Silvermist?" she asked, raising her brow (Do cats have eye brows?). "Care to explain?" |

Tigerpaw frowned,he knew this,alot of cats had tried changing subjects on him,"Don't feel ashamed,and don't try to change topic on me. Well it looks like we'll be leading some patrols today,hm? Nevermind her for now,we can save that after we've got a pile going." He sat down,staring at the ground in thought,"If we go towards the water,there might be some prey there but since the water is frozen to ice there won't be many,mabye if we crack a wholes and then go hunt somewhere else then we can go back and strike down. If we go towards Fireclan territory there still might be a few left,and then send another patrol into the more middle of the forest so that way they can mind small gathering and then we might end up some sort of a small or large pile." He muttered to himself,but so Twilightstar could still hear.
{Mm I don't think they do but who cares? I like the idea of cats having eyebrows.}

Twilightstar smiled proudly at her apprentice. "Spoken like a leader." She purred. She tried to teach Tigerpaw everything she knew. All her knowledge she had of being a warrior and leading a clan. She thought he had great potential of being a leader.
That thought brought something else into her mind. She studied Tigerpaw, looking at his large paws and muscle structure. He was getting older. Faster than she thought. He was ready. Ready to take a step up from being an apprentice. Maybe tonight should be the night for his ceremony...
Twilightstar nodded. "Okay, Tigerpaw. Lead the way." She smiled. |

He looked up and smiled,"Thank you." He cocked his head staring up,"Now.. Who should we bring?" His head flitted as he zoomed over names,"Mmm. I've got a list of a few apprentices who should come. Cosmospaw,Canyonpaw,Heropaw,Candlepaw,and Frostpaw. And a few warriors;Silvermist,Heronflight,Wolftail,and Earthstep. Those are all I can think of right now." He tilted his head up in thought again,"Do I get too lead a patrol?" He smiled bravely,the little darey apprentice he was. Sometimes he liked to push limits,but who cares? It was worth a try.

Twilightstar thought for a moment. "Hmmm... I guess you could. Just don't show it off so much and get the cats talking." She said, even though she knew he was smart enough not to. "If you would like to pick out a few cats you would like to take, go on and find them. Hopefully we would be able to find enough prey with enough cats."
She looked around her to see what time of day it was. It was still early so they had time to collect some food. Twilightstar will not let anyone starve this lead-bare. |

He cocked his head again,"But first would you care to tell me what Silvermist had spoke too you about?" He smiled,his mishchevious ways. How funny he could be at times. His goofy smile sone through anyone though,and his little head cocking and way of thinking made him look adorable,though this smart one couldn't and shouldn't be let of easily. He started muttering too himself again,"Me,Heronflight,Bluepelt,Wolftail. Second could be Silvermist,Rainstorm,Heropaw,anddd.... Eclipsepaw! Now who else Could we bring... Got it! Shadowpelt,Nightwhisper,Cannyonpaw,and Cosmospaw!
Now just to organize them so they all don't have some petty fights.
I think Bluepelt,Heronflight,Candlepaw and Cosmospaw should be with me.
Then Nightwhisper take Eclipsepaw,Shadowpelt,Rainstorm,and Heropaw.
Sootwhisker could take... Oh who could he take?!" He sat there sullenly in thinking mode,the world a bit blocked out on his senses right now.

Twilightstar looked at him, a proud smile growing on her face. "Silvermist is a wise warrior. I don't believe she told me anything that was unnecessary." She told him. "She speaks of nothing that I didn't already know but... she just made me realize it in a different way." She was being vague on purpose. Tigerpaw would figure it out sooner or later and didn't want him to be bothered by the fact that he was born to be leader and that he had no other destiny. It would be his to choose and who was she to force it on him? |

Tigerpaw smiled at Twilightstar,"Ehh... A bit too bossy if you ask me." He teased,his tail waving back and forth excitedly. "Did you just want too talk orr...." He trailed off,hunting? Didn't sound in his favor right now,Fighting? Fun. Exploring and talking? Quite there. Exploring and going over different grounds and practicing training? Awesome. He thought battle training sounded most fun then,but what did he know? His bright orange tabby fur glistened,him obviously ready to go and train or practice anywhere. His blue eyes lightened up brightly and he forgot all about posture right then.. He was excited.

((Aww thank you ^.^ Oh and sorry I haven't been replying right away. I have been sick and my parents didn't want me infecting the computer haha))
The snow white leader laughed when she saw his expression and his body language change. "I am guessing you have something else in mind." She said with a joyful smile. "How about this? I will get a hunting patrol around to go hunting and while they are doing that, we can go out and do whatever you have in mind."
Twilightstar couldn't help but feel a little relieved. It wasn't that she didn't want to do the work of hunting in the middle of leaf-bare. She was just afraid of how she would react to the scarcity of prey. Though she felt guilty for feeling so, she was glad Tigerpaw wanted to do something else. |

Tigerpaw smiled,"Practice fighting with me? I could brushen up on my fighting skills." His grin widened like Smallpaw's and a paw cirled the ground,itching to get up and jump around,though he calmed himself usefully,though his cute blue eyes looked round and excited too go,though his patient was long,training with his mentor was just so exciting,and he couldn't wait until a warrior,he knew that Twilightstar didn't want too force anything on him,but he already knew that she knew that he would becom a leader someday,it was quite obvious on how she trusted him a lot.

Twilightstar saw how hard it was for him to contain his excitement. "I have never seen an apprentice so eager to practice fighting." She said. "Okay, wait their one moment." The leader turned around and started walking towards the warriors den to make a patrol, but she looked over her shoulder and said "You don't have to act so calm. Even I let out my inner kit sometimes." she winked. Then she walked off to the warrior's den.
She quickly gathered up a large group of her warriors to go out hunting. They left right away towards the drier side of their territory. She walked back to Tigerpaw. "Ready?" She asked, even though she already knew the answer. |

Tigerpaw smiled,"Where do you want too go?" He shuffled his over-sized paws and glanced around,ready too pounce on anything,this is always exciting;training with his mentor. Though he always tried too not spasm out he couldn't and pobably shouldn't contain it or he might end up in the medicine cat den for a week or so with Shadowsong,he thought that would be gloomy,though he bet Ravenpaw and him could spend more time with eachother,though he guessed she didn't really like him. Oh well.. Live in the present. He liked that a lot. The weird motto.

"How about the training swamp?" The leader said, happy to see him so... happy. Her blue eyes watched his body movement and how he was still trying to hard to stay calm. It amused her that so many apprentices tried to be like warriors... and so many warriors acted like kits. She chuckled to herself at the thought.
"Plus, the hunting patrol doesn't really hunt their this time of year," Not enough food... "so we shouldn't be interrupted. It will be nice and quiet." No prey...
