Eclipsepaw sifted into a corner, her silvery fur in sun now vanishing into the shadows. Her yellow lighted eyes glared and stared, her fur messed up as if the she-cat were a loner. She felt as if no one loved her,nor cared. Her heart pounded symlaniously fast. No,she was not dreaming. Mabye thinking of what yet too bring her. Misfortune may it be? She questioned herself. Will she ever be stunning and proud like Appleblossom? She admired the Elder, though mabye she was a bit up than she should be. Her tabby scruffy fur was no longer soft and fluffy, cuddly and warm, cute and furry.
Her small little paw was pushed into the dusk light, the sunlight, dark night, who cared? It was all the same wasn't it? Food? Comfort? Where could you find it? The clan she called "home" was in despair. Who too trust? Who to hate? Who too love? Did anyone care for the little she-cat?
Her sad little glaring yellow eyes pieced anything, her stomach and ribs showing too the bone. The hideous little she-cat didn't at all ook like a clan cat. She looked as if half dead. Her sharp,almost-long claws were now short and dull,as her life was. Did anyone notice her? Did anyone care for her? Forgotten. How is it with such a clan too be so forgotten? So.. Lonely. Heart broken? Most definaitly. Was anyone alive in her eyes? Did she see anything gratefull? All the she-cats always told their cute little fluffy pelted kits too always be thankfull, yet how could she? In such despair.
Eclipsepaw never ate,she hadn't eaten for the past week. She used too be the life-full boundle that bound all the cats together, now she felt like the dead,life-less out cast who everyone forgot about and hated, she felt terrible and sick. Could she die young and go too Starclan soon? She hated this, miserable life, yet she refused too leave her clan, they might not have needed the small warrior. Her maw was shut tightly, watching the patrols leave and no one spotting her,if she were too walk out too te fresh-kill pile and sit down, would anyone notice her?
She shivered, the soon approaching leaf-bare would kill her off easily if she had not eat,she planned not eating for this was like a game too her. How long without eating, sleeping, grooming,or caring for herself in genral, how long could she go without that? Forever? Would she become respected? Would someone come too care for her? Would she sit and rot forever? Would they offer her warmth and comfort? Or would they ditch her into the cold too let her die off into the wilderness? She felt as if she where tearless, her brain could not generate enough tears for her too cry. No pain no game. She growled and hissed at herself, everday clawing herself too pieces into the night air, fussing and hating. Was this her true self? Was this how she was ment too be? Would she ever find a loved one?
Thoughts of suicide of herself had come across her mind whenever she dreamed of being plump and nice like all the other cats where. The soft, nice warmthness of the apprentice's den no longer comforted her,as she spent her days out here, hiding, seeing and creeping. She tried not too scare though every once and a while she'd come across some cat that she'd spook, hide from, not talk too,and go into the forest and hide.. The dark, dense forest. The thing she mostly called 'home' instead of her actual family in the clan. What was too happen if anyone descovered her hiding place in the forest? The big oak trees, burnt now too shrubbs, barely livable yet she still managed it. Her dullness, would she ever care for life again? Was she one of those 'complainers'? Was she an outcast? She certainly concidered herself the bigest loser in the whole clan.
The morning. The shadows. The Happy Days And Dark Sunrises, why not everone just ignore her? Could she from everything and die? could she live without living? Die without dying? Was it even possible for he too get away from these troubles? Would she start a new life? Kill herself? Become a killer rogue? Would she eat? Would she die alone? Without any comfort? Would she become the murderer? Would she pay the consequences for not taking care of herself? Dying seemed the best option, though anyone could frown and cry at her choice, though what was the point of living? Too be disapointed again? For no one too ever care?
She slowly padded from the shadows, now her best friend, setting in the middle off camp, she wondered if anyone would notice her,and if so,who? One who'd insult her and not care? Would it be the cat too feel mercy onto her? Too love and too caress her? Would she die an apprentice? Half-dead and then become alive? Reborn again? Would she become powerfull? Would she be respected or would she be mocked into leaving? Would anyone fight for her life? Was she a loner in her own clan? Was she the cat everyone got to trash and spit on? Too hate and torture? Would she be the first cat in history too die on her own will of haing her life?
She stared helplessly at the limp mouse that only lay in the clearing, small it was,and starved, she was tempted, but no. She'd rater starve and be loved than be fat and be hated. Would she just drop her protest and act like the funky, spazzy, slick, furry ball she normally was? This was the dying time. Her dying time. Her tail flicking nervously back and fourth, would anyone notice the half-dead? This is Happy Times for other and Black Sunrises for her. Yet she still didn't ever sleep.

Liliac colored eyes sought around the clearing. Such delicate, soft eyes seek for someone she loved dearly. Her prince is nowhere to be seen. To her surprise, Appleblossom found herself looking directly at Eclipsepaw, the apprentice that she once brought to life. She knew Eclipsepaw's mother. She helped the queen giving birth to her and her siblings. She had watched her growing up into an energetic, lively cat, but now...?
The former medicine cat frowned at the sight. Eclipsepaw looked half dead. There was a ghost aura sticking to her dark fur. She saw many StarClan cats with her own eyes, but she never saw a living cat with stars in its fur. Even no one would notice, but she could see the faint stars. That is how medicine cats know how much cats have left to live.
She noticed that no one ever come to her. Poor mite. She would turn and walk away, mind her own business since she dislike apprentices, but she knew she could not abandon a cat's life. It is her life, her duty to save every cat's life no matter what. Even she remembered the first life she lost, the ancient ache came back, rushing into her veins. Shuddering at the depressing memory, she came closer and called her name, "Eclipsepaw."
This time, she gave Eclipsepaw a bright smile. A real smile. To show the apprentice that she cares.

The little dead cat spun around, her stars shimmering brightly at the medicine cat,her eyes brightened a bit, maybe the retired medicine cat would care for her? She knew that Appleblossom saw the living starclan apprentice. Was this even possible? Now she was noticed and this could not go around fussed about. She bounded towards Appleblossom a bit slowly just to conserve energy or she would have ran over there. "Yes Appleblossom?" She admired the elder and greatly respected her, though she knew Appleblossom didn't really like any apprentices except for her old apprentice Shadowsong. She cocked a smile as though not noticing her horrid condition.

"Want to talk with me?" Appleblossom asked her, glancing toward the dark forest. She walked toward the entrance of the MoonClan camp because she knew that Eclipsepaw will follow her. The apprentice has a lot of respect for the ancient medicine cat. Of course, everybody does. Pausing there, she turned and asked the apprentice, "Mind if we walk for a while?"
It has been so long since she last walked and talked with somebody. When she was a young apprentice, she was with her friend to gather herbs. StarClan, that was ages ago. Seasons ago, then. Wow, she thought.

Eclipsepaw uttered,"But.. I thought you didn't like apprentices." So the she-cat had supposedly heard, she glanced towards the forest. Her forest. Her actual home. Her seemingly dull eyes cheered, she always amenced stronger in her dark, hiding place and comfort of home. Her muddy tail lashing back and forth and her fur prickling she still yet seemed dull and lifeless. Though as the stars had gotten brighter. Should she go? Should she betray her game and live? Or die? She knew living was an important key in life and that was now what she was to try for. Living.

Appleblossom did not know what to say to that. Eclipsepaw is certainly full of surprises. She surprised the ancient medicine cat many times before. Sighing, Appleblossom flicked her tail, "Who cares?" She spoke once again, being more herself than ever. Being stuck with the spirit for several seasons may change her, but the longer she live, the more she return to her real self.
"Who cares if I don't like you. You look half dead to me," Appleblossom told her bluntly. Once again, she was being honest. Telling everyone the truth they don't like and want to hear. Welcome back, she thought quietly.

Eclipsepaw smiled,"I do don't I? A half dead apprentice with stars on my fur sitting spock-middle of everyone, yet everyone ignores me and carries on with life as if they where blind even to the world of beauty. The scorching of the summer with it's red hot heatness. The fall of burning brillance of the colors of the leaves. The winter as when we all frolic like little kits in the snow. And spring. The time of newborn kits and life to bring us all and of fillful prey. Though none can see the whole world as peaceful as some others do. Though you and I share a thing in common Appleblossom. We see the world in a different perspective. Call me what you may,I admit i've always wanted to be a medicine cat, though i've always assumed unright for the job."

A smile from Eclipsepaw was not what she expected. But she let that pass. Stepping deeper in the forest, Appleblossom quietly continuing listening to what the apprentice said. She do not want to reply back, only wanting to listen to what the apprentice has to share. At least, this is a good start. Nodding at the part where Eclipsepaw wanted to be a medicine cat, Appleblossom was surprised once more. "Why do you think you are not fit for the job?" She avoided the dead log as she jumped over it.

Eclipsepaw follow her, more slowly though, jumping roughly over the long, her skin-tight fur showed her ribs jarring against her sides, burning and hurting beneath her skin. "Because I was stupid and blind as all others are then. Though I'm roughly aware that those positions are not open. That bothers me very much,I do not like the fighting of cats and would rather sit and heal cats much rather than go hunt and kill animals with my own claws. Yet I feel left behind in my own despair and that no one cares for me. I will probably be forced to retire or some fox-dung like that. Though it would probably be better than sitting listening to annoying apprentices yap all day like kitty-pets and hear everyone groan about being cold and such. It annoys me and that is why I call this direful place more home than those pitiful runts that like to bother me more than anything. They always put stones and thorns and sticks in my nest and laugh when I yelp in pain and it's not like Twilightstar will do anything about it. Shadowsong is in despair,Ravenpaw doesn't want to retire so is a medicine cat yet when it's god-awful being like that in such pain when a little tweak to her shoulder might at least help he be able to run." Her little rant was done.

Usually, Appleblossom would never smile at the jokes everybody made. It is rare for her to smile at what cats say. After what Eclipsepaw said, a small smile broke out on her lips. She understood how the young apprentice felt. Eclipsepaw remind her of her younger self. It was ages ago when she was young like Eclipsepaw. Nodding at the apprentice, Appleblossom only told her, "Shadowsong is not really a medicine cat, though I am surprised she chose to be one. Sometimes, I thought that she would be better become a warrior, but again, it is not my choice."
She closed her mouth once again, glancing toward the dead log once again. Chuckling lightly, she told Eclipsepaw, "Ravenpaw is really wonderful. She will be a great medicine cat." Sighing, she stopped, sitting down. She waited for the silence to come. It did...always. She glanced at the stars in the ink colored sky. Closing her liliac eyes, she breathed in and out long sighs. She look like she is at peace. She is.

Eclipsepaw gave her toothy grin,"Funny hm? True it is. Might just as well be saying 'Oh I don't want to be a warrior because I'm not fit for the job!' Just go seek out retirement or some fox-dung like that. You,me and Twilighstar are the only in this camp that can see the world as Starclan made it. I would love to be a medicine cat,yet I don't think I would be accepted also to train.. It isn't in the warrior code that you can only have one medicine cat apprentice. Interesting hm? You seem to mind me. Why is that exactly Appleblossom?"

Appleblossom shrugged, "Life is strange." She thought about all cats she healed in the past and thought of all lost ones she tried hard to save. That made her cringe. It brought a few quiet sobs out of her old body. She whispered a name, "Icesnake." The name sounds ancient and not familiar to the young apprentice. The name has a lot of longing and ache inside. Appleblossom turned away for the fact she hated to cry in front of anyone, even her prince, Walldrop. Where is Walldrop those days? She utterly missed him.

"The first cat you lost?" The young, yet smart little apprentic guessed,as her ribs squeazed against her skinned body. Her eyes glared into Appleblossom,"Looking for your prince Walldrop?" Her smirky smile appeared again, for the observant apprentice. "I'm more smarter than you can imagine Appleblossom." She was weird. Very. She was a living starclan cat. The wisdom and death look and stars. Extremely ackward, though not one cat besides wisdom accient Appleblossom notices her. Was this destined for her? She padded after Appleblossom slowly, her small paws barely thudding. "Do you think I could be a medicin cat?" She asked quietly.

For the first time, Appleblossom glared warily at the apprentice. Tears dried instantly on her cheeks. She hated it when Eclipsepaw looked at her all alone and vulenerable. It is not normal of Appleblossom to feel this...exposed and open in front of an apprentice. Big mouthed and smart alerk for someone so young, Appleblossom felt a tiny spark of hatred for this young cat. Sighing, she ignored the building heat of hatred, she closed her eyes and remembered the white furred cat with darkest blue eyes that no cats in her long life ever had. "Yes," she whispered. It was a light purr, so light it spoke of longing and desire. The old medicine cat remembered the handsome warrior she used to have a crush on.
Opening her eyes, she glanced at Eclipsepaw when the apprentice spoke of her young prince. She did not step back when the apprentice took a little step toward her. She looked directly in the apprentice's eye and told her, "If you wish to be."

Eclisepaw smiled. Not some weird wisdom smile. A real smile. "Thank you Appleblossom. Would you be able to help me restore my strength? Shadowsong is a bit.. Rude to me and Ravenpaw doesn't specificly like me either. Though it's not like they ever see me anymore. And yes. I really, honestly do wish to be a medicine cat." Her smile faded as a pain struck her side, though she trembled violently, this happened a lot and she was clearly used to it. She closed her eyes snap shut, seperating her paws and bracing herself from going down on the floor and fainting. What a horrid site she was.

((don't mind him, he's a mean kitty)) A ghostly white figure weaved through trees and padded silently over dry pine needles. A field rat hung limply in his jaws, a lucky find. He was alone, and he was content.
Soulfang felt the empty, dark woods unlike most cats: he welcomed the feel of solitude. He rarely stayed around camp, but when he did, it was in his nest or away from others. He was a great warrior and a never backed down from a fight; not to let his silence be mistaken for weakness.
Suddenly, to his regret, he spotted a figure of a cat out of his peripheral vision. Whatever, he would just ignore them. But..who else usually came out here this far in the woods? Glancing at them Soulfang recognized Appleblossom. StarClan, he hadn't seen her in ages. He actually respected the old medicine cat. She wasn't the "oh let me see your poor wittle wound, you poor wittle darling" type. She had her limits, as he had his.
Even more surprising, was the scent he caught over the strong smell of his rat. A face came to mind, then a name: Eclipsepaw. His lip curled. Never had he liked apprentices. They were like kits, which he hated too, but even worse. She smelled, well, she smelled like she hadn't washed or been treating herself in days. It was absolutely gross.
Soulfang tentatively padded over to them, instantly mad that he had spotted in the first place. However, Appleblossom's normally refined and nonchalant way seemed disturbed. Ugh, was something wrong?
Getting a closer look, he was only a few fox-lenths away, he saw that something was wrong with Eclipsepaw. Sick? Fainted? His first thoughts: Stupid apprentice. What he said: "Appleblossom." he greeted smoothly. He motioned toward Eclipsepaw. "Everything all..right?"

Eclisepaw's yellow glazing eyes burned open with hostileness. "Do I look like i'm okay?" She retorted back. Her sides heaving against her scrawny,scraggly,up-chuck looking fur. Her dull claws sinking into the ground she when people asked her 'Are you alright?' When clearly she wasn't alright.
As she returned to her normal stand she flung arond to face the tom angrily,"Fight-picker." She mocked. The wisdom smile spreading on her face. Her small little she-cat paws and kneaded the ground angrily, though the tom was clearly a fight-picker as she knew the whole clan though most of the time the clan didn't know her.

Soulfang waited for Appleblossom's response, and only did he acknowledge Eclipsepaw was when she dared get in his face. He looked at her as one might look at a kitchen cockroach. This annoying, gross, feeble apprentice was ruining his whole day. "Yes. Yes I am," the ghostly white tom replied with a blase´flick of his ear. He wouldn't respond to the apprentice's challenge. He didn't need to. He stretched himself to his full height and turned to Appleblossom again. "Got your paws full, eh?"
Again he looked at Eclipsepaw. "No, you don't look ok. Don't look at me like that. I'm no medicine cat."

"Why ask then? You know I may be small but I have my resources. I'm not some mangy apprentice you loaf, If you weren't so blind you might see my wonderful Starclan stars. Yet your blind to the world." The thing she just hated,oaf-kin warriors trying to boss her around. A hiss through her clentched teeth showed she might have some rotten teeth but they where sharp. Baring her nasty fangs at the tom and spun around walking to go beside Appleblossom before turning around and facing him again. She was glad to know that Appleblossom liked and cared for her even though she was an apprentice.

Appleblossom greeted the warrior with a polite nod, "Soulfang." Then she glared at the apprentice with a cruel look. After watching the two bickering, Appleblossom decided to step in. "Eclipsepaw, that is enough." She retorted, "You are only an apprentice. Show some respect for this warrior." She pointed her tail toward Soulfang. "I know that you have been through a lot lately. I will help you to regain your strength. I do not do that because I want you to, but because I am only doing my duty as a medicine cat though I am retired. Understand?" Her tone was sharp and cold once again.
She turned her attention on Soulfang. "What do you want?" Soulfang was right. She was not the "oh, how can I help you?" sweet type.
