Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw frowned a bit as she padded towards the medicine cat's den, she had to talk with her mentor eventually, was she a little mean when they first met yes, yes she was. But was she born like that? Perhaps, she always was a little strange. She born of a cold spirit only tamed by a wild fire named Smallpaw, and now her good friends Cayonpaw and Tigerpaw. She had calmed down abit, if only a bit. Now she could at least say hi right? Maybe a small how are you? No that was just going to far, to far... Ravenpaw frowned, almost scowling, stupid Shadowsong, why did she have to be her mentor, her mentor who didn't teach her anything! How was she going to be a medicine cat when she hardly knew anything about herbs?! Ravenpaw sighed, it wasn't her fault she was stuck as a medicine cat, it was that mouse-dung badger. FOX-DUNG! How come she couldn't be an apprentice still! It wasn't fair. 'It's either this or Elderhood' she shuddered a bit at the thoughts of having to sleep in the elders den. "Ugh" she moaned, what would she do now? Pretend to be something she wasn't? Nice? She shuddered again at the word. Fear of losing anything again driving her to insult someone. But sadly no one was around to shout at. Curse her and her bad timings. She scowled now, her frown replaced. She'd have to go in eventually, but she merely sat outside the den. The sun peeked out from behind the clouds, it hit her fur and made it glow lightly. She felt no warmth but did enjoy the thoughts of the sun warming her up. Her raven black fur shone gently. Her icy blue eyes glared down at the ground. She sighed, she didn't want to go in... just yet.

"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow." Complaining was heard from the edge of the main clan area. It was coming from the young Scrappaw, who had a wound in his left front paw. It wasn't anything too lethal. Something from one of the den's of two-legs. It was shiny, sorta clear, and it hurt oh so much. This is what the young adventuring cat gets for leaving clan territory to look for parts to create things. Aside from his wound, Scrappaw had found a cool metal oject clenched in his teeth. A rusty rod that the two-legs had thrown out, and it was perfect for the warrior's next invention- the scrap cat. It would be a perfect spine.
But as much as Scrappaw wanted to create his artwork, his wound was really annoying him, to the point where he wanted to roll on his back and pry the object himself. But he knew the clan had the cats for that job, and they would do so in a way which would be less painful, and in a way to stop anything the object might have been carrying- like sick stuff or whatever the heck medic cats called it. His shining eyes caught sight of the night-black medic cat. He wasn't too sure what her name was or how much experience she had, but he knew she was a medic, and medic's need to take care of the sick and wounded. Excited for his injury to leave, Scrappaw padded over to the black cat, trying not to complain about his poor paw. "'scuse me Ms. Medic Cat, is there any possible way you can help poor little old me with my wound?" He asked her kindly, raising his damaged paw to the dark cat.

Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw's eyes glanced towards the sky, how could she choose to ignore her mentor forever, her heart broken and hurt, yet somehow feeling better, if only slightly. Her soul missing, yet she wasn't completely heartless. Her eyes that fearsome ivy blue the whole reason other's were scared of her, that cold colour, sometimes she felt like a monster. A tiny cat on the outside, but a monster on the inside, missing so many pieces of herself, would she ever find them? She wanted to scream to the point where she had no voice. She just couldn't talk with Shadowsong right now, she couldn't. She looked down at the ground, her mind fighting over what she should do. "Ow" She heard complaing from the other side of camp, her eyes glanced over as a cat made his way towards her. What was his name again? Oh yea Scrappaw, he was a strange cat that's for certain. The tiny black she-cat the mere size of a kit gave him a glare when he said little old me. "My name is Ravenpaw not Mis. Medic cat" She hissed lowly. "What did you do?" She meowed quietly asking him what happened in her own dark way.

Scrappaw flinched at the sudden attack the medic cat had in her words. She was most definitely a cold one; which sort of sucks on his part. Ravenpaw....he would have to remember that. Scrappaw nearly laughed out loud from the irony he caught. A raven was similar to a crow, a mischievous bird that collected scrapped peices; much like he did. There might be some connection Scrappaw could make with the young Medic Cat, hopepully in terms of a strong friendship. Escaping his daydreaming, Scrappaw raised his wounded paw with the peice of shiny-stuff in his foot. "Sorry Ravenpaw, I'm terrible with names, I hope you can forgive me. But you see, I was scrambling around a two-leg home looking for some scraps to gather, and I stepped on this here bugger. Any chance you can pull it out mate?" Scrappaw said enthusiastically, hoping the black cat will not be so cold if he showed a little bit of positive energy in his words.

Ravenpaw frowned a bit, scowling as she looked towards Scrappaw. Her eyes narrowed, the twisted look in her icy blue eyes made from anger, hatred and sorrow. Was he completely clueless? Why does everyone sound so happy in the morning, it made no sense? Why be happy? Why smile? Why laugh? Why do anything but suffer? Pain, hatred and sorrow was all she knew now, her only sense of happiness disappeared with Smallpaw. Cayonpaw made her happy, and she hated herself for it, and Tigerpaw was very nice and sweet, but why? Why did that have that affect on her? Her eyes looked towards Scrappaw, She disliked herself for being happy, Cayonpaw and Tigerpaw would most likely die like everything else she loved. The only thing she could keep alive was flowers, why? Because, at least in the end they grew back. Her wonderful father had told her that was the reason her mother loved flowers so much as well, because in the end they never left you truly.
“I forgive no one” She meowed quietly, a darkness in her voice, she didn’t feel like being nice right now, “And I am not your mate” She pointed out, she was a medicine cat she wasn’t allowed to love now and it was all her shoulder’s fault. Not that she would love anyway, if she did they’d end up so very dead just for her love. Everything she loved died; losing someone else would drive her enough to kill herself. She had once tried to kill herself, but she failed so very badly because she was still here. “But I can pull it out” She meowed, she glared towards the shining piece of what-ever was in his paw. She placed her paw against his and moved it to the ground stepping lightly on it and reaching down she grabbed onto the piece with her teeth and moved to tear it out.

Tigerpaw glared into Scrappaw from behind him, coming from the fresh-kill pile after he had dropped off his collasall vole he caught. "She isn't your mate." He growled at him,his tail flicking back and forth a bit restlessly. He rushed inside the den, pulling off a few cobwebs and the one bell-shaped comfrey. He trudged back out,he blushed,he knew some of the basics of medicine, his Uncle taught him before he became a loner. "E-e-rr.. Long story... I'll tell you after you help Scrappaw." Tigerpaw just hoped he pulled out the right things,Leafsong would probably be the best choice of cat right now. He thought too himself.

Scrappaw blinked in confusion. Why was this cat so cold? Why did she show no kindness? Well, it may have been the obvious "bad history", but what Scrappaw didn't realize with that was how can no one else let go of the past and start anew? The young warrior had his own troubles, but it wasn't a problem for him to just push it away. He wished that everyone could see what he saw- the world be a so much better place. Everyone would be happy, no sadness, and there would be no anger of the past to spawn hatred and start a fight. Realizing that the world wouldn't find out for itself, Scrappaw decided he should be the one to make that happen, then his wish would come true; he would start by making this sorrowful cat happy.
His thoughts came to a stop when he heard Ravenpaw reply, giving him a dark answer. Even though she was going to help the golden tom, she seemed angered by what he said. Mate. No one but his mother would understand his speech, and it was a force of habit. Seems like making friends with Ravenpaw was not coming to a good start. "No no I'm sorry, I don't mean 'Mate' as in my lover. When I say mate, it just means "fellow cat", or even friend to those that call themselves my friend. Course, I don't got any friends." Scrappaw explained to Ravenpaw. Even though he explained what mate meant to him, he expected no happy reply. Maybe referring to his loneliness would spice things up and grab Ravenpaw's attention.
The young medic cat proceeded to take out the shiny object out of his paw with her teeth, and after a yank or two, it slid out of Scrappaw, dragging a splinter of blood with it. Shaking his paw in relief, the warrior meowed thankfully to Ravenpaw. Then his ear twitched at the sound of a new voice, and turned his head to see another young cat with a vole in his teeth glare at him, stating Scrappaw wasn't his mate. With a sigh, the golden warrior looked into the new face's eyes. "I just explained to Ravenpaw, I don't mean mate like a lover. So don't take it up the butt and lighten up mate." Scrappaw meowed to the new one, though as much as he wanted to keep friendly with him, he felt as though this guy was trouble; as if he was squeezing into his territory where only his emotions reside.

{You see we already made decisions that Tigerpaw would be her mate when they become warriors. But you can always try..} Tigerpaw let out a hiss, shuffling the cobwebs too Ravenpaw, his tail flicking on her shoulder lightly, seeing it wasn't her bad shoulder he rested his tail on her good shoulder,"Yes though you will not be hitten by me or Ravenpaw," He glanced at Ravenpaw, flicking a small smile at her,"Watch for the others. As Twilightstar's apprentice I do warn you some will take offense for it and I'd like too see the clan not in uproars on someone calling them "mate"." Tigerpaw held his funny little Smallpaw smile though.

((Scrappaw want's to post next, but his comp is being evil so waitt)) Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw frowned ever so slightly, but at least it was only a frown now and not a scowl but at least a frown. She nodded her head at Scrappaw, she understood his saying a bit better now, but still she couldn't have a mate she was medicine cat apprentice, that would be wrong?! Well she was never one to follow the rules, bending it a little would be normal for her, but still she couldn't screw this up. If she lost her place as medicine cat apprentice, no matter how much she is still bugged about it, she couldn't lost it, why? She didn't want to be an elder, being an elder at her age was far worst then anything else. Ravenpaw's icy blue eyes looked towards Tigerpaw, it was true she took offense to it at first, but having a random spasm like that was just... well random. But it didn't matter, she took the herbs she had before her and place them upon his paw, then she took the cobwebs quietly and wrapped up Scrappaw's paw, "There" She meowed quietly to Scrappaw, "I fixed it" She muttered, her first patient... well second Wolftail was her first, her icy blue eyes casted to the cats in front of her, she looked back to the Medicine cat's den, would she go in now? Or just wait?

Scrappaw blinked curiously to Tigerpaw's sudden hissing. Then he realized his presence wasn't exactly helping anything or anyone, and it also seemed whatever he said would piss someone off, whether he was talking to them or not. Was his speech pattern the reason he couldn't make friends? Or was he just plain bad luck? Was he even wanted? Would he ever be missed if he left the clan for scraps for too long? So much questions and doubt was entering the mind of the young warrior, it was sort of bringing him down. He glanced over at Ravenpaw and Tigerpaw. The latter was smiling a rather funny smile; one that fused satisfaction and a cruel sense of humour into one. On the other hand, the former looked liked she was deciding on something. From the way she acted around Scrappaw, it probably was related to finding someway to leave him.
The golden warrior seemed to suddenly lose the luster in his fur, going from it's usual glowing gold to a pale, rusty yellow colour. As his ears fell to to sides of his head, he gave a sigh and looked to his now healing paw that Ravenpaw fixed. Right now, wondering about what will happen with his paw wasn't on his mind. "Yeah, got'cha." He meowed weakly to Tigerpaw, not looking him in the eyes. "Thanks for fixing my foot, Ravenpaw." Scrappaw continued. He didn't look her in the eyes either, feeling the realization hit him right in his spine. He picked up the rusty rod he found and padded over to his scrapile.

Ravenpaw~Time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw frowned slightly, what was Tigerpaw's problem, was he jealous? Who knew, she didn't care to much, she needed to avoid them at all cost. Even Cayonpaw, she needed to stop right now. Dead be yours. Her twin pools of dark icy blue watched them quietly, she needed to get away, her head light-headed, feeling rather dizzy. She looked at Scrappaw as he spoke, "Your welcome" She said quietly. Ravenpaw winced her head hurting, 'what was wrong now?' she could only wonder. She got up and wandered off quietly, perhaps she should talk with Shadowsong, but what would she say, 'Hey Shadowsong listen i'm sorry about breaking your heart now can you at least teach me something?!' oh yes that would go over very well. Ravenpaw shook her head, she couldn't jsut waltz in and say something, no she shouldn't have to should she?! NO! She did nothing wrong, it's not her fault her mentor is stuck up and selfish. She sighed quietly and lowered her gaze casting it towards the medicine cat's den. What would she do now? Sit and try again later..
