Streakpaw sighed, how could it be that he was so close to getting his name, what would his name be? Streakfang? Streakleg? Streakpelt? Maybe even Streaknose? No that one was just plain silly, his nose wasn't even streaky. He chuckled a bit and sighed again. Where was his mentor when he needed some extra training? Sure he had mastered how to hunt and fight with his leg the way it was, but still there had to be something.. more? Something out there for him? Something... but what? Would he fall in love? Have a family of his own? He missed his mother instantly upon thinking that. He had came to this clan in hopes of helping his mother but.. would he ever see her again?

The monster that claimed his leg also claimed the fear in his mother's heart. She had almost lost him, which was why she left him here, so he would be safe. But he was safe, always had been. But now he was lonely, he could go talk with Quietpaw, but.. well she didn't talk at all and well it was rather annoying, and then there was Skyleaper, but he was a bit insane if you asked Streakpaw. And then Emberfall, she was really nice but there was something about the way she treated Jayflame that told another story about her, he wondered what had happened. And then Nightsong was pregnant, he wondered when the kits would come?

Streakpaw sighed, with so much on his mind, he just wished he could sit back and relax, what would today bring? What of tomorrow?

She'd told her mother she was off to hunt because she was good at it and Flarepaw and Morningpaw had decided to stay back at camp and clean the elders. Bah. Who in their right mind would want to clean the elders? They always moaned and complained. It annoyed Lunarpaw. She was never going to let herself get that old, no! That just wasn't cricket! Lunarpaw would remain young and youthful, always, and she would never complain her joints hurted. That was for old cats to do, and Lunarpaw didn't want to be an old cat. That would just suck. As the she-cat neared the border (she fancied playing a little dance with danger today), she saw another cat. Ears pricking up in slight curiosity, she padded slowly towards them. The pelt was instantly recogniseable as Streakpaw. Lunarpaw didn't really know the tom other than brief hellos in camp. "Yo! Streakpaw!" she shouted, taking a few bounds towards him. "Mind if I join ye?" ((damnit I kept writing Steakpaw ))

Streakpaw blinked he looked up and seen Lunarpaw, "Sure" He said smiling a bit, he was glad someone would talk with him, he himself having gotten rather bored, merely sitting and waiting, he was still plundering about what in Starclan he's name could be. But that had gotten rather boring, he left off at Streakwillow, and he reallllllyy didn't like that named. Another thought crossed his mind, what if he became leader someday? Streakstar! But that was a childish hope, something that would never happen to a cat like him. Never. Streakpaw smiled looking at her with his lime green eyes, his tiger stripped fur shimmered the sun. "I would be insulted if you didn't join me" He said happily.
