Graystorm sat up from his spot in the clearing. When he had fallen asleep there had been the sun on his back, warming him greatly. Now there was no sun but shade as the sun had moved considerably since he fell asleep. Graystorm's yellow eyes wandered through the clearing. It must be sunhigh by now, he had fallen asleep after an early patrol this morning. Yawning he stretched his limbs into the point of almost pain and then relaxed them again. Glancing to his left he noticed that the sun was only a few fox lengths away from him. With a groan he walked towards the sun and once again lay down, getting ready for an uneventful day.
Graystorm liked his smooth pelt, making sure there were no tangles throughout. This was not a hard task because of the short length but everyonce and a while Graystorm was annoyed by a pesky piece of fur that decided it would rather be tangled with another. Luckily there was no tangles this time and Graystorm was free to let his mind wander, ignoring all other movements within the clan.

"Hallowkit! How many times have I told you, not to jump on other queens!", One she-cat yelled as a black and orange kit shot out of the nursery with a smirk on its face. Her bright orange tail waved proudly and slowly stopped herself to look around with a look of energy in her dark orange eyes. Yup. Hallowkit was one of those motherless kits that had gotten into everyday trouble and has showed no sign of slowing down. Sure, she wasn't always the "Prefect" Kit that her mother wanted...but then that came up a little too late for her case.
Hallowkit's father wasn't the best parent either, since he was always downing her in almost everything she did or looked. But she was always a rebel, shrugging off anything that tried to hurt her and just continued to be a nuisance to most of her clan. Taking in the sound of her fellow clan members, the young kit pin pointed a gray tom that laid under the ever shifting sun and her dark orange eyes lit up with joy. Graystorm. So many times had the young kit toyed with him and so many times did the tom fuss or try to keep his nerve, it gave Hallowkit quite a jolt of energy to see him. Breaking into a sprint, the black and orange kit run toward the warrior with such speed, you would think she was a flash of fur.
"Graystorm! Graystorm! Guess what I did!" Hallowkit nearly screeched, halting herself in front of him while just leaving two mouse lengths between them with her tail raised high in the air. Her face was just beaming with energy and showed no sighs of bordom as she begin to poke the tom with one paw.

Graystorm blinked in shock as he heard his name called out. What in StarClan? Graystorm was about to look thoughout the clearing for the caller when a kit tumbled towards him. Ah, it was just Hallowkit. The kit that everyone had to love. It was almost impossible not to. She was always racing around, often causing problems, but making friends with her clanmates along the way.
"What'd you do this time Hallowkit?" Graystorm asked, keeping his tone as light as possible. Graystorm always had a soft spot for any kit, they were just too innocent to know any better.

Hallowkit smiled for a moment, her dark orange eyes gleaming with pride and quickly withdrew her paw."I caught a mouse!" She spoke with a slight squeak in her voice, her tail literally high in the air. Too bad for her though, it was really a Queen's tail that she caught. Along with jumping on the poor thing and causing the queen to yowl in pain, which she had quickly moved away before she was nabbed by the tail. Her dark pelt seemed to glow abit under the moving sun, giving her a more energetic look as the young kit began to poke the ground with her paw.
"The mouse screamed though, so I let it go." Hallowkit added, slightly chuckling due to the two Queens reactions. Her orange ears flicked back, turning her head back to the nursery with a slight huff. She had always disliked being in the Nursery because of two things. One: The kits that were her age were never up to playing with her and Two: Her Mother's neglect. She kept her eye sight on the Nursery for a little more before turning her head back to Graystorm with a wide grin on her muzzle.
