What a gorgerous evening, Mango thought quietly while she was busy stalking a squirrel. Its bushy orange tail was unruffled with unease. It was not aware of her, an upcoming danger. Slowly creeping closer and closer, she pushed her hindlegs hard in the midair, a powerful, flawless leap, until her claws sank through the squirrel's fur. Its eyes were wide in shock and fear, but the gray tabby she-cat made no notice. She saw it many times before and she did not care. Panting effortlessly, she heard a voice behind her. She did not turn around. There was a brief smirk on her lips as she licked the blood off. Glancing in the far distance, she whispered, "Shadow? Can't stop stalking me, huh?"
She only had known the black tom for a few days. He was no friend, but a traveling companion. She did not mind him following her, but she still cannot ignore the nagging feeling of being annoyed. This tom somehow annoyed her and she did not know why. But she did not show it.

Another evening wasted, along with another nuisance to watch over. A tom thought with a silent frown, slowly padding his way through the forest that was already losing it proud leaves. His paws now barely hearable to only a few, his movements more steathful and silent with his hard yellow eyes slightly narrowed in discuss. Shadow was gaining close to ten moons, which was quite a goal for most strays that started out as kits. But him however, he didn't care about that and more over, didn't pay it any mind. As far as he was concerned, he was alive and ready to fight.
His friendship with both Scar and Mango was quite dim, since he had never been the type of cat to even talk to anyone or even speak a kind thought. Lucky for him though, scar did most of the talking while the three was travailing together and was mostly never around when they were chatting. But today, fate has once again set himself toward Mango with a slight hopeful and annoyed mood. Mango. Another word he had yet to get off his mind, even as he glanced at the gray she-cat, he would feel yet another emotion that sent himself on the edge. He couldn't understand it, why would he feel this way and why was he so...slightly happy to see her? Shadow shook his head in discuss, soon catching the she-cat's scent and padded toward her with a slight smirk on his muzzle.
"I see that you been keeping yourself amused." Shadow spoke in a rough tone, appearing from the bushes that shielded the appearance of Mango and padded toward her a few paw steps before stopping with a flick of his long black tail. "And I see you've caught a squirrel too. That's nice." He added, his torn ear flicking back a bit as he spoke.

Mango rolled her eyes absentmindedly before she turned around to face Shadow. Her traveling companion looked just the same as the first day she met him and Scar. Scar did the most talking, yes, and she found that a bit annoying. She wished the tom would stop talking and keep quiet like Shadow. After all, Shadow and Scar are way better than her brothers. Ugh, she did not like to remember her brothers. They ruined her life literally, but no one knew. And she certainly wanted to keep that that way for good.
She tilted her head to either side and raised an eyebrow, "Yeah, a squirrel is nice to catch, but I once caught a full-grown deer with a group of rogues." She was curious to see what was his reaction. She was no surprised if he was shocked or speechless. All rogues she met before were shocked in amazement. Usually, she would not share her experiences and tales, but she definitely loves to brag.

(It's Fine with me ) Shadow flicked his tail, hearing Mango's words with a slight look of boredom in his eyes and simply looked up to the tree tops. A deer huh? Now I wouldn't trust a bunch of low-lying, worthless rouges..but why spoil it?, the black tom thought as his hard yellow gaze returned to the gray tabby and smirked a bit at his own answer. Because I really don't care. Half closing his eyes, the tom slowly sat down with his long black tail wrapping around his front paws and let out a small grunt. "So you caught a deer with a group of rouges?", He spoke, his voice aimed more on sarcasm then amazement as his smirk formed into a grin. "Then maybe you caught a large beaver too?" He added, chuckling in his mind while getting up again with his tail unwrapping from his paws. Shadow was still stuck in the "I don't care" mood, even though that mood would be cut in half by another feeling that would not stop bugging him. His scar was still showing greatly on his right side, reminding him of his younger and more cruel of moons. Flicking his torn ear, the black tom padded forward a few steps away from the she-cat before glancing back with a now blank look in his eyes. Mango....Why do I even bother talking with her?, the tom grunted in his mind before again, sitting down with his long black tail nearly slamming the ground with a thud.

A bit surprised, but mostly amused, Mango ignored Shadow's ignorant attitude. He did not seem like a cat that would be swayed by words and actions. Just another typical rogue, the thought appeared on its own. This tom bored her already, but somehow, something about him amused her. No, no, no. Pushing the feeling away, she returned to her empty, heartless self.
No cat could join her lone circle. Long time ago, she learned that if you get yourself attached to someone, your heart and soul is theirs. She had seen so many mothers dying for their kits. So many siblings strived to keep each other alive. So many best friends stick together. All of them died in the end. There was no happy ending...she knew that deep in her heart.
She watched one of her rogues falling in love with another rogue. They stayed together for a while and then one day, the couple grew apart. There was extreme pain in the rogue's eyes. That troubled Mango greatly. There was nothing worse than your greatest enemy clawing your eyes out than being heartbroken.
"Indeed," Mango sat down, her tail lying softly on her gray paws. Glancing in the sky, she looked wistful, out in her own world. "Beaver?" She thought to herself. "I never caught one. Maybe we should catch one someday."
Yes, the rogue was Mango, herself. Heartbroken and abandoned by her mate, she was forced to walk alone. That was all in the past. Erasing the memory, Mango looked into Shadow's eyes and tried to detect any emotion.

Shadow's gaze shifted over to Mango, quite a bit shocked by the she-cat confirming what he spoke and flicked his torned ear which a somewhat smirk on his face. That smirk again. It was the same smirk he did before when he first came across the gray tabby, which some how, made the she-cat come to him instead of the other way around. As soon as he thought of it though, that feeling creeped its way into his pelt and that smirk quickly disappeared with a huff. Again! Why do I always get that sudden buzz in my head?! The black tom thought, suddenlly finding himself fighting the feeling off like trying to evade a fox while being out in the open fields.
His hard yellow eyes closed, refusing to let it creep up on him again and after a few cold thoughts and another huff, opened them again to relief. It was hard really, fighting that curtain feeling of "Like or somewhat like" and keeping a cold, hateful look at the same time. It was almost tiresome to even keep it going, even when he was alone. But everytime he even looked at Mango, it was like his whole world seemed to stop in place. And as he did glance over at the gray tabby, he noted every detail of her body as flawless beauty. Which again, his gaze had to shift to something else to keep from letting that buggy feeling take hold of him.
Poor Shadow. He had really no one to really care for, though in some cases, Scar was slightly at a maybe in his mind. His tail even twitched, turning his head to Mango for yet the third time and this time, caught the she-cat staring back at him with mixed feelings in them. This caught his eyes even more, which sadly, led him to say the words: "Well. I see something is wrong in you? So? What's wrong?".
Boy, Shadow did not mean to say that or say it in a tone that was not of his nature. Calm? Nice? What was I thinking.... He thought, wishing to take back what he had said. But then again, this would be the first time he had ever spoke this way to anyone. Not to mention the fact that he HAD NEVER spoke this way to Scar before. Taking that into account, Shadow shifted his body to face Mango and with his tail wrapped around his paws, waited to hear her reply.

"Well. I see something is wrong in you? So? What's wrong?"
This came from Shadow? Only a few days she got to know a bit more about him. She knew enough to know that it was not in his nature to be kind and caring toward any cat. To be honest, this sudden change in the tom's attitude made her anxious. She was afraid of what would be the outcome. Usually, she knew what cats are, but not this one. He was unpredictable.
This gave her a simple excuse not to trust this tom. Even when he asked her what's wrong, it was not simple as that. She still did not want to tell him what was on her mind and her feelings. Yet, somehow, she felt that tiny sparkle that out of every rogue in the whole world, this one would care.
Care? Pfft. Shadow only might cared for once, but it will not last. At his reply, she said nothing.

The black tom's yellow gaze seemed to lock onto Mango's, somewhat in a slight look of hope as he awaited the she-cat's reply. But as the silence between them seemed to drag on forever, Shadow's hope instantly froze and his eyes once again turned hard with a lash of his tail. A simple question that was out of the blue, kind words that seemed to slightly linger from his dark mind was blowing away in the dust. His eyes soon turned cold and give out such a snarl that you would think he had a cold or something, getting up with another lash of his long black tail.
"So you won't answer me, huh? A question that's so simple, that even kittypets could answer!" His eyes grew dark for a moment before closing them, his voice echoing the anger he felt but also hid the slight hurt that chipped away a bit of trust from himself. Shadow had to force his pelt down, which was beginning to stand on ends and slowly calmed himself again. He couldn't help but see that this she-cat was never going to see eye to eye and in his mind, could never find peace within himself again. His pelt now flattened and his tail nearly touching the ground, the black tom gazed at Mango again with a more blank look. Your still like all the she-cats...but...why? He asked himself, turning his head to look at the forest behind him and spoke in his now rough but calm tone. "Whatever. I see I just wasted my words on someone who clearly needs none of."
Turning around, Shadow's paw steps lead him near a bush that covered yet another path and huffed again with his long black tail slightly at body level. He acted like another rouge, one that would yell at anyone without a second thought and didn't really care who it hurt. But not him, he at least knew how to give a she-cat some bit of respect. This was different though, as if this time, he was more hurt then angered and as his gaze fell back onto Mango, narrowed them. "I'll be at the big tree, one that has been marked by those Clan lovers. Come find me if you even care." He spoke, giving a sting on the last word before padding forward into the bushes and starting down the path toward the big tree with a flick of his tail.
So much for being nice....Sheesh. I need to stop thinking like this and get on with my life. Shadow thought silently, his eyes gazing down the path ahead of him and huffed. Face it, no one cares about anything anymore. So let it go.

Watching Shadow being himself once again, out of the trace of being nice, Mango knew that this did not last. Bingo. She watched him lashing out and got bristled out of his fur. She did not say anything in return because if she did...
Well, what if she did? What would happen? Mango's eyes burrowed in confusion. What would happen? Her mind did not function properly after that, but she realized this was fear. She was scared what would happen if she answered his simple question. It was so simple to answer, but instead, he flinched and retreated to his old self. This gave Mango a whole fresh persecptive on this tom. This tom was a bit different from other rogues she have met. Though he may be rude, she was a bit pleased that he still respect her. That gave her an impression.
Should she meet him at the tree?
Shaking her head, Mango formed a word in her head. No. She cannot follow him. She did not want to return to the world she once walked on ages ago. Not daring, she turned and walked the other way, but then a scent caught her nose.
Fox! Her mind screamed at her to run, but she was completely frozen. The fox jumped on her, its jaws right in her neck. She groaned loudly, her claws digging in its dark ginger fur. "Get off me, you dumb foxdung!" She tried a couple of times, but she felt her strength weakening.
She lived her whole life surviving a lot of wars and battles with other rogues. She escaped death many times and now this? She will die in the fox's paws unless someone come in and help her. She suddenly regretted not talking to Shadow as she closed her eyes and waited for the final breath to come.

"Get off me, you dumb fox dung!"
That familiar voice rang through the forest and the sudden yowl reached the black tom's ears within moments, stopping him in his tracks. It was Mango again, but her voice was more scared then calm and the scent of fox lingered in the air along with it. Mango! Shadow thought, a sudden panic came over him with a surge of fear. Another feeling he hadn't felt and gave the tom chills as he whipped around, bolting down the path toward the gray tabby in short but strong strides. Fear. He had never felt this feeling and yet...it came in such a rush that his mind knew that it was important. His fur also began to bristle, which meant another emotion was taking over. Anger.
Shadow bursted through the bushes with a snarl, finding Mango being held tight by the neck. The fox's jaws were clearly on her, growling and trying to shake her to bits. This fox was bigger then both of them but at the same time, seemed younger as well. The black tom's temper however, didn't care for all of that and as he's eyes grew into a darker yellow, all he cared about was killing it. Unsheathing his claws, the tom let out a echoing yowl and lunged at the fox's neck. His claws made contact with the fox's fur and with that grip, aimed his jaws onto the fox's most weakest point: the windpipe. As he locked his jaws onto the windpipe and closed hard, a yelp soon escaped the fox and it let go of the gray tabby. This however let it to flail wildly around, trying to shake off the black tom and snap at him at the same time.
Shadow would not give up though, his jaws still locking on the fox's windpipe and his claws digging in it's fur. This made the fox yelp even more and made a mad dash to a nearby tree, which was one of the foxes ways of getting rid of attacking foes. But within the last moment, the black tom released his grip on both the fur and windpipe, falling onto the ground with his back to it. A hiss carried from his mouth but was soon followed by a sudden crash and a loud yelp sound. It was the fox, stumbling back while shaking its head from the impact.
Shadow quickly got back on his paws, snarling and hissing at the fox with rage. He had to keep it away from Mango, but the question was How? His long black tail lashed in the air, clearly making his point that he would fight no matter what. The fox made one more shake of it's head before turning around to face the black tom, his teeth fully showing. It was indeed angry and snarled back with a snap of it's teeth. Heh...Dumb fox. Shadow snarled in his mind as the fox lunged forward and tried to bite the tom. He was able to move out of the way, but the fox made sure it didn't miss completely. Shadow's tail was soon caught, sending a surge of pain through his spine and yowled in response. He tried to keep his claws in the ground to keep from being pulled, but it was too late as the fox pulled him quickly and threw him into a tree. Shadow nearly let out another yowl as he hit the tree hard from his right side, falling to the ground with blood trailing on the tree. Crap....Not again... Shadow struggled to get up, his scar clearly open again and blood slowly dripped from it. A snarl echoed from the fox, it's mouth wide open but was unaware of Mango. The black tom faced the fox, his blood marking the ground as he let out a snarl of his own and unsteathed his claws yet again. He was prepared to die in order to protect another and in this case, it was Mango. "Ugh! Come on you ugly piece of Mouse dung! Show me what you can do!" He yowled, readying himself for another attack.

((That is...amazing! I love it!)) Keeping her eyes tightly shut, she waited for that final breath to come, but it never came. At last, she felt the fox's jaws removed from her neck. She was thrown high in the midair. Her eyes opened wide as she tried to twist midway to find the right balance before reaching the ground. All of her paws were down as she landed on the ground with no problem, but her neck was killing her. She brought her tail to her neck and found no blood. Surprised, but much alive, she looked up and saw a cat.
Shadow...
He looked so noble, yet he looked scared out of his fur. Anger was pasted on his face. She watched him fighting against the fox. All of sudden, she realized this tom...
Saved. Her. Life.
This really hit her hard. No one would do that for another stranger. Not someone like Shadow. But she pushed her feelings away and jumped in the action when Shadow was ready for another fight.
Blinking her dark brown eyes, the gray tabby flung herself on the young fox, her slender, slim body on the fox's back. Her powerful jaws were on its windpipe. With a deadly bite, she growled inside its ear, "Never mess with me." Not with any mercy, she killed the fox. It fell and Mango fell back. She panted, looking at the fox with relief in her eyes.
A few minutes passed. Silence lingered. Looking up, panting still, she gave Shadow her true smile. The real one. Something appeared in her dark brown eyes. Respect. She truly respected him. "You saved my life. Why?"

Shadow readied himself as the large fox growled, clearly wanting the black tom dead. But his yellow eyes soon caught a gleams of gray fur and smirked as he found out who it was. It was Mango. He had bought her enough time to recover and at the same time, showed himself that he wasn't a weak coward like all those other rouges out there. His gaze was locked on the gray tabby as she delivered the killing blow to the fox, biting it on the windpipe as what he had done to release Mango from it. As it fell to the ground, he himself fell backwards into a sitting position with a slightly heavy pant of his own and glanced at his long scar on his right side.
It was slightly open but thankfully, only a few drops a blood at a time and let out a small chuckle. Heh..too close for comfort. Shadow thought, returning his gaze to the now panting she-cat. Though, as she met his eyes, he could suddenly see a strong feeling in them. That and a smile that he had never seen before. This again, sparked that same feeling but this time, he didn't fight it back.
"You saved my life. Why?"
He really didn't know why. All he knew in his mind was to protect another from dieing, even if he died trying. He looked away for a moment, trying to find the words to say and flicked his tail slightly. After about a few more mins and slight pain grabbing his spine, he turned his head back to Mango with a flick of his torn ear. "Well. It's because I cared." Shadow spoke simply, his voice oddly without the rough tone he usually had and turned to begin licking the blood. Otherwise, his already short pelt would become even more matted then it already was. But he had to pause at the question, Was it because of just that...or was it something more? Either way, the black tom wasn't in that sort of mood to answer it and instead, was too worried about his scar to even put a thought to it.

"Well. It's because I cared."
That was his answer. Minutes ago, she would think the words mean nothing. Now, this time, she really believed him. His herotic action proved her that he actually cared. Him saving her life mean so much to her. She really owned him.
Watching him licking his own old scar, Mango walked closer to him. All old, familiar pains were crumbling away. Her closed circle was finally opening up, loosening a bit. She sat down next to him and told him this, "Thank you for caring." She gave him another smile, "I really mean it."
Glancing down at his scar, she asked him, "Are you okay?" There was not much blood, but she wanted to make sure he was all right.

Shadow flicked his ears slightly, hearing Mango's words that flowed with a soft tone and couldn't help but smirk again. This she-cat, one that had a different look to her, was already giving him something that he was longing for since his kit hood. Respect. How sweet it was for him to receive it from her and gave him a slight peace in mind to trust another. This was once again rare for him to act like this, but then again, he had never trusted Scar in the first place.
Finishing his grooming to his now healing scar, Shadow raised his head with a slight twitch of his whiskers and looked at Mango. His smirk was still planted on his muzzle, as he glazed into the gray tabby's eyes and nodded calmly. "I'm fine. It's just a scratch." He answered, his tail waving a bit and turned his head back to the fox. A thought about another fox lingered in his mind and not really noticing how close Mango was, stood up on all fours with his tail raised in the air.
"We should go. Before another fox finds us." The black tom spoke, his voice a little rough but at the same time calm. Shadow turned back toward the path he was once heading down and glanced over his shoulder at Mango with the flick of his torn ear. "You coming?" He asked, half closing his eyes a bit before turning his head again with a flick of his tail.

Mango let her fur laid down, letting a relieved sigh out. She was glad to know that she had Shadow as her friend. A real friend. That is really nice to have somebody's back and know that you can trust that cat. Nodding, she told him, noticing his smirks, "Absolutely."
Standing up, she began to follow him. Hiding a smile from him, she was really, really, really happy to know that Shadow is her friend.
Wait. A. Minute.
It is too quick for her. She tumbled backwards in her closed, tight circle. She cannot trust Shadow that quickly. She could not. Shuddering mentally, she only gave him another brief nod, keeping her emotions and feelings in check.

Shadow heard Mango's voice and simply flicked his torn ear back, already padding down the path toward the big tree. Though, as he continued to move along the path, he really didn't take quite a notice to the she-cat's sudden withdraw. He was too much set on keeping his eyes on the things around him to really pay much attention to her. His long black tail twitching slightly while his hard yellow eyes glanced left and right with a huff. His mood was once again back, the frown on his muzzle was slightly visible and his movements was calm but strong steps.
No one could really tell that he was thinking. Thinking of how it would of ended, with him and with Mango. "Sheesh....why did she have to get in trouble...It was almost as if someone set it up that way..." Shadow thought, a grunt escaped his throat as he stopped with his head raised up a bit. A mouse. It's sounds barely reaching his ears but noisy enough to be heard, which pleased the black tom as a smirk slightly appeared on his muzzle. His head turned slightly around toward Mango, both of his ears folding back just a bit and huffed. "I'll be back. Stay here." He spoke plainly, turning his head back toward the sound and quickly bolted to the side of the path. He really didn't look back as he disappeared through the bushes and padded toward the sounds.

((Sure!!!! Blazey, it is on!)) Mango nodded briskly after the black tom. As he disappeared out of her sight, she let out a long sigh. What was she thinking? She could not bear to let her circle open and welcome him in. She promised herself a long time ago she would not let any tom catch her heart. No more. She do not want to go through that again.
Until again, she caught a scent in the air. She opened her mouth to taste it. It was familiar along with a bit of her scent as well. Her eyes opened wide as she heard her name...

"Hello Mango." The she-cat before him whipped around upon hearing him utter these words, looking quite shocked with her eyes wide and the one who spoke let out a cackle, relishing the fear that sparked in her eyes. "My, my, that young tom is quite good-looking isn't he?"Rovek chuckled in amusement, padding closer to his sister. His larger stature towered slightly over her as his dark blue eyes flashed. Although his mouth was twisted in a smile, the dark cold eyes did not match at all. His dark gray tabby pelt was quite nicely groomed, though deep, visible scars marred the sleek appearance. "Should you really be dating at a time like this?"Rovek meowed carelessly, shaking his head in mock disapproval. His right ear, which seemed to be broken and slightly torn, flopped around uselessly as he shook his head.

Mango was not afraid of anyone in her life. Except for...
"Rovek." She whispered the name coldly.
The only cat in the whole world that Mango was truly afraid of was her own brother. Her own brother was a very sick cat with reckless intentions, but he was no fool. She knew him well as if he was herself. Shuddering, her brother was nothing like her.
Even she loved him dearly, he was the devil. "He is nothing. Only another rogue passing by," she explained softly and calmly as possible. The last time she met him was not on friendly terms. The last two times she met him was breaking his jaw and declining his offer to join his group along with her exiled tribe cats. There was bound to be trouble.

Shadow's movements toward the mouse in hiding was both quiet and swift. His mind focused on the ever quiet steps of the mouse, flicking his torn ear back a few times as he moved closer to it. His pelt seemed to bristle though, a feeling of anger surging through him and his yellow eyes hardened with a heavy huff. Something was wrong, his body was inching to turn back to find out why. But he was already close to the mouse, seeing it's furry pelt and changed his mind. His anger however, made his lack of patience short and lunged at the mouse without thinking it through. He narrowly missed the mouse as it started to run, but his right paw that was fully unsheathed had pinned the mouse's tail in place. A smirk showed on his muzzle again, but not the one he had with Mango. Evil was marked on this one while his eyes sparked pure anger, his left paw slowly rising up. His claws glowed dimly under the sunset's light and with his left claws quickly unsheathed, lashed at the mouse's side. It squeaked a painful tone before falling to it's side, eyes wide open. Shadow's smirk still showed, his eyes shifting to his left paw that was dripping with blood. Just like before..
The black tom glanced back at the dead prey, thinking for a moment before turning around and slowly padding away. He would have bought Mango that mouse, but he didn't want her to see the pure anger that still welled inside of him. The mouse would have proved that. His pure black pelt was starting to lay flat, but the anger in his eyes still sparked something more and had not dimmed yet. He was only this angry at two things.
One: He hated other rouges that caused trouble and Two: Those who didn't care at all.
Too bad for him though, stopping cold as he heard yet another voice besides Mango's and opened his mouth to a scent of pure hate. Shadow let out a slight snarl, suddenly more annoyed then ever. His body had tensed a bit before he had to silence himself fully in order to calm down. Scar had always told him not to piss other rouges off, unless they start to attack you. Yea. He did pay attention to him, even though the Use to be a Clan cat had always shifted his anger a bit. Letting out a huff, the black tom padded forward until he pushed himself through the bush that covered the appearance of the two.
As if on cue, Shadow's eyes seemed to harden even more at the sight of the large tom and had to keep himself from getting angry again. Another worthless rouge! This day gets better and better. He hissed in his mind, once again finding himself annoyed then angered as his long black tail lashed a bit. His eyes shifted to Mango though, seeing fear in her eyes and had to question that in his mind. Why fear him? Does he scare you that much?Shadow couldn't understand it, since fear was the last thing on his mind and turned his eyes back onto the large tom. "So Who is this?" He asked Mango, though his words grew cold as he spoke them and his eyes dimmed with slight annoyance.

As Shadow showed up again, she felt an urge to protect the black tom. Her maternal instinct kicked in, craving her to protect the black rogue. It was the feeling she had not felt for a very long time. She absolutely had no idea why she felt this way.
However, she knew this one thing.
Her brother was going to cause trouble. She could feel it coming. A master at hiding her emotions, she gave shelter to her fear and only showed an empty glance in her dark brown eyes.
She answered Shadow's question, looking at him impassively, "That is Rovek." And my brother, but she did not tell him that. She gave Shadow a warning glance, a quick look that stated this, Don't mess with him. He is no fool. She was sure that her brother noticed it too.

Rovek let out a mirthless laugh that, again, did not match his cold, metallic blue eyes. "Well, no need to greet me with that glare,"the dark gray tabby tom prompted. "I was so sure a sweet cat like you would at least greet her brother with kindness."
The tom's good ear swiveled to the side as he heard rustling. A young, jet black tom emerged from the bushes. Rovek could sense angry vibes from the newcomer that it was almost tangible in the air. It surely amused him.
"Heh, sorry to interrupt your date. Just thought I'd like to see Mango again,"the dark tabby tom meowed to Shadow, giving the younger tom a mock bow of politeness. "Might want to be careful around Mango if I were you,"Rovek added with a light warning, though his tone seemed to hold some dark irony. As he said this, the tom shifted his lower jaw, grinding his teeth slightly. It seemed he hadn't forgotten what Mango had done to him in the past.

Mango wished that Rovek would shut up, but she knew he would not do that. She was more than happy to break his jaw again if it would mean to get him out of here. However, again, this was not her. She did not want to get in more trouble. She had enough.
Closing her eyes, she tried to think quickly. The more faster, the better it will be. "Rovek, what do you want?"

Shadow flicked his torn ear back as Rovek spoke, his mood slightly changing but the anger still held in his hard yellow eyes. Rovek's movements and his cold metallic blue eyes, only told the black tom what he needed to know. Trouble was coming. The black tom's long tail twitched with the sudden need to strike the dark gray tabby, his body seemed to slightly tense as well. But with a glance at Mango, he simply sat down with his tail laying at his right side and silently watched them both.
Shadow was not the type to start fights, nor was he the type to back down from them. Even so, Rovek was so close to matching his father Terror that all the black tom wanted was to see Rovek dead. The size didn't quite help him either, seeing the older tom for the same height as he cold and cruel father was. As Mango asked a question to the older tom, his mind seemed fixed on the small warning that Rovek gave and simly let out a huff on his own thought out answer. Like I would listen to your words, you rotten piece of fox-dung! Lucky for Shadow, he did not dare say those words and instead flicked his torn ear back with a blank look now on his face.

"Well, do I really need a reason to visit my dear sister?"Rovek meowed, putting on a mock innocent tone, though his words rang with disgust along with his cold eyes that glared at Mango darkly. He let himself sit upon the ground, paws tucked in tightly while his tail wrapped around the curve of his body, the tip resting lightly on his tail. "I've waited long enough,"the dark gray tabby tom hissed to Mango, irritation tracing his voice. "I expect you to keep your side of the bargain,"he meowed. Though he didn't say it outright, it was clear he was referring to the time Mango offered to attack the Clans again.
Rovek's eyes travelled to the tom next to Mango, a faint gleam of amusement sparking his cold blue eyes. "What happened to your...ah...other companions? Surely he's not the only one left,"the tom meowed, wondering where the rest of Mango's rogues gone to.

Mango ignored his dry, sarasatic mocking humor. If he was trying to be funny, he sucked at it. Her shoulders tensed when he said he waited long enough. She knew what he was waiting for. Suddenly regretting what she did in the past, she knew she could not back off from this whole thing. Therefore, she was stuck. She wanted to lie badly, but she knew that lies got her in trouble. Trying to be honest now, she told him, "I left them. I left you." She remained calm as she told him this, "I don't want to follow a sick, closed-minded cat like you." She knew it very well that she insulted him. "You need to let this go, Rovek. What have they done to you anyway?"

Listening to the two of them talk, Shadow seemed more focused on Rovek then on Mango and huffed slightly when the older tom spoke of Mango's group. He had already knew what that meant, for the she-cat had spoke of the group of rouges she was with when they were alone. Though he didnt know much about it fully, the thought of her being with other rouges and the mention about Mango leading them was quite clear to him. The black tom also thought about the fact that Rovek was one of those toms that had no life what so ever, that and being crazy as well.
Shadow's long black tail twitched a bit at the nonsense that the dark gray tabby spoke in, Rovek's voice actting and failling in tones of both humor and innocences. It made the black tom sick to his very core. His hard yellow eyes sparked with a bit of anger and forced himself to keep calm. He really didn't want to lose it, not when Mango herself was trying to keep calm as well. Even with a hard glance at Mango, he could tell that she was also fed up with Rovek and wanted him gone. But hearing Mango's words, Shadow flicked his torn ear back and forced himself to keep silent. If only...Just give me one chance just to break his skull...Stupid Mouse-brain..

If Rovek was not going to say anything else, Mango had enough. Enough of his dumb mind games. Mango was finished here. With another gaze at Shadow, she did not say any polite farewell at her brother. She had no care if Rovek was going to follow her. She would run all around the world, even if it was all to take her brother away from her.
But, she was so tired of him following her all her life. She was really tired of running away from her brother. But she wanted to get away from him. One more time. Shadow? Was he following her? She did not know.
