The afternoon was a decently warm one; Yet the medicine cat still found herself in her den. No reason, no not at all. Perhaps the silence right now was a good thing. As Sagecloud went through her stock. She seemed to have a good amount of everything! While her whiskers twitched a little, she kept going over everything in her head. Right now was a good season, however she knew she was supposed to be prepared for anything. Sagecloud was not one to put up with failure for herself.
The silence went on for awhile, and now it seemed a burden to her. Yet she still stayed in her den; Reason? Unknown. Her paws sank into the ground, and she stretched then yawned. And after that, she sat down looking at her herbs with an emotionless mask. |

"it's all your fault!" A roaring yowl howled angrily through camp, easily heard by and and all, "No it's not!" A voice argued back, "I swear I thought the tree was going to fall!" the voice cried again, "YOU MOUSE BRAIN! A tree is rooted to the ground!" The roaring voice growled. It was none other then Leafmask and her silly twin brother Flamespirit, known for being together almost all the time, but also known for their arguments and playful rallys. Leafmask also known for her hatred of other she-cats and her flirtatious ways with toms, and Flamespirit known for his crazy and hyper personality. Leafmask appeared with her twin in the medicine cat's den, Flamespirit limped beside her, both looked like they had hurt their paws. Leafmask's flaring forest green eyes avoided looking towards Sagecloud and Flamespirit smiled towards Sagecloud his bright bluish green eyes shimmering, "Hey Sagecloud!" He said.

Sagecloud turned her head to the sound of a small commotion, if you will. She heard the arguing first, then saw the two. They were somewhat famous around the clan, these two. Never leaving their sides, yet always bickering about something. As the two came limping into the den, Sagecloud smiled a little, and sarcastically sighed.
Good afternoon, Flamespirit. As to you, Leafmask. She chuckled lightly. Looking at them, she checked for any blood; These fights seemed almost a regular schedule to Sagecloud. She didn't see anything from here, but had to ask. What's the worse we got here today, you two? Sagecloud asked. She went back to the herbs and grabbed a few poppy seeds, and dropped them in front of the two; It would ease a little of the pain.
Sagecloud looked at Leafmask for a second, noticing her never making eye contact. Leafmask, I really don't know why you hate me so much. She laughed. She then looked away. Sagecloud didn't push cats very much. She would have to accept that everyone liked her. She simply looked at Flamespirit now, smiling. |

Flamespirit chuckled a bit and dipped his head, Leafmask snorted a bit. "Sore legs!" Flamespirit groaned, "We fell!" He said, "Trying to get a squirrel, but I got stuck in the tree and Leafmask came up to help me but then the tree shook and I thought it was falling so I pushed us out of the tree!" He chuckled a bit. Leafmask groaned a bit, she cuffed him lightly casting him a blazing glare. Flamespirit smiled happily back at her flinching a bit when she smack him, "Ow!" he said. "In case you didn't notice I hate everyone" Leafmask said turning away, Flamespirit smiled at Sagecloud, "Ignore her, she's just mad" He said.

Sagecloud chuckled at their story. You guys have the weirdest adventures, I won't be surprised if you get into history because of them. She shook her coat, and then snickered a little. Just chew on the poppy seeds for awhile, it'll ease the pain.
Sagecloud looked at Leafmask, and smiled sweetly. Hate isn't good for the soul, you know. It cripples. She said, her voice cryptic. Her eyes then blinked at Flamespirit, his enthusiasm and excitement never dying. And they just fell out of a tree! Flamespirit had a bright heart, that was sure. When he spoke, Sagecloud simply chuckled. |

Flamespirit smiled with awe filling his bright eyes, "How cool would that be! Moon from now and kit will one day say, "Oh mother do tell us a story about Flamespirit the great! And Leafmask the wicked!" and it would just be aweeeeessssoommeee" He purred happily, Leafmask rolled her eyes and groaned once more, "You mouse brain" She swore lightly. "What!? You know it's true" Flamespirit laughed, "I wasn't denying it, I was merely making fun of you" Leafmask scowled, Flamespirit blinked, "You meanie!" He fake cried, then smiled at Sagecloud, "She's not very nice, but I love her anyways!" He said. Leafmask shot a glare at Sagecloud after hearing what she said, "My crumpled and shadowed heart makes up for my dying soul, boo hoo" she rolled her eyes and looked away.

Sagecloud chuckled as the two of them bickered once more, somehow worried she put an idea in Flamespirit's head. She closed her eyes and purred, smiling. When Flamespirit smiled at her, she simply chuckled. Then, looked to Leafmask. Don't talk like that. At least not around me. Sagecloud whispered, looking at her with intent eyes. She suddenly had a serious tone, and a face to go with it.
Leafmask, it really isn't healthy. That might be your end someday, your hatred. It's a fatal flaw. |

"Whatever" Leafmask meowed, a dark glint in her deep forest green eyes, she turned and limped off quietly, "Oh Leafmask!" Flamespirit sighed, he looked at Sagecloud, "I apologize profusely for her actions" he said rather serious for once then blinked did he even know the meaning of the word profusely, he wasn't sure, bit it sounded smart and forgive so yea. "She's in a bit of a bad mood" He said. Flamespirit looked at Sagecloud, fearing her words were true, until he seen a shiny thing in her den, "Ohhh shinyyy" he said completly distracted again.
