Hollypaw looked around camp quietly, her stunning green eyes searched, and searched for a pair of pale blue eyes, and light brown fur and some white patches. Hollypaw looked down at her own beautiful white fur, the grey spots on her back, and even her little grey paw. Flicking her ears, she looked towards the entrance, then towards the apprentices den. She missed hanging out with her friend Walnutpaw, she would never admit it, but she kind of maybe, possibly had a crush on him. She didn't want to ruin their friendship though and she didn't want him getting hurt or anything, worst of all she feared rejection. She was young, but she had lived so much, soon to be a warrior, she knew she could never pass, but she would try hard.
She wondered if she and Walnutpaw could ever be together? She pushed the thoughts aside as she looked around curiously, she wondered if he might agree to go hunting with her, or even just go for a small walk. She smiled sheepishly hoping he would say yes, when she found him anyways.

Sunlight streamed through the gaps of the apprentice den, creeping up slowly and shining upon his closed eyes. The young, light brown tom let out a sneeze, awakening to the bright sunshine and sudden warmth eminating from the light. His pale blue eyes opened, quickly shutting them tight when he realized the sunlight was shining directly into his eyes. He quickly rolled over in his nest, yawning widely as he blinked away the drowsiness from his eyes.
His ears flickered slightly as sounds of early activity in camp reached his ears. Another day of early green-leaf cheered him up slightly. Walnutpaw quickly got to his paws, stretched, and made his way out of the den. The clearing was bustling with activity already, and Walnutpaw felt a little embarrassed that he had just woken up. His eyes suddenly spotted a familiar she-cat and the tom bounded over eagerly. However, the clumsy tom suddenly tripped over his paws and stumbled, crashing into Hollypaw rather unceromoniously.

Hollypaw was lost in thought, she thought deeply about things going on in her life, she was the worst apprentice int he clan, no in Life... No in History of worst apprentices she was the worst! She could hardly swim, but she did save Walnutpaw's life, not that her mentor knew of that, and she hesitated when catching a mouse and her mentor yelled at her for it, but it was okay. She was determined to become a good warrior. But could she do it? Could she? She wasn't sure, her mentor told her to listen to the voice inside her to guide her. But all it ever told her was it was her fault that Wildsong was dead, her fault, she's guilty. She shook her head trying to clear her thoughts when suddenly she was knocked over, 'O-Opf!" She said stuttering, even when she fell she stuttered. She looked around with wide stunning green eyes. They landed upon Walnutpaw, "W-Walnutpaw?" She asked him curiously.

"Ow..."Walnutpaw groaned in pain, having landed face-first into the dirt. He quickly snapped his head up, spitting out dust.
"Oh! Hollypaw! I'm soo sorry!"he apologized, quickly distangling himself from his denmate and scurrying back a few steps. His fluffy face was now coated in dirt and looked somewhat flat from a fall. However, with a quick, vigorous shake like a dog, the dust fell from his fur and he looked back to normal.
"Ahh, are you hurt? Should we take you to see Waterlily?"the light brown tom whimpered, sniffing over Hollypaw to check for any wounds.
"Why am I such a klutz?!"he wailed, pale blue eyes filled with despair.

Hollypaw blinked, blushing as she realized they were tangled together, she blushed more trying to get out, Walnutpaw got them unstuck and she smiled sheepishly, her little heart racing in her small form. "I-I-It's okay" She stammered smiling, she was glad to see him all the same. She shook lightly, making some dust fly off, she checked herself carefully, she didn't feel sick, which was good, nor did she feel faint, a bit light-headed but nothing more. "N-No I am fine" She said. She blushed softly and smiled at him, "I-I am too" She said.

"Yea, but at least you don't go crashing into cats or tripping on flat ground,"Walnutpaw lamented, ears drooping down slightly. But his sad emotions quickly evaporated as he was able to glance at Hollypaw's sparkling green eyes.
Perking up, he mewed, "Are you doing anything today?".
However, before Hollypaw could answer, there was a shrill mewl that sounded near the nursery. A fluffy, light golden cat tumbled out of the entrance. Her fur was fluffed up and her tail stuck up. Her green eyes were alight with enthusiasm. Young Maplekit had awoken to a new day, and she was eager for some adventure. Her eyes instantly spotted Walnutpaw and Hollypaw and the young she-kit let out a yowl of greeting and quickly bounded over.
"HI!"she called happily.

"I-I understand" She said about the clumsy part, Hollypaw was rather clumsy herself, if only he knew how clumsy she was, but still she wouldn't say anything about it, she didn't want him to feel bad. Hollypaw thought about his question, she opened her mouth to answer him but was swiftly interrupted by a loud mew, she jumped when Maplekit screamed HI!!!! Really loudly, she fell over feeling faint, but remained awake frightened for a moment and then realized it was just Maplekit she stood up again looking at Walnutpaw and Maplekit he heart racing swiftly. "H-Hi" She said sheepishly still a bit light headed.

"Did I scare you?"the light ginger she-cat asked Hollypaw curiously, seeing the she-cat fall over at the sound of her greeting. Her head tilted to one side, gazing at the black-furred she-cat with her jade colored eyes.
"What are you doing out here?"Walnutpaw piped up, saving Hollypaw the trouble of answering. Though he didn't exactly fall over, the tom's heart had given a nasty jump as he, too, was startled by the appearance of Maplekit.
"I'm bored,"Maplekit complained, looking up at Hollypaw and Walntupaw with expectant eyes, as if hoping the two would solver her problem.

Hollypaw nodded her head, she hated the feeling of getting scared, her heart was racing, she felt light-headed, she felt sick again, from the bottom of her stomach to the nausea roaming in her head. She wanted to say something, but felt a bit dizzy so she kept quiet as they talked. She watched them forcing herself to finally calm down enough. "I-I-I um.. s-see" She stammered looking at Maplekit and then Walnutpaw and then down at the ground she had been hoping she could talk with just Walnutpaw, but she didn't want to upset Maplekit, though she was still unsure of what to say.

Walnutpaw twitched his ear uncomfortably, looking down at Maplekit's hopeful eyes with a twinge of discomfort in his belly.
"Um...I'm sorry we can't play with you now,"Walnutpaw mewed, feeling even more uncomfortable as the eager gleam in Maplekit's eyes was replaced by disappointment.
"Hollypaw and I have our apprentice duties. Maybe when we're done we can play,"the light brown tom suggested.
"Okay,"Maplekit replied lightly, though it didn't seem she was quite satisfied with that answer. The little kit turned around and trotted off back to the nursery.
"Aww, I hope she isn't too upset..."Walnutpaw mewed to Hollypaw.

Hollypaw looked at Maplekit understanding how she felt, she was always left out when her brothers and sister wanted to play, they would play by themselves and wouldn't let her join because she was always too sick. She had to stay with her mother. She looked towards Walnutpaw softly her stunning green eyes filled with worry. "M-Maybe we s-should play with her f-for a little b-b-bit?" She asked him sheepishly, though she didn't know if they could, she really wanted to make Maplekit happy, no matter how much she wanted to spend time with Walnutpaw, she sighed and looked down slightly.

Walnutpaw glanced at Hollypaw with uncertainty in his eyes. True, the light brown tom felt bad turning down Maplekit, yet their mentors might not be so keen as to have them play with a kit instead of doing their duties. However, as Walnutpaw opened his mouth to answer Hollypaw, Maplekit was suddenly dashing towards them, eyes alight with excitement.
"Yay! Let's start playing!"the young golden she-cat exclaimed happily. Evidently, it seemed she overheard Hollypaw.
"I wanna play hide-and-seek!"Maplekit meowed insistantly.

Hollypaw looked at Walnutpaw she knew it was a mistake to offer and he would tell her that they can't despite feeling bad. She knew Everlast would want to take her out again, she had just learned how to swim... well somewhat, but still, she should probably and Walnutpaw might go with his mentor, she really wanted to spend more time with him though. She was prepared to hear his answer, what she wasn't prepared for was Maplekit to come running over shouting. She gasped and jumped, "O-Oh my" She said, "O-Oh well I um.." She said she looked at Walunutpaw, "S-S-Should we?" She asked.

((Do you want to add in daringkit to this thread? cuz i was thinking they play hide-and-seek, but then the kits run into the forest and walnutpaw and hollypaw have to find them before they get in trouble  )) "C'mon! It'll be fun!!"Maplekit pressed the two older cats, her amber eyes gleaming with anticipation. "I-I guess it can't hurt...."Walnutpaw mumbled uncertaintly, shifting a doubtful glance towards Hollypaw. However, those words seemed to be convicing enough for the young kit. "Great!"the she-cat purred happily, let herself to an excited bounce. "We should call my brother! He'd love to play!"Maplekit mewed enthusiastically. |

Hollypaw smiled sheepishly as she looked towards Walnutpaw, "I-It can't hurt" she agreed lightly, she dipped her head a bit, "O-Okay" She said. "RAWRRRR!!" Daringkit roared loudly racing out of the den, "Stop thattt!" Everkit giggled chasing him. Hollypaw jumped when she heard the loud noise, it nearly stopped her heart and made her breath heavily, "Oh... o-o-oh my" she said forcing herself to calm down, she looked towards the sounds of Daringkit and Everkit the both were, just like Maplepaw, very loud when they wanted to be.
