~Where am I?~
Birds singing overhead, hidden withn the trees of bright green leaves and a few mice seemed to pay the young little feline no mind. Her kit like paws were gentle, which drew a perk when moving on the forest floor and all the while, feeling lost and out of place. Her light purple eyes seemed dazed with confusion as she aimlessly wandered the large forest in front of her, her slightly large ears twitching ever so slightly in both worry and fear. Her memory had failed her, her past gone and wiped clean. But a feeling of anger was left in her clouded mind, of betral and sorrow. Why? She herself did not know, for all she knew that time was indeed not..on her side.
~Who am I?~
Her light gray pelt was matted in so many ways, that she had even forgotten how to groom herself and left it be. Her ribs were clearly able to see, since she had even forgotten how to hunt and could only rely on other food scorces. Berries that tasted ok, to bits of grass. Even dead rats would do. She could not even catch a fish, though she wouldn't even dare to go near it anyway, due to her fear of water. Her looks were so frail, that you thought she was too frail to even live. But she had more then just mere luck to bring her by. She could climb trees, which surprised her at first but soon became her mark of both life and death. This skill got her by...even avoiding the eyes of the ever watchful forest cats.
~Why am I here?~
She had been watching these forest cats from high above on a tree. Though not many leaves were there to hide her, she made due by keeping silent. She knew not how to keep her scent from being caught. All she knew was to hide and move quietly. Yes, she had learned their names quite well...at least the name MoonClan she came to remeber well. She stopped for a moment, her head raised to the wind before slowly lowering it and continued padding forward again. She was quite good at this hiding thing, but felt so alone and lost withn herself.
She rememebr seeing the small kits, playing near other forest cats. They screamed with a happy tone, play fighting with each other and laughing all day. She sighed silently at this, feeling down and left out. She couldn't even rememebr the last play fight she had.
"Memories...if only I could remember them." Scarlet sighed, pausing in place. One of her front paws were up, mocking that of a hunting dog. "But it would be better if I can rememebr my own name...." She added, her voice clearly marked with depression and lowered her front paw to the ground. Her ears once again twitched abit, catching a sound not far and did the first thing that came to her mind. She bolted to a nearby tree.
~Am...Am I going to die?~
Her minded raced with fear as that something drew closer, her claws unsteathed as she leaped onto the side of the tree and gripped the bark with them. A snarl was soon followed as she was midway to the brach, her claws easly hooked in each climb she took and soon found her mark as she scambled on to it.
Out of the bushes came, a large orange...thing? It's yellow eyes scanned the area and it's jaws wide in a snarl as it looked around. "So much for thinking quietly." Scarlet sighed silently, while watching the fox from above.
Little did she know that a group of cats were just about to leave camp and look for the so called "Loner" and the fox.
