The silver light shone through the trees and into the clearing surrounding a young cat. The pretty she-cat lifted her head and let the warmth soothe her. The auburn colored she-cat stay like this for a moment before realizing why she was here in the first place.
Hunting... she was suppose to be hunting. Auburnpaw shook her head to clear her mind. It was her first solo hunting mission and she was suppose to bring back prey for the elders. Her mentor trusted her enough to catch the prey and not get side tracked. The she-cat was doing rather well until she noticed a bird preening it self on a low branch. She knew she should have tried to catch it, but Auburnpaw couldn't help but sit and watch. Other beings, such as rodents or birds, were very interesting to watch. Their behavior was so...different.
Auburnpaw was about to attempt to catch the bird but it took off before she had even taken a step. She groaned. of course... just her luck.
Auburnpaw continued a little bit farther, through the sunlit trees, until they began to thin out. Auburnpaw had rarely been this direction. This area lead to the twoleg shelters and all the kittypets. She distantly wondered if there was anyone in the kittypet play area now...

Summer. Her thoughts about it seemed to show on her face alittle, her pool blue eyes slightly narrowed as she moved slowly through the forest floor. Her light gray pelt seemed almost like silver, shining abit under a glow of the ever rising sun that showered through the flowing leaves. It was clear now, one of her stripes visable without a doudt and gave off an even lighter gray. The tip of her tail glowed slightly as well, waving side to side like an old father clock and twitched a few times as she stopped to look around. Of course, her name was Saphira. Beautiful and graceful, she was one of the most striking she-cat that you would ever lay eyes on. Though even if that was true, it didn't help so much that she was indeed a kittypet. Not much so now but yet, still mocked at the sight of those who still thought of her as weak. She was starting to get use to cycle of training with warriors and hunting tests. She did them quite well that, she began to even get trust from some of the senior warriors. But! That was still a long way to go, which to the young she-cat was quite a while. Saphira slowly weaved around a few trees, her tail swaying abit as her head rose to check the air. She was slightly right, since one of the apprentices left camp and were suppose to be off hunting. But as she neared the place where Kittypets roamed, the light gray she-cat began to hiss under her breath. The last time she was here, Saphira vowed never to return to the kittypet fields. But as she spotted Auburnpaw up ahead as she leaped over a fallen log, it was only a matter of time before another kittypet would spot her. Sighing slightly, the light gray she-cat sighed and slowly padded up to the apprentice with a smile. "Shouldn't you be back at camp? Or are you just wondering who's here?" Saphira asked, her voice a bit teasing as she stopped beside the auburn colored she-cat with a flick of her silver-tipped tail. ((Sorry about that....But here it is ))

It was another normal day for Saphire. The sun was bright and the birds were chirping. Saphire, usually inside, needed time away from owners, so she thought she would go to the field were she would play with other cats. Not long after Saphire left her yard, she came up to the field. Whenever Saphire came to the field she was reminded of her missing friend Saphira. Looking around the field, Saphire saw only two cats sitting together. Padding over to the cats, Saphire realized that they were not cats that she knew, so Saphire jumped into a bush hoping that the cats did not see her. Taking a closer look at the cats, Saphire saw that one of the cats looked like Saphira. Maybe that is Saphira. There is only one way to know, get closer to these cats.

Auburnpaw jumped when she heard a voice beside her. She turned her yellow gaze to see Saphira walking towards her. Feeling slightly embarrassed she murmured, "I got distracted." Were there any cats in there? She'd always wanted to meat a cat from outside the four clans. If Saphira hadn't come along this might have been her chance. Though, it was ironic because Saphira wasn't a clanborn cat, and talking to her would be like talking to an outsider. But at the same time, Saphira felt like a clan cat despite her background.
"I was hunting actually, before I stumbled across this place." She felt the need to explain that was wasn't a bumbling kit out of the nursery for the first time.
She eyed the light gray warrior with curious eyes. "What are you doing here?" She asked, only worrying slightly that the question might be rude.

Saphira flicked her ears back, listening to Auburnpaw with a gentle smile on her muzzle and sat down slowly with her tail wrapping around her front paws. It was quite odd, talking to an apprentice of which was fully clan born. But then, she herself was part clan cat and had never really felt like a kittypet at all. As she heard the question however, the light gray she-cat simply chuckled and looked to the sky.
"One of the warriors were worried about you. So, they sent me to check up on you." Saphira spoke softly, her pool blue eyes gazed back on the auburn colored she-cat and nodded. She was about to continue speaking, until a scent crossed her nose and a chill ran up her spine. Until now, she was not used to being so keen on scents or hearing things clearly and it took her quite a while just to keep up with everyone's scent. But this one scent, which made her eyes widen quite a bit and then narrow them. It was just her luck. Her kithood friend and a true kittypet, this was one of Saphira's most biggest worries.
Saphire. The light gray she-cat thought, her whiskers twitching a bit in annoyonce. She was one of the only friends Saphira had and that she left her without telling her why. Not that she would have told the kittypet anyway, since she was keeping that part of being a half blood in the first place. Sighing with narrowed eyes, Saphira looked up at the sky again and spoke in a calm but low voice."It looks like we have company."

Auburnpaw blinked. She hadn't thought she'd been out that long. Time seemed to fly when she was hunting. Auburnpaw was about to apologize when the she-cat told her that there was someone else here.
At first, Auburnpaw was excited. Someone from outside the clans! She had always wanted to meet one. After a second of thought, the auburn coloured she-cat realized that this other cat might be dangerous to the clans, or herself personally. They very well may be a longer or rouge that despises the clans.
Auburnpaw opened her jaws to see if she could pinpoint where Saphira had smelt or sensed the other cat. Once she smelt it, she realized that it was a scent she could not recognize. A kittypet probably.
"Where is it though?" She asked, wondering if Saphira could see the cat.

Saphire, hearing the two of the cats talking about her, had no choice but to show herself. "Saphira," Saphire said as she walked toward the cats, "is that you? Who is this other cat and why is she here?" Saphire said as she realized that she did not know this new cat. As Saphire looked at her old friend she said, "I have been looking for you everywhere for you. All of our neighboring cats have missed you. What have you been doing?" Realizing she said too much in front of the new cat, Saphire became quiet.

Saphira sighed, unwrapping her silver-tipped tail until it layed beside her and looked at Auburnpaw with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "An old friend that will come out shortly." She simply spoke, suddenlly hearing her name being called and let out a sigh at the sight of Saphire. Just like I rememeber her. Saphira thought, looking at the kittypet with it's collor still around it's neck. It reminded her of the dreadful ringing that marked her as a kittypet, but also the sweet freedom of losing it as well. Listening to the she-cat's questions, the light gray she-cat couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the questions that were asked. Her old friend and the other kittypets had no idea of what she had done, though she knew she would have to tell them soon. That she was now a Forest cat. Her pool blue eyes glanced at Auburnpaw, wondering how the apprentice would cope under so many questions that Saphire had asked toward her and flicked her ears back. "Auburnpaw." Saphira began, turning her gaze to Saphire as she did so. "This is Saphire. She is one of my few friends, when I was a kittypet." She continued, raising her tail until it began to sway a bit. "Auburnpaw is a Forest cat, an Apprentice." She glanced at the apprentice with a look of "Don't ask why" before sighing a bit. "You see, Saphire. I left to become what my father wanted...A Warrior cat." Saphira added calmly, letting her eyes drift to Auburnpaw with a nod. She really didn't want to say much about why she had left, but so far, she hasn't needed to say much about anything yet.
