"I am really insane," the former medicine cat murmured, grouchily. Usually, she would not complain about everything, but age truly caught up with her, making her cranky. With Walldrop's unexpected disappearance, she was far more than just cranky.
Miserable as always, she knew she was a fail at love. That was why she turned into a medicine cat. To avoid all distraction. Though, she lived for a long time, it felt actually good to be out of the camp. To let her mind wander free dangerously in the dark woods.
Soon, she caught a scent. It was...she turned her head and looked behind her, an annoyed look on her face, "Ravenpaw?" [/size]

Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw frowned a bit as she padded towards the medicine cat's den, she had to talk with her mentor eventually, was she a little mean when they first met yes, yes she was. But was she born like that? Perhaps, she always was a little strange. She born of a cold spirit only tamed by a wild fire named Smallpaw, and now her good friends Cayonpaw and Tigerpaw. She had calmed down abit, if only a bit. Now she could at least say hi right? Maybe a small how are you? No that was just going to far, to far... Ravenpaw frowned, almost scowling, stupid Shadowsong, why did she have to be her mentor, her mentor who didn't teach her anything! How was she going to be a medicine cat when she hardly knew anything about herbs?! Ravenpaw sighed, it wasn't her fault she was stuck as a medicine cat, it was that mouse-dung badger. FOX-DUNG! How come she couldn't be an apprentice still! It wasn't fair. 'It's either this or Elderhood' she shuddered a bit at the thoughts of having to sleep in the elders den. "Ugh" she moaned, what would she do now? Pretend to be something she wasn't? Nice? She shuddered again at the word. Fear of losing anything again driving her to insult someone. But sadly no one was around to shout at. Curse her and her bad timings. She scowled now, her frown replaced. She'd have to go in eventually, but she merely sat outside the den. The sun peeked out from behind the clouds, it hit her fur and made it glow lightly. She felt no warmth but did enjoy the thoughts of the sun warming her up. Her raven black fur shone gently. Her icy blue eyes glared down at the ground. She sighed, she didn't want to go in... just yet. She groaned a bit and wanted to go out.. but her mind lingered on a certain brown tom that she couldn't help but feel like.... she was meltingm her icy coldness shattered and melted away before him. He was the only cat besides her father, Silentclaw and Smallpaw to ever see the nice side of her. It pained her so much that she couldn't be with him which made her even more upset then she already was. She was in a really bad mood right now and didn't want to talk about it. She gave up on her mentor and padded -Well more like limped- out of camp. Her icy blue eyes clouded with thought as she tried to push back everything that made her upset that morning. She limped quite a ways awa before she gasped a tripped, she winced as he face twisted in pain, her shoulder.... great... She hated the fact her shoulder was broken. She got up and limped off once more it was more noticible now though. She thought she heard someone say her name. "Hi?" She called out quietly.

"Hmph," Appleblossom snorted rudely. Rude was what she wanted to do right now. She was not in any mood to talk with someone, even someone like Ravenpaw. She was always grouchy. And a meanie. She would not admit that the little black she-cat was a lot like Appleblossom, herself.

Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw hissed a bit groaning, she rolled her eyes and limped off, she wasn't in the mood to talk with anyone, even that grouchy old she-cat like Appleblossom, as much as she loved to argue she hated when she was in a bad mood. She gasped and winced letting out a loud yelp when she stepped on her shoulder wrong. She forced herself to sit and licked her shoulder painfully, she hated her shoulder more then anything at this pointed, "Stupid, fox-dung badger" she swore angrily. She sighed a bit her face twisted lightly in pain as she did, she licked her shoulder again, her icy blue eyes glaring at it angrily.

"Something bit your tongue, eh?" Appleblossom asked once she came over to the small cat's side, checking out her shoulder. She hummed as she went along. "Got yourself in trouble?" She asked.

Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw glared back at her quietly, she sighed a bit. "It's nothing" She muttered quietly turning away, she refused to get help from others, she wasn't able to be helped anyways. Her shoulder was broken forever. She was unable to run, and she even had troubles walking from time to time. She limped everywhere.... her life sucked to much... The only good thing she had was Canyonpaw... and she couldn't even be with him, she wanted to be more then anything... more then everything. She sighed a bit more, "It's nothing" She said again trying to assure herself, but she felt like she was even failing at that.

"Oh, shut up," the old medicine cat simpled stated as if it was nothing. She moved on and began to work her magic. "Let me fix your shoulder, please. So, come here." With no patience left, she only waited. It was amazing, really, how she had zero patience, yet she was still here, not fumbling with anger. Not yet.
No promises. She waited for her to reply.

Ravenpaw~My time of Dying~//Smallpaw I need you// Ravenpaw growled and folded her ears back, she hated when others told her what to do, she refused half the time, but then again she didn't really want to talk, she sat still, "You can't help..... it's shattered.." She muttered quietly, she had broken it in a fight with the badger, that badger killed her brother and Ravenpaw swore vengance upon it... but how could she she? Her shoulder was broken, it had been broken before when she fell in the river, her father saved her life but she ended up breaking her shoulder, the break wasn't that bad back then, it slowed her down but she remained an apprentice... but that badger had ruined it and now she was stuck. She couldn't run, or hunt or fight she was stuck being medicine cat apprentice... she wouldn't have mind it so much... but she fell in love... She sighed a bit.

"It is shattered, but I can fix it. If you let me!" Appleblossom sharply retorted as she came to Ravenpaw's shoulder, her paws softly pressing against the wound spot. "All right, let's go to the medicine cat den. Shadowsong will be there," she said, but then whispered low, "If she is ever there."
She padded after the medicine cat's den with no care if Ravenpaw was following her or not. Or, maybe she did care. Glancing back, she waited, "Come on."

Ravenpaw snorted a bit, she doubted that Appleblossom could really help. She blinked a bit and sighed nodding her head, "Whatever..." She muttered and limped after her, "Shadowsong... is never there... she doesn't really care.... she never teaches me anything anyways" She grumbled a bit. She sighed, it was true she hardly considered Shadowsong her mentor, she hadn't taught her anything about herbs at all, for Ravenpaw it's all been about insinct. As though Starclan had always been guiding her, teaching her, but still it would be nice to know what she was doing.

Appleblossom paused in her footsteps. She heard what Ravenpaw said. "I don't blame you. She is always like that." With another scoff, she added, "I could teach you, if you would shut up and let me fix your shoulder." She was surprised at how much she talked. This sparked something inside her.
Ravenpaw was a lot like Appleblossom, herself. She realized that Shadowsong, who was like the daughter she never had, was not like her. Nothing at all. She realized her mistake and regretted it.

Ravenpaw blinked her icy blue eyes, she thought about it. The small black she-cat, smaller then your average apprentice, her body is quite slim with very little muscle, but she was also very fast because she is so light. She had short but silky fur which is well kept, with a skinny yet long tail, a pointed muzzle and slightly pointed ears. She has a large scar on her back that is covered with fur, but is still visible if you look hard, sometimes when she thinks about the past it hurts. She looked at Appleblossom, Her eyes the coldest icy blue as cold as a moonless night in leaf-bare. The young medicine cat apprentice thought about her offer, she nodded her head a bit, "Okay..." She muttered quietly.

Appleblossom only nodded at Ravenpaw's answer. At that, the former medicine cat sat down and began applying herbs on the young cat's shoulder. "Now, do you know what herb this is?" She patiently waited for the cat to reply.

Ravenpaw looked at it quietly, she shook her head, "No... I don't" she added, she really wasn't sure what alot of herbs were, she rarely went by name basis she just kinda called it by what it looked like, how she knew what she did was another story. She didn't always know what she was doing she just did. She looked at Appleblossom with her icy blue eyes and waited to be told what it did.
