oceanstari realize yeah, it was only just a dream.
Lying was something that was so frivolous to Oceanstar that she rarely thought of the concept. No matter what, if someone lied, someone would find out, somehow. And anyways, it was stupid to do! Any cat who tried fibbing to anyone was fox-dung. Oceanstar always tried to think of one good reason for lying, but she never found any. The biggest lie she ever told was to Footpaw, and it was that she wasn't from some faraway place, which doesn't matter much, and she shortly uncovered the truth three minutes after lying to him. Okay, to put it in simple terms; only mouse-dungs lie to people.
When her old mother asked her where she was going, she simply replied "The MoonCave. I'll be back before dark, don't worry." Oceanstar rubbed up against her mother and purred. On the walk there, Oceanstar picked at pieces of grass of the ground, talked to herself and thought of herself, and of course, she did one thing, one unspeakable thing she always tries to forget but she can't.
She was thinking about Shoreshadow.
She still remembers his black fur; like the dad's fur; and how his blue eye's were just like Oceanstar's. But, she also remembers the wolves, and the blood, and the... the dying and crying and everything besides the lying because there was no lying between them. Oceanstar would literally die to have her brother come back to life. He was so young, and he was just... helpless and hopeless, even though Oceanstar wasn't any better. She was too weak as a young kit, and so was Shoreshadow; which might have just added to the fact that it was even worse watching someone die, even if they couldn't do something about it.
Somehow, her thoughts traveled to Footpaw. She had been avoiding him, how long has it been since they actually purposely got together? Maybe a bit more than ten moons or so. Oceanstar missed him in a way, a secret kind of friendly way. They might see each-other around town, but that wasn't enough for Oceanstar. She needed to talk with him, to tell him things.
So much had happened in the cats' lives, but none of the cats knew about the others lives. Well, Footpaw knew Oceanstar was the leader then, but that probably made him feel even worse. He knew that Oceanstar was popular, but he couldn't get to her then, she was too important for love, well that's what he thought.
Inside, they were going through the same things.
Outside, the weather was humid. The sun was beating down on her, but that wasn't it. The air didn't have a very cool, crisp feeling that day, and Oceanstar easily sweated, which was embarrassing - but she couldn't control it, as far as she knew. The cave in view, Oceanstar started walking slower, remembering when she was initiated here to get her nine lives and become a leader. Other days, Oceanstar just came here to talk to the StarClan, like today.
Entering the cave, she Oceanstar sees the stone. The stone... she walks towards it, and tries to stay awake, but she can't... she can't... Her last thought is that she'll hopes she'll get to see Shadowshore...
Auburn fur with green eyes. The tom-cat in unfamiliar, it isn't Shoreshadow. You're sad, but you can't just ask for him. "Um, is everything going to be okay?" Realizing you'd look stupid if you don't ask anything, you asked a simple question. "Footpaw is in danger, soon." "What kind of danger?" You're panicking so you stutter over words and you don't know what to say. The tom-cat is stuck there waiting and you're lost, scared, because you don't want him to be harmed, not now. Oops, you took to long. "Bye."
And then you wake up.
It's never Shoreshadow and that one thing upset Oceanstar the most, but so does the news. Footpaw was in danger, and she wasn't going to let him get hurt. Oceanstar starts leaving the MoonCave when her gray fur brushes up against brown, gray, and black she-cat's fur. "Sorry..."

The day was hot, the sun beaming down with a hot intensity, selfishly consuming at everything but the shade. The thick pelted female found herself sweating in the humid and hot weather, her green eyes blinking occasionally to adjust to the bright light of the day. No wind comforted the warm earth, and no rain clouds threatened to cool the surfaces inhabits. Though the weather would be a burden to anyone else, the she-cat now traveling to the Moon Cave found herself enjoying it to an extent.
Nature was a part of life, and if you never learned to enjoy every last bit of it, you haven't lived a full life. It was like this medicine cat however, to think this way. She felt a bond, sisterhood to the earth whom so willingly welcomed every footstep and stomp. Everything was a gift; With nothing in return, the earth was truly the most selfless being.
Sagecloud found her thoughts wandering everywhere in a bored frenzy, her steps slowing and speeding without her knowing. Her thoughts always raced back to the sense of dread, however. Not exactly fear or fright, but something was coming. Sagecloud also had the feeling the other medics knew so. She wasn't the only one feelings the mysterious emotion. It was not something that happened so suddenly, and this strong of a feeling was seldom.
As the steps seemed to become more anticipated, she found herself at her destination. Taking a breath, she shook her fur lightly, before entering the cave. However, she was bumped, lightly, by someone Sagecloud had not known. Sorry... She murmured. Sagecloud only smiled sweetly. She has heard of this new leader. No need for an apology, Oceanstar.
Sagecloud spoke calmly, for this was the new leader of Moonclan. It is a pleasure to meet you, miss. Sagecloud dipped her head politely at the leader. I am the FireClan Medicine Cat, Sagecloud. She introduced herself. This female was gorgeous, Sagecloud had to admit. She smirked lightly, and could tell she was a well fitted leader already.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

oceanstarhere we go again.
Some cat families, or just cats in general, had some debate, something like nature verses nurture. It meant that either as a young kit, you're either affected more by nature, or how you were nurtured. Oceanstar would easily take the nature side, since everything is affected by nature; weather, wind, growth of plants, and so much more; all that can change any person's life at an instant. Today, nature decided to be hot, and in no way can a parent of cat's tell their kit that there is a way to avoid the heat without swimming or staying in the shade. Nature sucked sometimes.
The cat next to her had muttered "Sorry," under hear breath, but Oceanstar could not read the she-cat's lips, instead, she smiled her smile, and waited for the she-cat to speak up. "No need for an apology, Oceanstar." Well, am I well-known now? Oceanstar has never thought of the thought, but she was sure that she was bound to be noted, she's the new leader of the MoonClan, surely news spreads around the Clans. Honored, was the one word that could describe how Oceanstar felt - honored that she was known, and respected, by other Clans.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, miss. I am the FireClan Medicine Cat, Sagecloud." At that moment, Oceanstar could have lied and said she knew Sagecloud, she had heard she was very skilled, but she never actually heard the name Sagecloud in her life. Lying seemed... preposterous in a situation like that. Looking at the other she-cat in they eyes, she could tell she had bright, solid green eyes, and that she was committed - that was only a guess, though.
"No, I am truly sorry, an apology is necessary," Oceanstar said, "And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Sagecloud." Dead silence was always something that was just strange to Oceanstar, it was something solemn-like and something boring, not that she cares if her life isn't interesting. But sometimes, broken air is just... uncomfortable. Killing the dead-air (which was technically impossible since you can't kill something that's dead) was just a question asked by Oceanstar to make Sagecloud feel important compared to such a leader like Oceanstar. "How are things, back at the FireClan?"
She truly cared, she wanted to know if something had happened serious, maybe if something did happen, that was what was going to injure Footpaw. Oceanstar didn't to know. "If it's something confidential, you don't have to tell me." The feline added with a smile.

Sagecloud saw something in this female, something far more than potential. She had strength, and a natural authority. She would be a great leader, Sagecloud could easily see that. Sagecloud was naturally friendly, and open, never looking for enemies, and whatever she saw in this female drew Sagecloud to her. They would hopefully make fine friends.
"No, I am truly sorry, an apology is necessary," Oceanstar started. "And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Sagecloud." Oceanstar finished. Sagecloud smiled, and dipped her head once more. It was then she sat down, for this meeting would not end soon. Oceanstar seemed disciplined in respect, the same respect that Sagecloud had for her. She dug her claws into the ground once, and looked at Oceanstar's blue eyes with her own emerald.
Silence was suddenly brought upon the atmosphere, and it wasn't the most great thing. Though Sagecloud was used to, and often welcomed silence, this one was awkward for only a moment. "How are things, back at the FireClan?" As if nervous, the female spoke after that. "If it's something confidential, you don't have to tell me." Sagecloud somehow felt... Like she was more than a medicine cat. Sagecloud smiled back at the leader before speaking.
There is no troubles, currently. Thank you for asking. Might I ask how your clan is taking the new leader? Hopefully, they treat you with much deserved respect?
Sagecloud smiled. She was not trying to kiss up to the female, impress it, pull off a good impression, no. Sagecloud was naturally polite, truthful/ She smiled, and waited a reply.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

oceanstarit all started with a big bang.
Walking circles around herself, Oceanstar carefully listened to Sagecloud's words. "There is no troubles, currently. Thank you for asking. Might I ask how your clan is taking the new leader? Hopefully, they treat you with much deserved respect?" Oceanstar had to think about that one. Not because they sometimes respected her, or that she wasn't welcomed as a leader, but no one had really talked to her that she never talked to before. "Their treating me fine, I think..."
More silence.
"When were you hired as medicinecat?" Oceanstar decided that was a good conversation starter.
