wastin' time like it was free will you ever find where you want me?
green-leaf was dry -- no doubt about it -- but Sear could tell rain was teasing the forest. the earth was beginning to crack in places, even in FireClan, but the air was humid and clouds had blocked the sun from the midday.
he wasn't sure where he was. the scents were overpowering, and since he'd met Mango, Sear had become restless. the loner meadow only sprawled so far, after all -- and the restless bone in his body had begun to ache.
thoughts of his mother, his wandering siblings, his wasted life, the rogue he'd found charming...
it was all a heady brew. and although they'd talked about the ferocity of the Clans, he realized that he was probably trespassing. his paws on cracked, foreign soil burned -- not by the heat of the day, because it was surprisingly mild -- but by the knowledge that enemy eyes were probably on his pelt.
and then a few choice raindrops splashed onto his striped orange head.
Good omen, or bad? he thought, sitting, curling his tail around his paws. And why the hell am I here?
and i only would do for you what you'd do for me, yeah and i only would do for you what you'd do for me

Leafmask wandered out of camp, she was upset that Flamespirit wasn't doing his job and coming out hunting with her, but she couldn't blame him, he was helping out someone else and she couldn't tear her twin away for such a selfish reason even though she wanted to. Leafmask glanced around with her forest green eyes, the sunlight seeped through the holes in the treees showing off her bright ginger orange fur, her snow white paws and her white muzzle, nose and tail tip. She flicked her tail from side to side almost swaying it as she did, her eyes searched for any signs of prey anywhere. She ended up catching a two mice and wanted to get a third for herself, Leafmask wandered out rustling a bush as she did so, she padded out and spotted another orange pelt in the sun at first she thought it was Flamespirit trying to sneak up on her... then she considered otherwise because Flamespirit was always to loud, she stared at the tom. She felt instantly flirtly, but resisted only because she was supposed to be hunting not flirting with toms.... yet. "Hi" Leafmask said quietly.

he had been entranced with the somewhat rugged beauty of FireClan territory. he had been lost in his thoughts, wandering in circles -- again.
but he didn't hear pawsteps. he briefly scented another cat -- perhaps older than him, female, doswed in FireClan territory odor. he couldn't turn around in time, though; he felt her presence and was stricken, afraid to look.
A Clan cat. She might bite me, tear me open, eat my insides... oh, gods, what have I done? he was no coward, but he felt sure, suddenly, that this would be the end of him.
however, a sweet voice meowed, quietly, "Hi."
that did not sound ferocious.
he turned, surprised at what he saw. a ginger tabby she-cat, her eyes a lush dark green, stood behind him. he couldn't help but breathe a silent sigh of relief.
"Er, hello," Sear meowed, trying on a smile. "What's your name? I guess you're a warrior from this Clan, right?"

Leafmask looked at them time, he was very handsome, she flicked her tail back and forth, she smiled sweetly at him, "Yes I am" She said, "My name is Leafmask" She said, she looked him over, "What is your name stranger, judging by the way you speak, your not a clan cat at all, you don't smell like a clan cat at all" she said, "Who are you then?" she asked happily towards him, her bright green eyes shimmering.
