Fogkit
An orange tabby kit left the sanctuary at about sunhigh. The weather was nice today so Fogkit was allowed out on his own. He wondered vaguely where he should go. He looked at the various cats doing their duties.
He saw apprentices cleaning out the elders den. Fogkit didn't envy them for that but he wished that he could be of use to the clan. Surely he was old enough to get his apprentice name, Fogpaw. He longed to be called that.
The little tom took one step after another in the direction of the medicine cats den. He had looked inside a time or two to see the medicine cat working with her herbs. He wanted to do that too.
The kit padded into the medicine cat den and looked around at the various herbs and wondered what each one was for and what cats had taken them. He sniffed at one or two before sneezing and falling back on his butt. He looked around the medicine cat again expecting to find the pretty medicine cat around so he could ask her what these were used for.
