Haggarfrost let out a quiet growl rumbling in her throat. She was nervous most than ever in her life. She cannot wait for the leaders to shut their mouths up and let her leader tell all cats about what will happen. She wrapped her tail around her paws, keeping herself silent. It was such a temptation to stand up and speak out to the leaders that they better shut up, but she will only get in trouble...

Revolutionstar cleared his thorat, his eyes blazing with fury. He had half a mind to tackle Duskstar, but he dared not to. "If Mistclan is so worried about it then why don't you get some actual proof instead of coming up with these imaginative kit tales!" he hissed coldly. "And if Mistclan can't accept that they are wrong then perhaps Fireclan will have to teach you a lesson in the very near future." he snarled.
Some Fireclan cats yowled in agreement of their leader's choice.

"Bring it on, prey-stealers!" the fiery yuong she-cat from Mistclan hissed leaping to her leader side. Her short tan and white pelt bristled and the apprentice who'd just been made a warrior yesterday growled ferociously. Fireclan was really getting on her nerves. How dare they call her clan liars! The scents were proof enough!
"Gathering or no gathering, we're always ready to take you!" Almondfang snapped smirking, her small body close to the ground in a ready-to-pounce crouch, her tail eagerly lashing back and forth. Her sharp, thin claws flexed as she began to tremble with excitement.
Meanwhile, a Fireclan apprentice sat completely unaware of her leader's arguements. Her big purple eyes gazed excitedly around the clearing. She squealed with delight as she spotted the Dawnclan tom, Sandmask.
"Eep, he's soooo cute!" she giggled to her best friend Blazeheart. She prodded her ginger buddy with an annoying black paw. "Isn't he adorable?!"

Blazeheart flicked her tail across Lotuspaw's ears.
"Quiet, the leaders are speaking. And no! He isn't adorable," the ginger she-cat hissed. She had never liked a tom and didn't find time to look at each one.
"Easy young Almondfang," Raincloud growled sternly, placing his paw on the she-cat's tail so she wouldn't run off.
"There's still a truce during a Gathering."

"How dare you say my kit wasn't stolen!" wailed a black dappled she-cat sitting in the back of the crowd of cats.
Duskstar unsheathed his claws. "No cat will call me or my Clan liars!" he snarled back, his eyes glinting with fury in the half-light. "And if you want a battle, You can expect one!" he crouched down, muscles tensed to leap. Suddenly clouds covered the moon. Frightened meows rippled across the clearing. "The Moon!" "Its a sign!"
The MistClan leader straightened up with narrowed eyes. "There will be no fighting" his meow echoing across. He nodded to the other leaders to continue.

Twilightstar stepped forward to speak. "MoonClan is doing fine. Prey is well. The only this is that we had a little problem with some rogues but we took care of them." Twilightstar said. She stepped back.
Waterpaw looked up at the sky. She didn't want there to be a fight. That would mean Wolfsong would fight. She didn't want her brother to fight. He might get hurt. She glanced over at her brother.

Twilightstar nodded. "A few of us are scratched up but we didn't lose anyone." She said. She really believed and trusted her clan. She knew they could take them because she thought he clan was strong.

Duskstar faced the FireClan leader cooly, his emerald green eyes flashing in a way that told you he was still angry. "If FireClan is so preoccupied with milling over MistClan not telling the truth, thats your problem. We are a proud Clan and we tell the truth, whether you forest dwellers like it or not. Maybe all those bird feathers you eat have gone to your head. -he snickered slightly at this- And you talk and sneer about battle? When we are growing strong with fish? The river is fast and dangerous non-swimable cats, this time of year...and we are sleek and well-fed. I have just annouced the welcome of three new Warriors!, our deputy has returned, we have kits in the nursery and strong apprentices. You look to us for battle?" Duskstar meow rang out into the silent clearing. His voice as sharp and hard as stone, his confidence as high as the moon.
Dustleaf twiched her whiskers uncertaintly. This couldn't go well, even when she just made friends with FireClan! How could she face them in battle? But she knew the answer. As soon as a war cry went out, they were enemies, no matter what bonds she had made at the Gatherings.

An indignant "nyaa!" was heard from among the Fireclan cats. Lotuspaw was finally paying attention to the gathering and it was making her very irritated. One of the things she hated most was liars, and to be called one- and even worse, to call Revolutionstar one... Grrr...
And that taunt.. It was true the black she-cat was among the very few who could swim among her clanmates, but her family was full of strong warriors, even if she couldn't fight very well herself. No one insulted the ones most precious to her..A soft growl arose from the usually perky and laid-back Fireclan cat.
"Duskstar's so mean..." Lotuspaw mewed, pouting to Blazeheart.
Meanwhile, excited blood coursed through a lean new warrior of Mistclan. The she-cat smirked, her tail swishing with approval at her leader's speech. Those sounded like fighting words, and she was always ready for battle. And eager as well. She would not get in anyone's way and would fight to the death to defend the honor of her clan.
"Tch... how troublesome," mumbled a young tom from Moonclan. Pandapaw was grateful his clan wasn't part of this stupid, troublesome bickering. Jeez, what a drag..fights were so troublesome... The black and white apprentice yawned, wishing his mentor hadn't forced him into comming to this gathering...

Blazeheart nodded. Her own fur bristled, but she exchanged an uncomfortable glance at Dustleaf. She could tell that the Mistclan cat was reluctant to fight.
Raincloud kept one eye on Almondfang, making sure she didn't rush off and attack. He gazed at the leaders calmly, but the twitching tail betrayed how nervous he was. A fight wasn't necessary, but the Fireclan leader was persistent.

Dragontail looked at Pandapaw. The black and white apprentice was right, those Clans were getting all worked up for pretty much nothing. He flicked his ears, glad that MoonClan didn't have anything to do with these mouse-brains. Neverless, he bent down slightly to hiss in his ear, "Pay attention. While these cats mill about a battle, their weaknesses might be shown. Never blow off a Gathering, it is one of the most important times to know what your future enemy will be like"
Dustleaf met Blazeheart's eyes as if on cue, her whiskers twitching to show that she was sorry about all this drama between the two Clans.
Sunflash sighed and looked at Raincloud. He didn't entirely blame him or his Clan for thinking that they might have done anything..but he coudn't recall anything that they did bad.. But finding a kit missing, and somehow finding FireClan scent around the borders was a little strange, he had to admit.

"How DARE you!" roared Revolutionstar in a blind rage. He was usually calm and didn't get angry a lot. "If Mistclan is so mighty then why are you so reluctant to fight with us? Feeding us all of these exuses when you KNOW who with walk away with victory...Fireclan does NOT lie. What would you think if you knew that half of Mistclan talks of your arrogance and stupidity Duskstar? We have all heard your warriors talk of how dispecable and stupid you are. Now the pitiful Duskstar is blowing hot air....Well i'll tell you this Duskstar...if you're even worthy to be called 'star' Fireclan will not back down. We all are strong and we will defeat you. So watch out." Revolutionstar snarled.
Brokencyde's jaw dropped. No say it's not so! Why? Fireclan is not my enemy! How can i wound anyone in it? he thought he almost wialed in dispair but he held his tongue.

Duskstar curled his lips back in a snarl. He flattened his ears and his hackles raised. "I do not intend to shed blood for no reason. Branchstar, If you would go. I an not argueing with this immature mousebrain." He said sharply, turing away from the FireClan leader. He wasn't worth his time.

Branchstar shook himself and stepped up to the plate. "Dawn clan is well. But i unforetley am not. My father and I are leaving the clan. Im not right to lead dawn clan and do not feel right doing so. So Haggarfrost is to take over.Call me what you like and say what you want. But my time here is done. I have visited the mooncave and Haggarstar is right to leave you. (when he went to moon cave he had his lives stripped so it would be best for haggarfrost.) Branchstar lept down from the rock with his father following. He licked waterflights cheek and promised to be back and the two of them padded into the darkness. (ugh srry it was rushed im getting bored of it....)

He'd been head of the clan since the hazel-eyed tom had been a kit, and it was a hard loss for the young warrior. But he knew Starclan would keep the dutiful Branchstar safe. And who knew? Maybe they'd meet again someday. The dusky lean tom but on a brave smile and yowled a farewell to the now-former Dawnclan leader... |

He hadn't expected this..but Branchstar had been acting a little strange lately. Haggarfrost was a good choice for the Clan. But he still wondered why Tigerfrost, the deputy wasn't going to take his place. Dustleaf pricked her ears in shock. Branchstar was leaving?! But why? She looked to the other DawnClan cat to see their reaction. |

Haggarfrost was glad that the clans are calming down after they yowled death threats to each other. She could not help, but to smile at her clanmates and held her head high proudly. She thanked everyone who gave their wishes and their cheers for her. She walked to her former leader and stopped him. She dipped her head and touched noses with him then turned her head to Waterflight. "May StarClan go with you." As she left two toms, she turned around to her clan. She walked and leaped on the rock to take the place beside the leaders of other clans. She was suprised to see her whole clan down below. It was interesting to see in the leader's view. She was too proud and too happy so she feel a bit light-headed. She could see her clan's eyes shining on her. She told everyone, "Thank you, everyone! My name is now, Haggarstar and I will lay all of my nine lives for the clan, the brave and fierce loyal cats of DawnClan!"

Blazeheart's ears pricked when she heard Branchstar's announcement. It was a surprise that the long respected leader was leaving the Dawnclan. Her amber gaze rested on Haggerfrost. The new leader seemed promising and the ginger she-cat hoped that the new leader wouldn't cause trouble for Fireclan. Fireclan still had to deal with Mistclan
Raincloud returned Sunflash's glance. He himself felt the Fireclan leader was being quite aggressive. But if a battle was necessary, the tom was ready.
Pantherclaw's yellow eyes widened in surprise at his leader's declaration. What had led Branchstar to leave Dawnclan? The black and white tom shook himself. What's done is done. Haggerfrost was respected by all the cats in Dawnclan, and he was a good choice for a leader.
Lynxpaw wanted to jump to her paws and yowl out to her leader. Instead, she contented with herself scraping the ground with her claws. Anger and confusion of her leader's departure made her uncomfortable.

Revolutionstar stared at Duskstar. Was it not moons ago that they were allies? "And i believe i should mention this." he meowed. "HOw can Fireclan be stealing prey when so much has been stolen from us? We found scarpas of rabbits and mice on the edge of our border." he admitted.

Duskstar snorted and rolled his eyes. "Enough is enough, especially for a single gathering. Kits have been missing without any trace, and prey has been found already killed. The Clans must decide their future for their own problems, StarClan have already sent us one sign. He looked up to the full moon, still clear but low in the sky. "If all the leaders are done, I say this Gathering should come to a close.
((We just need someone to volunteer for Ashenpaw, then we can start on the new Plot))

Revolutionstar stared at Duskstar hate boiled inside of him. "Fireclan." he meowed simply. He leapt down from the highrock anger and hostility radiating off of his pelt. He led his clan back home.
