((You guys better learn your Roman Numerals, We'll be using them here. This is the 4th Gathering in case your wondering.. Also here is where Branchstar will announce that Haggarstar will be the leader of DawnClan, and Duskstar of MistClan will be killed soon for the Plot. If you have no idea what I'm talking about I'll be making a thread on it  )) Duskstar jumped sure-footedly on top of the Huge rock. The ledge was out so the four leaders could comfortably stand or sit. Most of his Clan was out in the field below, there wasn't really any need to defend the camp since he wasn't in any hostile moments with any other leaders. He glanced at Demonscars below, the deputy that had returned after so long. It was a strange feeling being by him..It was like he was plotting something. A warm breeze ruffled his fur. Whatever it was, he would worry about it later. He looked up at the full moon, shining silver on the forest. The other Clans should be here any moment now. |

Twilightstar appeared out of the bushes with her clan behind her. She glanced at Demonscars, but looked away fast, not wanting to stare. She jumped up next to Duskstar. "Hello Duskstar." She said. She seemed to be getting more conferable around other leaders. Thats was good. She was getting better at talking and leading the clan.
Wolfsong sat there silently, his sister next to him. For some reason, Wolfsong didn't want to talk at all. He watched the MoonClan cats come in, but kept still. He was thinking... thinking a lot.
Waterpaw sat next to him, silent as well. The silence between both of them made Waterpaw shiver. She looked around for some of the medicine cats to talk to.

Duskstar dipped his head respectfully to the other leader. "Twilighstar" He greeted, nodding at her once. He could tell something was different about her...She more open, more confident.
Sunflash noticed the stares both leaders gave Demonscars. He didn't really know that cat. He seemed like a good warrior and a loyal deputy..but...He didn't know how to explain it. There was something almost hostile about him.
Emberclaw waved her tail in Waterpaw's direction. Padding over, she gave a friendly meow. "Have I seen you here before?" she asked her.

Duskstar sniffed the air. He could smell the other two Clans coming.
Emberclaw shrugged. "Probably" she replied. "So,..Prey is running well?"
Dustleaf padded over to join in the conversation. "Hi Waterpaw, Wolfsong." She looked up at the FireClan warrior. "Er..Hi..-" "Emberclaw" she meowed. She nodded to Dustleaf in a greeting.

"Prey is running very well for us." Waterpaw smiled. Then she Turned to Dustleaf. "Hello." She said.
Wolfpaw finally looked up when his name was said. He turned so he could be in the conversation. He just noticed... he was the only tom. He didn't really mind. He just... noticed. He dipped his head. "Hello." He said.

Blazeheart's tail flicked to one side as she watched cats of all shape and color pour into the clearing. Many began to mingle with each other. Blazeheart spotted Emberclaw with three other cats. Their scent told her they were Mistclan cats. She padded over with a greeting meow
Raincloud padded over to Sunflash with a dip of his head. "Greetings, how's prey running?"

Emberclaw saw Blazeheart join their little group. "Hey" she greeted.
Dustleaf smiled and nodded to the other she-cat. She sniffed the air, FireClan. "Blaze...tail?" She meowed trying to remember the ginger cat's name.
Sunflash dipped his head as well. "Wonderful" He replied. "A good Green-leaf so far. I'm sure you are doing well too, I presume?"

Starryeyes looked at Wolfsong with worry on her brow. "What's on your mind?" she quietly asked, really caring about what he had to say.
Branchstar joined the other leaders on the rock. He looked down at his sister Waterflight hating to have to leave her. You see, Branchstar doesn't feel right leading the clan, so his father and him are leaving to become loners. His sister didnt want to go with thte family, and besides she belongs in the clan. He just didn't. His current deputy wasn't ready to become leader so he chose a very loyal and respectful warrior, Haggar- er i guess now Haggarstar. He braced himself for the horrible gathering.

Wolfsong turned to Starryeye "Just thinking about... how now that we are warriors, cats expect so much. We can't really goof off anymore. It's just protect the clan." He said, kind of lying.

Raincloud's ears pricked as he saw the Dawnclan leader, Branchstar join the other leaders. The blue-gray tom's ears flickered when he noticed the grim look on the leader's face. The Mistclan warrior cocked his head, wondering what made the proud leader so down.

Starryeyes stared at him. She could tell she wasnt getting the whole truth. "We will still have time to goof around a little." She said as she playfully hit to his shoulder. But got serious again. "Now why dont you tell me whats really on your mind?" she stared into his eyes, watching him, then blushed and looked down.

Starryeyes smiled at him, but then nodded. "I know, when i was younger, just akit, he had walked into the nursery and air was cold. He brings with him an air of darkness and fear. Hes not a cat to mess with. I feel like he has something being cooked up under that pelt! I would stay away from him." Starryeyes whispered back. She licked his face. "Dont cause trouble with him please."

(Bah! I am so late to Gathering IV....)
Walking silently behind Branchstar was Haggarfrost. Haggarfrost, a cat that does not belong in the world of beauty, have shaggy black pelt and yellow eyes like twin moons. Her physical description sound scary and pretty, but as cats got their chances to meet her in person, she is only a warrior with plain values. She never planned to become a leader because she knew it was not her destiny, but with Branchstar leaving and the deputy not well enough to lead...the clan need her now. She looked around in the clearing and found many eyes lingering on her.

Duskstar acknowledged the DawnClan leader with a friendly flick of his ears. "Hello Branchstar" He greeted.
Sunflash blinked and nodded. "Ahh" he meowed. His attention turned to the black cat with eerie yellow eyes. "Isn't that Haggarfrost from DawnClan?" he asked Raincloud.
Dustleaf smiled apologetically. "Sorry, Blazeheart" She looked around. All the Clans were here except the FireClan leader and deputy. He must've been behind the group on the way over here.

Haggarfrost kept her head high so she would show that she is strong and proud for her clan since her leader is leaving the clan. She took a deep sigh before watching her leader reaching the place to call all clans. She spotted Raincloud, but looked away from him.

Revolutionstar padded into the clearing and leapt onto the highrock. He gave the leaders a cold stare. HE had heard the gossip about Fireclan 'stealing prey' Pssh! As if! Firec;an prey was plentiful and not to mention prey was going missing in his territory as well...

The MistClan leader returned the look and gave an irrated flick of his whiskers. He then let out a yowl to silence the cats below. "MistClan is doing well" Duskstar began. "Prey is running well, Fish are plentyful and there are no signs of floods. Twolegs have kept to their dens this greenleaf, without bothering us with their flapping green pelts and noise. We would also like to welcome three new Warriors; Dustleaf, Wolfsong and Starryeyes. There are here the first time as a Warrior. Also, I would like to announce that Demonscars, the MistClan deputy is back. Thanks StarClan he has returned to us safely." He stepped back and motioned for the next leader to report.
Dustleaf's fur prickled as cats around the clearing turned to look at her. She lifted her head and pricked her ears proudly.

Revolutionstar padded a step forward. "Fireclan is doing splendid...but Spotted star passed away last moon...and we mourn for her greatly, but Fireclan is as strong as ever." he added. He looked at the leaders daring them to say something about the missing prey.

Revolutionstar nodded back to her. He searched in her eyes for hatred...but he didn't seem to find any. He still watned someone to accuse Fireclan so he could show them that he wasn't a coward.

Haggarfrost listened to each leader's report about the clans. As the leaders finished, she felt so nervous. Her paws were shaking a little. The butterflies in her stomach cannot stop flying around wildly. She was going to become a leader! Is it normal for cats to be nervous when they are announced leaders?

Revolutionstar took a deep breath. Wow this wasn't bad at all for his first gathering as a leader. It seemed to be going pretty well unitl....
"If Fireclan prey is running so smoothly then why are you stealing our prey?" shouted a voice from below

Duskstar eyes snapped onto Revolutionstar. "Yes," he hissed. "Just after a kit, Rapidkit, goes missing, We find your scent everywhere on our side of the border!"
((He's talking about the kit that got lost, from 'Greenleaf Heat'))
Sunflash nodded to the blue-gray warrior. "Haggarfrost looks..nervous. Maybe even Happy." He meowed, looking at him.
Dustleaf winced at the argueing leaders. Branchstar and Twillightstar haven't yet shared their report, yet they were fighting now.
