Puddleleaf grinned down at Waterpaw. Today waterpaw was going to bcome waterlilly. But waterpaw didnt know that. yet. "Hello everyone! Shall we begin our trek?" she asked everyone as they stood on the border lines.

Waterpaw smiled at all the medicine cats politely. She loved all the medicine cats. They were all friendly and nice to others. She looked up to them. She liked to hear their stories. She loved being a medicine cat apprentice.

"I am ready." The medicine cat's eyes blinked at the moon's brightness. The stars are out here tonight. That must be a good sign or that is at least she hoped. The clans are in trouble for a long time and she prayed for peace to come, but her wish would not come until many moons later...

Wind picked up to a low howl. Many strange voices could be heard, though they were unmistakenly feline, it seemed to be coming from one unknown source. They grew steadily louder until a strained ear could here.. "He will rise from the Mist, Only the four chosen will stop him... " as the voice recited the prophecy. StarClan. They were the ones talking so cryptically to the Clan Medicine cats.
((Sorry, just needed to get this post going again. And I didn't feel like typing the prophecy again and my computer is being slow, so sorry 'bout that:]))

"Yes," Appleblossom agreed with the medicine cat as she ran to the edge of the cave's entrance. She waited for the others.

Puddleleaf padded inside looking around. She was still amazed but the caves beauty even after all of these moons. "Waterpaw come." She led the apprentice over to the part of the cave where the rocky floor turned into a shiny glass crystal bottom that showed the reflection of the moon. Below the crystal was other gems that sparkled evn in the limited light. "Waterpaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of the medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between clan and clan, and protect all cats equally even at the cost of your life?" she asked with pride.

Waterlilly stood proudly. She was finally Waterlilly. Wolfsong would be so proud. She was now able to have her name normal and be like wolfsong.

Puddleleaf smiled and istructed Waterlilly to lay down on the crystal grond and rest her head. Thats puddleaf did and she soon nodded off about to face starclan.

She do not have an apprentice yet and she have to find one. She is getting old. Then she remembered the face of a small kit: Lacekit. Lacekit will become her apprentice. The thought made her smile. |

"Thank you." Waterpa-Lilly mouthed. She was to excited to talk. She did as Puddleleaf told. The crysal felt cold on her fur. It was soothing to her. She closed her eyes, ready to see StarClan.

Appleblossom stepped closer to the pool and dipped in. Her nose touched the water. She closed her eyes as she fell in a deep dream.

(oh yah) (ok so from whatever clan the med cat is in thats the catthey will be told about so....

Puddleleaf faced starclan and smiled. "Puddleleaf...we have urgent news." mewed the starry cats in unision. "A Demon with scars will take up a fight,
Will attack him until Dusk until night,
And when the victim is dead and gone,
The Demon will think he had won,
Until a Wolf's song is heard pure and clear,
Only then will he fear,
Alas he is dead and no one will mourn,
Until a kit is born,
Red eyes Black pelt he is different then the rest,
The Chosen must then unite and embark on a quest,
From Moon and Mist and Fire and Dawn,
They must stop him before everyone is gone,
Except one of the chosen will turn from it's fate,
Blind with rage and deaf with hate,
A sacrifice will be made and all will return,
For that is what they yearn,
And they must stop that cat at all cost,
Because if they fail, All will be lost." The cats voices fell silent. Puddleleaf stared at them in horror. "Demonscars!" she gasped. "Everpaw is a chosen apprentice, puddleleaf...make sure she is protected well....." and the voices drifted away. Puddleleaf came back to earth and just sad in silence her eyes wide.

Appleblossom opened her purple eyes and looked at the startling pool for a minute or so before she looked up at Puddleleaf. "StarClan sent us a prophecy." She flickered her tail, "This is the dark time for all clans."

The wind picked up outside the cave and swished and swirled like a river. The round opening in the top of the cave where the half moon stood shone bright and clear.

The words were quiet and subtle, something nothing on Earth could master.
But then it became quiet, the wind was still, the leaves stopped rustling. It was as if the forest was hanging on to the last words.

The medicine cat's purple eyes widened as she heard the words too. The words should haunt her as she could see the fear in the young medicine cat apprentice's eyes, but she became used to it. She remembered the first time she recieved her first prophecy a long time ago. She remained calm, her tone cool, "We must return to our clans."
