Twilightstar nodded in agreement. She was just nice like that. She didn't really "hate" any of the clans. She thought of them as friends. But she knew her duties to her clan and if they stepped over the line, she would not hesitate to push them right back. All she wanted was to keep her clan safe.

(After the battle with FireClan and MistClan and Pebblefoot has her kits, when they get back to camp maybe Wolfsong can go to share final respects with Duskstar, only to find a tiny piece of Demonstar's fur in his claw?)
Nightwhisper nodded. She could tell the other Clan's were as cold as she was. In fact though, she didn't really mind it. Any warm night would be better than this, though. Tensions were high, she could practically feel it crackling in the air. The black she-cat shivered, not from the cold this time. She felt bad, but she was counting her lucky stars how this drama wasn't in her Clan.

Demonscars gave the new Dawnclan leader a curt nod, but offered no comment. His tail hung from the rock, switching back and forth slightly, almost as if he were impatient. For his mind was brooding on some things.
Heronflight sat beside Nightwhisper, his own fur fluffed up against the cold. But his eyes never left the leaders. He surveryed Haggarstar with a curious expression. It seemed that Dawnclan was doing well, considering leaf-fall was here. His gaze traveled past the other two and rested on Demonscars. The night seemed colder as the Moonclan tom gazed at the Mistclan tom's dark, cold eyes. He suppressed a shiver, averting his gaze from the rock altogether.

Revolutionstar was patient. He was in no rush. Everything back at the camp was done. Prey was gathered in fat overflowing stacks that would feed them for atleast two days if they were lucky...he and his clan had it made...or so he thought.

Haggarstar smiled at the leaders as she stepped back. She was worried that she will mess up her annoucements at the Gathering, but she had done it very well. Every cat was looking at her with pleasant expressions and she felt better. She did not want any cats looked at her with anger and discomfort like they did to Demonscars. She could not wait to leave the Gathering to return home and forget about other clans' troubles. She was glad it was not her clan that got themselves in this. Thank StarClan.

Twilightstar stepped forward with a smile. "Okay, Moonclan is doing well. The swamp is getting colder which the kit's are not used to yet but they are starting too. We are doing fine trying to find food. It could be a little better but we can't ask for much." She said. She took a step back, her gentle icey blue eyes searched the cats below her. She looked at all their faces.

Revolutionstar casted Twlightstar a look a pity. "If your kits can't get used to it come to us if you need to and we can give you some cloth...we got it from a ditch...it doesn't smell a bit like two-legs...i don't know what it is but it's warm." he meowed politely.

The black tom stood up and streatched.
"Well, if that's it, then I'll be taking Mistclan home,"Demonscars looked between each leader with a measured gaze, as if daring them to object.
"Finally,"Blazeheart muttered to Zeromoon.
"It's too cold to be out here,"she complained, shivering slightly.

Haggarstar agreed with Demonscars. "It is time for DawnClan to leave." She called for her cats as she jumped down from the rock. She flickered her tail as she walked out of the clearing with her clan behind her.

"Yeah, thank StarClan," Zeromoon murmered as she stood up, shaking uneasily from the cold. She touched noses with Blazeheart, her friend, for the last time before she would go back home. She do not know that she will fight her friend, the FireClan warrior, next dawn and got herself unconsious. Life is weird.

"See you at the next Gathering,"the ginger she-cat mewed to the Mistclan cat. Unaware that they will be meeting sooner than they thought.
Unlike the other cats in the clearing, the black tom knew Mistclan would be seeing Fireclan soon..sooner than the next Gathering. Demonscars, his plan already playing in his mind, lept down from the rock and flicked his tail.
"Let's go Mistclan,"he ordered, eager to go back to camp, eager to let his ambition come true, eager for him to rule...
